When trying a new place, I always go for that and I was not disappointed one bit! I tried both the baker's roll (rosemary and sage today) and the heart attack roll. The Boston creme donut was heavy and bready, not light like I would expect. The pastry creme was bland, short on vanilla. The ganache was dark unsweetened chocolate and too bitter for a Boston creme. The maple cronut was over fried with a slight bitter aftertaste. The maple frosting was also bland with no real maple flavor. At $4 a donut, this was a disappointing and expensive experience.
