REVISED REVIEW: About two months ago, I posted glowing reviews of Premier Roofing because that was honestly my experience at the time. I think it's only fair to share my complete experience. My project started very well. Erik was knowledgeable, professional, and responsive throughout the sales process. He answered my questions and gave me confidence that any issues would be addressed. Unfortunately, after installation several problems developed. The flat roof around my screen door was installed in a way that prevented the door from opening properly, and an initial repair created a gap that allowed rain and bugs inside. Roofing membrane also remained exposed, permanently damaging my family's nearly 70-year-old American flag. Despite being told the property had been magnetically swept, my gardener later filled a bucket with roofing nails and debris left in my landscaping. Most frustrating of all was the lack of communication as these issues remained unresolved. UPDATE: Once owner Keith Powers became personally involved, everything changed. He personally inspected the project, sent his A-Team to correct the problems, and made sure the doorway was rebuilt properly, sealed correctly, and even returned to adjust the screen door until it fit perfectly. He also came up with a thoughtful solution for my damaged family flag by installing a flagpole and presenting me with a beautiful new American flag, preventing future damage from the roofing membrane. No construction project is perfect. What matters is how a company responds when problems arise. While I wish the issues had been handled sooner, Keith Powers ultimately stood behind his work, corrected every concern at no additional cost, and earned back my confidence. Great service, quality Owens Corning products, quality workmanship, prompt, punctual, and professional. From the initial contact to the final payment, Steve oversaw every detail and patiently answered every single question...I had a lot. After receiving roof damage during a storm, the damage was swiftly assessed, the insurance company was contacted and the insurance paperwork was promptly processed, materials were ordered and delivered, the dumpster was ordered and delivered, and the permit was secured. The crew showed up early in the morning and worked all day until the job was finished...around 7:00p.m. It was a very long day for the crew but when they left, the roof was beautiful and not a scrap or nail was left behind. Premier took over and literally did everything for me. My part? I made a phone call to Premier Roofing and Renovations, selected the shingles and then the color. This is the company...look no further. Easy, helpful, friendly, reasonable. Steve put a roof on my brother's house about 10 years ago, my father's house about 7 years ago, and now my own house. My experience with this company is more positive than the previous reviews. As an out of state home buyer, I needed a contact in Michigan to take care of several areas of repair. Just a note for all of you reading this....Keith gave himself and company a 5 star review on here. It's against Yelp standards of ETHICS to try and falsely inflate a rating for a company that you work for...let alone OWN! Very shady. Thank God Yelp removed his review and put in the purgatory pile of "reviews not used" on Yelp. Read it though...it's hilarious! this letter is to serve as a consumer warning and complaint regarding premier renovations and storm solutions. there were two insurance claims processed through state farm ins. one was for wind damage and the other for a water claim, both on different dates relatively close. i am the land contract holder of the property where these claims were made. due to the house becoming unlivable after they did not complete the job and after months of complaining and trying to negotiate with premier construction, i was forced to take back the land contract and resell it at a huge loss. insurance claim dollars for water lost that premier collected: $20,274.11 took place in kitchen. all cabinets, countertops, sink, applicances, and floor removed and never replaced! or repaired! insurance claim dollars for wind loss: premier collected $15,253.00 which was for new shingled roof, which i had received previous quotes for $9300.00, premier was 50% more. plus they said they used the kitchen money to finish the roof job. they got me i'm sorry to say, as i presigned insurance checks. after months of lies from them and trying to get some results i have been forced to seek legal action. they refuse to finish the job and state farm doesn't feel it's their job to intervene. all i really want is the kitchen back and the monies lost for selling a house in shambiles. please email me with any questions: randystephens@comcast.net. read more

Only picked one star because I had to. It should be negative stars. Premier Roofing of Fraser kept calling and harassing me. When I blocked their number they came to my home and threatened me. I mail them a letter canceling the contract they pressed me to sign within 3 days of signing it and I verbally told their sale guy Jason as well as sent him an email. Even after all of this they still harassed me. There were many red flags with this company. The first being, they asked me for the full payment up front, but did not want to schedule a start date. Second, my friend/co worker sign her full insurance check over to them in September 2021 and as of December of 2021 no work has been started on her home. The third, I spoke to AAA worker and found out this company is under investigation. Stay clear of this company. read more

