No venting cut out in ridge.
    Drake 2.

ABSOLUTE HACKS! We had SAS replace our entire roof with a 50 year warranty in addition to 15 sheets of plywood. We recently noticed that many areas of the roof are sagging horribly and not even safe to walk on. The shingles are blowing off in addition to active leaking. It took over a month to get someone out to the home to look at the issues after repeated phone calls. SAS, could care less about our concerns. The owner, Steve Safie finally decided to show up two hours late. He was condescending and rude. When asked his thoughts after looking in the attic, he stated he had none and got in his truck and left. It was discovered that the ridge vent system was not properly installed. The ridge was not cut out to vent the attic, even though it was installed on the exterior of the roof, except for a very small section right above the attic access. Being that we are unable to climb in the attic due to our age, it was purposely cut out right above the opening to appear to be done correctly from the floors vantage point. As a result of no ventilation in the attic, the plywood is delaminated and incomplete failure due to excessive heat and humidity thus the reason of the sagging on the roof. The entire roof needs to be replaced along with all the plywood. We have a $31,000 estimate to fix the roof, not including the possibility of truss damage and mold, due to humidity being trapped in the attic. This assessment has been confirmed by three other roofing contractors in our area. They all stated the same thing, this was done purposely for whatever reason. In addition to the lack of venting, it was discovered that none of the 15 sheets of plywood were replaced at the time of roof installation. Spoke with Steve the owner of SAS this afternoon, he refuses to do anything for us, besides giving us our money back for the additional plywood that we were charged for and never was installed and then hung up the phone on us. Now our only option is to take legal action against SAS in which we are already pursuing. Based on our three inspections and numerous photos and documentation, this should be an open and shut case. Local problem solvers next on the list! The general public needs to be made aware of such blatant lack of responsibility on behalf of SAS Home Improvement. Terrible company! Beware! I would definitely look elsewhere when selecting a qualified roofing contractor.

They completed the project in record time, even fitting me in ahead of schedule, which was a huge relief considering spring rains were on their way. The crew was fantastic--professional, friendly, and respectful of my property. They communicated with me every step of the way, answering all my questions quickly and thoroughly, sending me photos of the work to assuage any concerns. It was clear that they take great pride in their work, and they left my yard in perfect condition, cleaning up meticulously after the job was done. One wrench in the project was that I had an invisible fence line that ran through multiple areas of excavation, and I knew there was no chance that line wasn't going to be cut. What really blew me away, was that Cristian went out and repaired the damage and the line works perfectly again; talk about above and beyond! A week later, the drainage system works perfectly, and my yard is shockingly dry considering the recent heavy rain. I highly recommend Hills Excavation for any complicated and muddy yard-related needs--they exceeded my expectations in every way and I'm glad I no longer feel like Shrek telling people to, "get out of my swamp!"

Juan, the owner and his entire crew were so friendly and professional and really take pride in their work. October 28,2024 was tear out day and November 1, 2024 was pouring the concrete day. Everything went as scheduled and looks really great and definitely added value and curb appeal to our home. We can't wait to get back out there and fill in the surrounding areas with dirt and grass seed and finally get to use our stored patio furnishings. I emailed Juan the owner of 4WAY cement twice now since pouring our driveway on 11/1/2024 regarding the concrete sealer. He said he was going to seal the new driveway on Tuesday 11/5/2024 and both my emails have gone unanswered and the driveway still not sealed as of 11/17/2024. I may be dropping a star or two if our driveway isn't sealed by month's end. Stay tuned!

I was getting water in my house/ceiling and they identified that as the problem. I'd gotten several quotes that were all over the place, theirs was in the middle, but I liked their thoroughness and they had other good reviews. My chimney had eroded because I had gotten a new high efficiency furnace and the company did not install a chimney liner. Art of Stone did an amazing job, the result was a beautiful looking chimney and a new cap on top. I've had zero problems with water since then. I then had someone else put in a chimney liner so the problem wouldn't re-occur. I would recommend.

Will and his crew were prompt, clean and courteous. Will showed me where our existing chimney was basically falling apart (yay old homes!), and explained how he could rebuild it using reclaimed brick that would match the original. He was very thorough in tracing the gas lines through the property to ensure there were no leaks anywhere, and getting gas restored to the fireplace. He also showed me where there were cracks on the fireplace refectory panels, and sealed them to prevent damage. His crew even vacuumed the gas logs so we weren't burning off dust when we lit the fire. Very highly recommend. We hope to use them in the spring to rebuild our chimney.
