My husband got a few quotes and based on the customer service he experienced, the price quoted, and also that it is a smaller family-based local company, we chose Sparks and Sommer. We had the insulation done in late summer/early fall. I was the one home when they came by and got a good education on the upgrade. A small team was brought which included the dad and son and a couple others. They were quick and thorough and took me through everything before and after completion. So the real test was when we lost power this winter from the ice storm. We were down for a few days, and the house never seemed to get that cold really. When power finally came back on, it clocked in at 51*, which seemed to be pretty good compared with some of my friends that lost power. Very happy with the results and the service.

Instead of replacing all the windows around the house like all the window selling people are telling us, Rob offered to fix the windows for a much better pricing. We are so happy with the result we asked them to remodel our three bathrooms. Again, their quote was better than the other 8 companies we compared with. Their timing and flexibility was better as well! Throughout the process of bathroom remodeling, they were extremely helpful, accommodating and easy to work with. From picking tiles and helping us with the pickup (usually pretty expensive), to going out of their ways to seal cracks for us on the wall and hanging paintings for my mom. They even offered to walk my dog when they were working with us. They are excellent at what they do. See images for the before and after of the bathrooms. We love our 3 bathrooms now. They were able to accommodate everything we asked them too. Including changing old electric outlets, adding a shower in the guest bathroom, and switching the vent to a heated vent. They even helped to fix my kitchen sink that a plumber failed after trying for 3 days! They are also honest people. I did notice a cracked window and Rob immediately ordered a new one and covered the cost. So they do honor their warranty on their work.
