We did have an issue with a section of roof shingles and a chimney flashing that weren't installed correctly at first but was later corrected 8 weeks later. It took a long time to get someone back out here to correct the issue. I was disappointed that the owner didn't respond to me directly however a company rep did help us in the end and everything was resolved. Glass block windows were installed for the basement and turned out great! The install time was only a few hours. The basement gets a lot more natural light now. New Gutters transformed the house made a big difference. Took a few hours for the contractor to install. The windows were installed in a day with 2 installers completing the job. We had an issue with a marble window sill cracking after the install. We were able to resolve the issue with the installer finding an almost identical sill which turned out to be a better fit. Very happy with the end result. Our energy bills have already gone down compared to the previous year. Large home projects can be difficult. Home owners must understand that there can and will be bumps in the road with any project. We were very happy and impressed in the end. The value of our home has gone way up since the appraisal. Gutters were in poor shape, downspouts inadequate, lots of leaves from nearby trees...the works. All told, he gives a quote to replace three sections, get the downspouts flowing away from the house, and clean/install leaf guards on all. Call in to put down a deposit but I can't get on the schedule for a few weeks. Fast forward to the day of. The crew leader shows me a drawing he was provided of the house and is basically asking me to confirm the work/spots he has. I have a good idea of it, but doesn't make me feel comfortable. In the end, he asks if they can come back tomorrow because they don't have the right ladder for the taller back of the house. I say fine. The next day, it's raining early (app't at 9). I assume they aren't coming right then but still had to call in to confirm - still coming but pushed back to 11. Jennifer also tells me they could have come back for the ladder and done the job yesterday but it wasn't presented to me as an option. 11 comes...11:30...12...after speaking to a backup phone person who was rude to me, I finally get ahold of Jennifer again. She's extremely apologetic for both the delay and the other person who answered the phone. Once the workers arrived, they got right down to it and did a really nice job. Adjusted one section I pointed out when walking around and came back the next morning to install a downspout extension they didn't have the previous day. What I was not happy with, aside from the communication between crew/hub/myself, was all the nails and brackets all over the property from the removal of the old sections. Jennifer was once again understanding and apologetic when I called to pay off the balance and even offered to send someone out for cleanup. I declined as I think I got it all...was moreso sharing feedback as it was some sloppy bs. In sum, I'm happy with the actual work that was performed so I think I'd call 3G for other projects to at least get a quote. There is room for improvement in some areas but the company was understanding and receptive to feedback.
