A&E responded quickly on a Saturday morning to our plumbing issue. The highly skilled professional plumbers, John and Justin, were meticulous, customer oriented, and friendly. read more

I was in a bind and realized I needed a plumber at 3:00 on a Friday. I could not get my usual choices out that quick. A friend suggested Anytime, and they were able to come out. I didn't read any reviews until after I booked them. as you can see, there are some reviews that might make one wonder. I decided to trust my friend's recommendation and keep the appointment. The sent Donnie and Alex. I explained my worst fears about what I thought the problem could be. They inspected and snaked the main line out to the city run. They confirmed that it was in good shape and just needed some water jetting to knock out some larger root packs. They could have easily turned this job into a lot more and I would have gone right along with it and wrote a much bigger check. They were friendly, didn't seem rushed, and explained everything in detail. In fact, I am calling them again after I finish this review to have them do some other work I need done. read more

They will steal your parts under warranty and then ask you to pay them $500 for them! They know they will get reimbursed by the warranty company! What is the $500 for??? What a scam!!! read more

I am a handicapped senior and needed two separate toilets requiring flush valves, flappers and tank levers replaced. I was told they would be here between 12-5p. I was ready at noon and waited until 6pm. (At 3, I called to make sure I was indeed on the project list and was told the tech was in new baltimore; approx 10 minutes from me, and that I was the next stop.) No call; no show. WTH. If they didn't want to take a small job, they should not have scheduled the appt. what a scam!!! read more

Came right out on a Saturday when I called. Was able to get a job completed right before a Holiday. Stephen was professional, courteous and prompt. I appreciated doing business with him. Definitely recommend. read more

Had bathroom drain unclogged. I agreed to the price of $189.95 but when the bill was presented there was an additional charge of $20.00 for "Fuel". This additional charge was not what we agreed too prior to the work starting nor was it discussed at anytime prior to them giving me the bill. The work order no. was 31133. read more

asked for a quote in an email to avoid service call charge and asked them to email me price. They emailed me a reasonable price quickly and were out in a couple of days to fix a leaky shower drain. They found it didn't need replacing, just re sealing and tightening. Charged much less than the quoted job. To do the quoted job they wanted $250, 2 other plumbers quoted me $400. First plumber I have ever used that I would call again read more

These guys were awesome! During our bathroom remodel last year we called Anytime to help us with the plumbing. We (they) ended up changing out all our homes' plumbing. Roughed it it then came back to do the finish work once our tile was done. They did a fantastic job, were very curtious (also funny), on time and reasonably priced. We highly recommend! read more

If I could leave a negative star rating, I would. When we had a flood in our basement, we called this company and were told that the clean up cost would start at $450--after the plumber started working our quote went up to $2500. Yikes! Now we get that people have different plumbing needs and different sized basements, and therefore pricing is going to vary, but $2500 isn't even sort of close to $450; a more accurate picture of what it generally costs would have been nice. My mother called the company back to get clarification on why there was such a difference in price, and the woman she spoke to was exceedingly, unnecessarily rude, saying that she'd told my mom that $450 would just be a starting point, and actually started yelling at my mother. Completely unacceptable. Bottom line: they were not as clear as they should have been with the pricing, and their attitudes/treatment of us only made this process that much more unpleasant and stressful. Dear A&E Anytime Plumbing, If you don't have the wherewithal, the understanding, heck, the customer service skills, to deal with people when they're going through a stressful experience, when they're being told that a majority of their items will have to be thrown out, then you're in the wrong business. Please get better training for your employees, or maybe just some new employees. read more

We called Anytime plumbing and they came out the same day. Sam fixed the problem right away. Very professional and nice. He gave us advice on how to prevent the problem from happening again. We will definitely call anytime plumbing and ask for Sam next time. read more

