Charges $125 to come give an estimate. No thanks! Maybe lead with that we won't need to have 10 minute phone call.

Please let people know the fee of 225 before they come out Good way of making money without doing anything Just give a outrageous price and collect on the fee read more

I didn't want to write this review because I still have a warranty I had work done with cregger plumbing in January this year the tech was very nice Tim but my kitchen faucet was leaking he said he couldn't take it apart so the service call just to look at it was $125 and he said that it would cost me $1,032 to replace the faucet so $125 would be taken off I had looked it up he won't tell me the original price of the faucet but It ran about $150 I also had a leak in my bathroom faucet he said he could not change the washer and the bathroom was going to be $788 he first put a bathroom faucet in but it was leaking on top he tried to silicone it and I thought for $788 it should fit so he went to home Depot and bought a bathroom faucet which I looked up was about $50 or $60, he didn't reduce the price from the original faucet that he put on I'm an older person and I feel like I was taking advantage of when I talked to my brothers they said that was completely outrageous price please do not use them I had used them in the past but I believe there's a new ownership that was unbelievable to pay all that money of $1820.00 for a kitchen and bathroom faucet. Also what I didn't like there was no prices on what the actual faucets cost I had to take a picture of the boxes to look them up read more

Overpriced. Tried to quote me at over triple the going rate for a water heater. Would not recommend.

They did a great job removing tree roots from my sewer pipe. I was getting other work done, and they were able to maneuver around the other workers to get their work done! read more

It was a very stressful situation and Cregger made it worse. The plumber was rude to me and I believe it was because I am a female. They overcharged me by 2000 dollars. The GM said they had to pay for their 85,000 trucks. I spoke with him today and told him that he did say that and on another review, he lied, and did say exactly what i quoted. I do not make things up. He said they spent 15 hours on my job, another lie. (suggesting they were looking for materials which somehow took an additional 10 hours) They spent 4 to 5 and did not even work the entire time. They are THIEVES. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS read more

this company used to be great. who ever bought and is running it now should be prosecuted. I'm a plumber that used to refer this company. even to the extent of them taking care of my mother's house. well this week my mother had a backup. she couldn't get a hold of me right away so she called Cregger. the so called tech came out and made a huge mess. Used a small cable to give my poor mom the sewer camera show. then to top it off charged her almost $700 and gave her a quote for $12,000.00 to repair the line. a job that if it actually was necessary should only had been $4000.00. I as a plumber was skeptical to say the least. I rented a sewer machine, properly cleaned the line and ran a camera. it was in excellent condition. I tried to call and make a complaint and my call was never returned. Cregger and company's like them prey on older people and rip them off at every opportunity. For someone that knew the old owners and worked there I am beyond dissatisfied and disappointed. negative stars.. read more

Horrible. Had a bathroom clog. Charged us $900 but refused to use an expandable cutter. Had another back up and now they are now trying to sell us new pipes for $2500. Not trustworthy. read more

Watch Out for Price Gouging Cregger Plumbing quoted me $1,600 to replace a kitchen faucet - a 15-minute job any honest plumber or handyman can do for a fraction of that. Absolutely predatory pricing. Get multiple quotes before you agree to anything with this company. Based on their reviews, this is already a known problem. read more

Sewer line was clogged. They were able to come out the next day. They used the power auger and found roots about 40' away from the house. Once it was cleared they ran a camera and showed me where all the roots are coming in. Friendly repairman who answered lots of questions I had (get your monies worth people, ask them questions!) It was steep at $423, but he gave me some top money saving advice. read more

I have used Cregger for a few years..they installed my Navien tankless-boiler combo, which unfortunately has needed service quite a few times since install (2022). This past Sunday (18th) I had no heat (not the first time after my install), called Cregger and was told the earliest appointment was Wednesday. With the current temps, I would consider this an emergency but again they had no one to work on the Navien unit. Told me they would call me first thing Monday to see if they could come sooner. Never heard from them on Monday or Tuesday. It is now Wednesday and haven't heard anything. I was able to find a company to take care of it and won't be going back to Cregger again. read more

We called Cregger's for a service call and they sent Colin out within an hour or less of our call. They were hyper communicative, letting us know when they were 30 minutes away; sent us a photo of Colin so we knew it was him when he arrived. They even made sure to follow instructions (I.e. knocking, since our doorbell is broken). Colin was professional and very knowledgeable; completing the service within less than an hour. He snaked a drain and advised possible next steps if there are future issues. Colin was very polite and answered all of our questions. We'd definitely use them again and highly recommend! Thanks Colin! read more

Very informative and fast. My issue was cheap due to parts being needed. However the problem was resolved in less than 3 hours.