I called Premier to have someone come look at my roof when I noticed shingles missing the morning after a wind storm. This is the second time I have used them to replace my roof. I moved recently. Anyways they sent out Keith who I was told was one of the owners, he inspected my roof and had my insurance company out the next day. After the inspection they came down and told me they were going to replace my roof. With in two days the material and crew arrived and had my roof finished the same day. Worst contractor ever. Keith is a horrible communicator and is incredibly arrogant, never shows up on time and doesnt return phone calls. Very evasive and seems shady. They outsourced my insurance replacemwnt of my roof to a crew of hacks who couldnt properly install flashing under my upstairs bungalo window so my ceiling has leaked ever since. Called multiple times and left messages to have them repair it only to be ignored. Avoid this company at all costs. Use ANYONE else! read more

I had a person out to check on my roof and I asked for a receipt and did not get one. He said he didnt have any with him. The inspection took only about 20 min. with a large Victorian home I found this disturbing. I wanted the receipt because I am selling my home and I wanted it for the new buyers. Premier Renovations is the most complicated Contractor I have ever worked with. They have done our Roof and the whole Issue started more than Year ago when we meet them at a trade show. I cannot remember one single appointment they have shown up in time. Most appointments were canceled by them by just not showing up without informing us. However after several Month they started to renew our roof... And disappeared after a few hours. They crew told us that Material is missing. The new Crew arriving a few Days later was able to finish the roof without new supplies. We had many discussions with them mostly because they haven't shown up as promised but also other things like they didn't remount a downspout they have unmounted or that water was coming into our sunroom because they didn't clean the gutter. We even found an empty drinking bottle in the gutter one Day. We had a big Issue with our skylight as it was leaking. After some escalation we ask the City Inspector for help and he confirmed that the leak is a result of bad workmanship. At the end Premier Renovations has re-done the flat roof and sent us a check to handle the damage of our ceiling by our self. read more

Truth be told had if I read the reviews on here prior I probably would not have contacted Premier. They were referred to me by a friend after my wife and I had a roof leak and water issue. We reached out to them late in the evening at 1130pm and they answered!. A crew was at my home in just over an hour and they went to work. My roof was tarped to stop the water, fans and dryers were placed and they went to work. They were in and out in and hour or so and were back early the next day. The Owner, his project manager and their crew were incredibly professional and respectful to my property and family. The company handled my insurance claim and I got back more than I ever knew was damaged. They founf water in the walls, under the floors, etc. That said my wife and I were very impressed by the response and attention to detail and were very pleased that they were sent our way. After reviewing these other reviews I am left wondering if its the same company or if these reviews are by competitors because it certainly wasn't the experience we received. Stop!! trust me you do not want to go with this company. The owner is rude and cocky. He had an employee come out to our house and look at roof. Nice guy but really really pushy. When i was asked to sign a piece of paper i asked for what? he said to talk with your insurance provider. As i started to read it it wrote the homeowner. i said i'm not the homeowner. salesman said oh its OK. Well, it was a paper that they are claiming is a contract. Look at it it states in 2 different areas this is not a binding contract unless both parties agree! Well, the owner Keith Powers didn't like the fact we were getting other quotes and started harassing me,my husband and then my FATHER!! yes, that's write a family member who has nothing to do with my home or my finances. Keith was tell him well, if you don't tell your daughter how she signed this paper and i will put a lien on her home if she doesn't us us etc.You are entitled to as many quotes as want to get! Premier never agreed to our insurance amount, in fact they called back to our insurance company without us knowing to get more money. Claim they forgot to add stuff. NO! they did not want to except what our amount was!This company scams insurances and takes the money that you the homeowner should get! Not only that but higher the claim higher your insurance will go up. Think they care? Nope, all about that dollar and not about a working man! Please they haven't finished the roof on a relatives home either, its been over 7 months! When they did the job they did not seal and finish it right so the customers bathroom flooded in a rain storm.!! This is fact people it was my dads home!Another example of take all the case and not even finish the job. Lauren at Premier said April 21 " please remove all your negative comments from review sites. We will be removing lien and you should be receiving something in the mail in about 2 weeks. I replied will it be removed as if it were never placed? Lauren "YES". Well, STILL WAITING!!! I filed with the BBB, which they have been dropped from because of complaints and such. Also i am waiting on the LARA to inform me if they are doing an investigation.
