I don't think I can say enough good things about this company! Greg and his partner (I want to call him Mike, but idk) did the side lights on my front door and my basement window. The two gentlemen were friendly and efficient. They even fixed a problem they discovered with my front door. I honestly had no clue how loud demolition was until that day!!!! I was included throughout the process. They described everything to me and asked me if I'd be okay with the changes they needed to make. They also explained structural changes and deficits I needed to know about. They broke a lot of glass but dutifully cleaned up every mess they made. It was almost like they weren't there! The only thing I had to do was dust mop because of the particles that flew off of the wood. Easy peasy. He talked me through some initial measurements and provided a quote that was EXTREMELY reasonable, and easily beat out other quotes I received. Block windows are all these guys do, and it shows in the quality and speed of their work. Gregg and his partner showed up a few minutes early for the installation arrival window, and within moments of arriving, they began removing the sad old basement windows. They worked fast, AND took the time to clean up after themselves, which I greatly appreciated. They also removed an improperly installed bathroom window and replaced it with a gorgeous block window that really uplifts the space. I replaced a garage window and 5 basement windows. Gregg explained and showed me my choices of block. He said the one I picked (ice) would give me more light than than the plain glass window I had in there. I didn't believe it because I couldn't understand that....but I went with him because I figured he's done this enough. He was absolutely right. I don't even have to turn on the light in the garage during the day anymore. His work in cementing around the block was perfect and completely smooth. He said I could paint it to match the garage wall once it dried but I haven't done that because it looks so nice smooth. So I was in the basement, working out and I noticed that we had some plants from the garden growing in through a basement window. News flash, plants should not grow into your basement through your windows. Glass block has been something on our to-do list since we bought our house 15 years ago and despite getting 2 quotes in the past, we never got around to pulling the trigger on that project. Fast forward to two weeks ago when I noticed the aforementioned rogue foliage and all of a sudden this project jumped to the top of the to do list. Being an avid Yelper, I did a little search and found Glass Block Concepts. I was on the phone with the owner in a hot minute and after snapping off a couple of pictures of my project, I had a quote, and a good one at that. Beat the previous quoted we had received and so this time I actually pulled the trigger. We scheduled a install date and everything was a go. The day of install, I got a call from the owner and he asked if they could come earlier then we had planned. I am working remotely so it made no difference to me. They showed up, got right to work and in about 2 hours I had 5 new glass block basement windows and a new glass block window in my garage. They cleaned up, I paid them and off the went into the sunset. Well not really because it was like 1 in the afternoon and they said something about getting some lunch. My only complaint is that they swept up and dumped it into my garbage can without a bag. My garbage cans are pretty new and clean and now one of them isn't. But it is a garbage can and there is where garbage goes so I guess I just have to find something to complain about. But I would have been more than happy to get them a bag had they asked. The windows look great, the price was under budget and I don't have any more plants growing in the basement. The end. read more

These guys did a wonderful job installing my new glass block windows. We had water coming into the basement underneath the old windows. Lots of water!!!! They came over, VERY cleanly took out the old window and put in a new one with a new window sill. It didn't rain for a week but when it did, it was heavy. NO WATER in the basement at all!!!!