The short story is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The long story is as follows. In mid-March, I noticed a leak in one of my bathrooms as well as an issue with the hot water in a different bathroom. After trying a few things myself, I was pressed for time and contacted Anytime Plumbing to come to my house in Southfield. My technician was John G and he seemed to be a pretty nice guy, although I questioned his assessments. He started with the hot water issue in the back bathroom. The shower would get warm-ish at best. There would be one burst of hot water and then showering would be absolutely miserable. John decided that a part had gone bad inside the on-off/warm-cold handle in my shower. He didn't have the part, so he went somewhere to get it, came back, and installed it. No hot water. His assessment was that I needed a new hot water heater because my current hot water heater "runs out of water fast." That's a quote from my receipt. I had an instant hot water heater. There was no reservoir full of water to "run out." Still, I agreed that the water heater was failing. My belief all along was that the water heater needed replacing, but John wanted to try this other part. He tried and it didn't work. That happens sometimes, so we went to the next issue. Moving on to the leaking bathroom. John came in and decided he knew the leak was coming from a knob on my old jacuzzi tub that controlled the jets. Now, this knob was located in an area that was hit by water when both the bath spout and the shower head were on. However, the leak happened only when the shower head was on. I addressed this concern with John--why would this be the leaking area when two sources of water hit it and only one led to leaking? His idea was that the water pressure was harder from the shower head than from the spout. I disagreed, but I let him do his thing because he's the plumber and I'm not. Anyway, based on the location of the knob, he had to cut a hole in the bedroom wall on the other side of the tub for access. Not a big deal to me. He needed to be able to visualize the plumbing. So he started chiseling at my wall and then decided he didn't like that location. Then he measured the area he wanted to cut and marked it all out with a pencil ("I will clean this off the wall when I'm done," he said). He cut a 7"x7" hole in my wall and believed he identified the leak. He put some lock-tight around the knob, slapped an access panel in the hole, and called the job complete. We couldn't confirm the leak was resolved for 24 hours because it needed time to set. Guess what the charge was--$425. Yup, I paid $425 to have a new access panel cut into my wall, a $95 part replaced that didn't need replacing, and some lock-tight squeezed around a knob. Not to mention the access panel wall also had a nice quarter-sized hole randomly in the middle where he initially started chiseling as well as pencil marks everywhere like a toddler had been playing. John G never did clean it off as he said he would and now I have drywall work to do. I also paid for the part for the shower that I didn't need and the time it took him to go get the part [that I didn't need]. Had I known I'd be paying for the part even if it didn't work OR the time it took him to drive and get it, I never would have let him do it. When I inspected the shower as he left, the part was actually installed incorrectly--so you couldn't even adjust the heat to the hotter setting! It was on the coldest setting when he tested to see if the new part brought hotter water! Worse yet, the leak continued 24 hours later when I tested it. John G did say I could call and have him come back if it continued to leak, but there was no way I was letting him back into my house. So, for $425 to address a leak and cold water, I was left with a leak and cold water. On a positive note, John G did quote me $1,100 for a new hot water heater installation. That's a fair price. Still, $425 is nearly half that and this company was not getting any further business from me. They shouldn't get yours either. read more

****see also Any time Plumbing--same company*** we used this company on a semi-emergency basis on our rental property when our regular technician was unavailable. the technician that went out there seemed very nice and knowledgeable. there was a secondary issue that was more cosmetic than anything that he informed us of. we decided against it and told the technician that we would have our regular plumber handle it. our regular technician went out to take care of the secondary issue and informed us that the parts that the technician from Anytime Plumbing replaced were old parts (we were informed that they were new by the technician) and that the first problem that was claimed to be fixed by the first technician was already happening again! my plumber ended up fixing both issues. when we called Anytime to discuss our plumbers findings, the woman who answered the phone was more than rude, she kept putting my husband on hold for whatever reason. after the last time being put on hold, she informed my husband that "the owner doesn't have time to deal with this right now and we would get a full refund within a couple of weeks". you bet i am going to watching my account that was charged for a refund. if no refund is given within two weeks, we will be calling again! very disappointing especially since the technician "seemed" to be very nice! read more

I am not a big fan of leaving message but I did and A&E Pluming promptly called back. My call was returned promptly. They say 24 hrs service and I guess they mean it. They came out on the same day of my call, a Saturday at that, and got the job done. Ben looked over the job and got right to it. I was concerned that there would be slow dragging of the feet since it was billed by the hour but not at all, nice and steady work. I am impressed with the work and professionalism. Our change to a gas stove from an electric stove is complete and we are ready to rock. It is nice to go back to gas after so many years of electric. Thanks A&E, well done! read more

I LOVE Anytime Plumbing. Our plumbing problems always seem to occur on the weekend or holiday, and we've had several non-emergency blockages in the last few months. They have always come out the same day, or the next day if I called and did the job. They evaluated why we were having so many blockages by running a camera down our main line, and recommended hydro-washing due to excessive buildup and lots of eggshells that didn't make it out to our septic tank. (We've lived here 38 years and never had the pipes hydro-washed) We had that done, and encountered another blockage later in the month. They came out within hours, snaked it and they didn't charge me for clearing that one - they also used the camera again to discover that part of the pipe in the main line had deterioriated. We're waiting before we have that taken care of, but they agreed to credit us the full cost of the hydrowashing when we finally get that done. The technicians are always polite and take the time to explain the problem and make suggestions to prevent future problems. Highly recommend them! read more

I used anytime plumbing to replace a hot water tank in one of my rehab properties. They were on time, quick and the price was right. They even removed the old tank and disposed of it for me. If you're looking for a reliable plumbing company, I'd recommend giving them a call. read more

This company SUCKS. Had them come out to replace a bathroom faucet that was leaking and John G. came out. What an ahole. Told him I didn't want a new popup but ahole decides to put a new one in without telling me - you got it - a big leak under my sink as well as new faucet leaking. They came back out several hours later (2 guys this time and told me John G. didn't tighten a nut tight enough). They left and yes - it started leaking under my sink again. The new faucet still leaks but they didn't "see it." WTF??? Gonna sue these aholes for lost time at work as well as stop payment on my credit card and the cost of another plumber to fix what they fked up. Hope these aholes rot in hell. read more