The A/C for my home was not working when we started it up for the spring, but after I called Cregger, Paul came out and repaired my unit the same day I called! I appreciated Paul's speed, the cost of the service, and that he didn't try to upsell me and was instead able to repair the unit. 100% would recommend, these are true professionals. read more

'Twas Christmas Eve morning and all through the house, not a fluid was stirring, particularly any trying to get through our sewer. With a glimmer in his eye old St. Cregger appeared, with a snake and some gloves and abundant good cheer. Down the clean out he went with a WISH and a WHOOSH, till his snake hit a whatsit that just wouldn't push. Undeterred, old St. Cregger pulled back on his snake then loudly HO HO'd n'said, "This isn't great." He sat back for a minute to gather his strength, then dove down the clean out with the greatest of haste. We heard a big bang then a grumble or two, then back up he came with some goo and good news! Our blockage was gone though stubborn it was, 'twas no match for St. Cregger, his snake or his cause... Once again old St. Cregger this day did he save and we happy paid him with a credit card wave. So cheery and friendly, efficient and quick, call Cregger cuz I'm sure they're endorsed by St. Nick. But seriously though, Cregger saved Christmas. read more

Not very impressed at all.. Called them with a plumbing problem, they couldn't get someone to come out until the next day. Okay, fine not a big deal. I take the next day off work because they gave me a window of 12-5. Guy shows up the next day, show him the issue. He quotes me on that and then starts talking about another "issue" with another pipe, told him I wasn't worried about it at all being that it wasn't giving me an issue. Kept trying to push an issue with the other thing despite being told 3 times I'm not interested in doing the other thing. So he finally quotes me at over $500 to replace a 5 inch section of copper pipe that I initially needed replaced.. I almost would have done it, except that he said he couldn't replace the pipe today but instead was sending someone else TOMORROW. Good thing though, because it gave me an opportunity to find someone better who did the work that I needed done initially for $225! When I asked the new plumber about the issue that the other one was trying to push, he said no need to worry about it unless it breaks because if it were to have broke, it would have already have done so because the pipes are under a tremendous amount of pressure. When he asked who quoted me at over 500 for the job, he said he wasn't surprised as he's often the 2nd call people make after Cregger comes out. read more

They came, looked at our drain, and snaked it. They didn't find an issue but they said the pipe under our house could be failing...and just said to snake it yearly until it fails. Seemed like good advice and I liked that they had a camera to double check. They were very good and texting us ahead of time also. read more

I had a new furnace and AC installed last week. I was very impressed with the whole team, but Nick Bond in particular. They were professional, personable, and did a magnificent job of routing (and re-routing) my HVAC ducts. (I live in an old house, and it was an "octopus" of ducts going everywhere; it looked like a mistake!) Cregger came back a second day, and spent well over 12 hours on the install to do everything neatly and to code. They also re-located my AC to the side of my house and out of my garden. I highly recommend them. read more

Worst ever. $400 for 45 minutes to drain water from My boiler. Found bad expansion tank and valve. Was told I:would be contacted with date for repair. One week later, no contact. Creeger will continue to get my business. Asked for HVAC quote on kitchen remodel, customer service setting up appointment was professional, communication excellent! Technician arrived on time, coordinating with my property manager, provided reasonable quote, and offered to do the job on the spot. Requested plumbing quote for kitchen remodel. Again total professionals on all sides. I excepted their bid, technician completed the job on time on schedule. Creeger's investment in technology is on point. Their estimate and billing system makes life easier. The estimate was easy to read, and I understood what I was paying for. Their office staff is very professional and organized, appearing to use a centralized record system, so everyone knows the status of a job. This is huge, nothing more frustrating than calling a company and the person that knows about XYZ is not reachable. Cregger has figured this out. The real test of course is when something goes wrong. I had a small leak in the work they did, and they were very apologetic and responsive. The problem was resolved. read more

Had an unexpected plumbing issue that Cregger made super easy to schedule and solve. Will definitely call again when the time comes.

We have used Cregger for over 4 years, and we hired them after we fired another company. Scheduling is very easy, the people answering the phone are great. Our interactions with their plumbers has always gone very well. We have roots in our system and they need to come out about once a year to clear the line. I've had the pleasure of speaking with one of the owners, Greg who called me about a concern that I raised, and it was resolved to my satisfaction. These folks truly stand by their work. We have future work planned that will require the services of a plumber and we will give Cregger that business when it comes time. We appreciate the way the do business and trust them to do the work. Highly recommend! read more

Cregger is friendly and professional. They stand by their excellent work and customer service. Their estimates are accurate and there are no surprise fees. The worst service I have ever experienced. Charged $800 dollars for a snake. Told us to our face the issue would be resolved for the foreseeable future. The issue happened again the following day.
