Best company I have ever worked with for home improvements. They called to let me know one of the doors had small damage and would re-order. So 2 of the 3 doors were able to be completed. He was on time, the nicest person I've ever met. He did the entire job himself in less the 5 hours and cleaned up the mess he made so perfectly that you never would have known we had work done. If you look at my profile, you'll see that it is extremely rare for me to give one-star reviews and I don't even give a lot of 2-star reviews. My policy is usually "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." However, our experience with Taylor Door was SO terrible, I felt I needed to review it and warn others. We were looking to have a door to our three-seasons room replaced and a pet door installed. My husband traded emails and phone calls with one of the staff. He came out, measured the door, took the pet door we'd bought with him and said he'd call the next day to confirm prices and give us more details. A week went by, and we realized we'd never gotten that call. My husband emailed. A day or two later, I left a phone message. At this point, we weren't upset, just puzzled, wondering if something had gone wrong or if there had been a miscommunication. Over the next month, we emailed another time and left a couple of messages with the receptionist, but we received nothing but radio silence. We didn't want the work DONE ASAP, you understand - we just wanted an update telling us what was going on. If they'd called us back and explained there was a problem, we would have understood. Finally, my husband got so upset that he called and left a message saying it was the last time he would call, that he was cancelling the order and wanted his pet door back. He said the next call they received on this matter would be a call from our lawyer. The next day, we were left a phone message that they'd packaged up the pet door and were sending it back via UPS. No explanation was ever offered for why we'd never heard back from the original staff member we talked to. I like to support Mom n Pop places, but this experience left a REALLY bad taste in our mouths. read more

Needing a new garage door, we called this local business in my neighborhood setting up an appointment for a quote. We were given a 2 hour window... and waited the full 2 hours before calling after hearing nothing. We were told that the rep was "just finishing up on the job" before me and would be there in 30 minutes. I explained that this was not a "job," but a quotation and was told, "Yeah..." ther rep showed up an hour late (strike one) . We greeted him wearing masks; he did not wear a mask (strike two). He measured and measured, explained this and that, and said that it would probably be about $1200 (I was already told on the phone when I set up thre appointment that it was going to be about $1100). But, he failed to provide a quote because, "they'll get back to you with that after I give them the measurements." It's 2 days... no quote... we hired a different local company yesterday. I thought this a poor representation of future services. read more

I had high hopes for this company, but unfortunately that's where it ended. Called and scheduled an estimate for garage door, 3 storm doors & 1 entry door. The sales person came out on Friday, June 19 and was very polite. He said that I would receive an email estimate on Monday, June 22,2020 due to COVID-19. I called Wednesday, June 24, 2020 when I had not received anything. I was told he was in the office working on estimates and would receive it today. It is now Thursday, July 2, 2020. Still no estimate. This is not good business practice at all. Why send out a salesperson if you never plan to follow up? Even with COVID-19 delays it should not take almost two weeks to provide a written estimate. I guess they don't need the business. read more

They came out to replace the broken garage door spring on the same day and while at my home, I inquired about the cables and bottom strip that was also taken care all at a reasonable cost. The installer is a professional worked to get it done as well as the customer service on the phone. Very impressive and good job. read more

We were impressed with Taylor Door Company from the time we walked into the door. Darren was able to answer all of our questions and set up a prompt appointment for an in-home estimate. Brad came to the house and explained everything we needed to know to allow us to make a good decision about our entry door. Our install was especially challenging, but the expert installers made it look easy. They were very professional and did an excellent job cleaning up after the job was completed. Our new doorway is absolutely beautiful and we were very happy with the overall experience. We would definitely recommend you call Taylor Door for your estimate. Take it from me, choose Taylor Door Centerline. I shopped all around town and they had the best selection and the best price for the door (and installation) I needed. But the biggest thing is their outstanding customer service. The people at Taylor Door Centerline are excellent. They kept me informed and followed up regularly.. When I had an issue with the door (due to a manufacturing defect), they made sure that the door was replaced (at no additional charge) and that I was totally satisfied. Service man showed up 1 hr 10 minutes late - had to call twice to get a status. "Rose" stated they forgot to the load the door the night before and then left with the wrong door. She was not apologetic or customer service oriented at all. Wouldnt recommend them at all. Best to spend your money somewhere that appreciates the customer and will recognize they should call if they are going to be so late. read more

I called Taylor Door to see if they could install a Craftsman Garage door opener that my kids gave me for Christmas. I figured give the local business the work, rather than paying the high installation prices at Sears. I have dealt with Taylor before, and was even going to call them in the spring for windows. Well I was told that they will not install the garage door opener if I did not purchase it there. I understand that they can't warranty something that was not purchased by them, but I figured they wouldn't want to turn down a customer. Now I am giving Sears my business for the installation, and will contact another company for my windows. read more
