Today was the second time I've called M&M Garage Doors to help me with my garage door. First time was for the spring and today was for the garage door opener that I broke the gear off that moves the chain. For the big spring thing, they were here and gone within an hour and came the same day I called. I can't recall who our technician was. Mike was our technician today and he is incredibly nice. He explained that it really wasn't my fault that the gear broke and that is probably the most common call they get. I thought for sure he was going to come today and say "Yep, it's broken and can't be fixed and I can come back next week and install a new one once we get one shipped to us." Nope, he had multiple different garage door openers right on his truck! I was so happy! It's a total pain not being able to easily get in and out of your garage. He showed me my options on his table with the prices right there including installation. I picked the one I wanted. He had everything done in 2.5 hours! The new opener is fantastic! It's soooo quiet and smooth. It has the MyQ feature already installed and it has an in garage camera! The light on this opener is fantastic as well! It's nice and bright and the in garage button has a sensor on it that automatically turns the light on! I can't wait to play around with the MyQ app. Our garage door is almost 20 years old and has definitely seen better days. I was talking to Mike about it and he had catalogs with him too! I'm happy to have them because when we're ready to replace our garage door, I know we're calling M&M Garage Doors and that they will have the door I want and have experience installing the doors from the manufacturer. And I will definitely ask if Mike Wist can do the job because he's so nice, friendly and knowledgeable! read more

I contacted M and M for a broken garage spring. I would give "100 Stars" if I could. This company is one of the most professional, accommodating and helpful that I have ever worked with. From scheduling the appointment, which only took 1-day to get someone out, until the completion of my repair. My technician, Mike Wist, was the best. He arrived on time and ready to help. He explained everything he was going to do after offering me 3 separate pricing plans for the repair. He did a full inspection of the garage and did not attempt to steer my choices. He was great! He even changed out some additional wires for no charge, unlike the prwvious company who had co.e out and qhoted me a additiona 155.00 for what Mike did for free. Amazing customer service. My new garage door was scheduled for installation on Thursday September 27 2018. I bought this door through Costco, which has an reputation for customer satisfaction and Costco did not let me down. Anthony and Brian showed up actually earlier than the allotted time. Anthony called me in advance and wanted to know if they could come earlier than planned. I was completely receptive to that. I have met many installers that I could describe as professional over the years. Anthony and Brian took that to a new level. The door installation went smoothly. There were, however, some issues with installing the opener. My garage needed some beam modifications. Anthony offered to come back on the following Saturday and finish the installation. He showed up as promised and now I have a perfect garage door that I am very proud of. Kudos to M&M Garage Doors and kudos to Costco for finding the ultimate in professional installers. My garage door had some age challenges; springs and bearings were weak and the door was a bit difficult to open by hand I contacted M&M after reading their social media reviews and gave them a call. My technician Karsin Markwardt from M&M Garage Doors, arrived on time, he was pleasant and professional. Karsin's quality of work and attention to detail was remarkable. I had to call M&M Garage Doors late Saturday morning to fix garage door after a cable came off and bent the track. They showed up a couple hours before the window of the appointment time that they gave me. They sent Jullian Edwards to my home and he was a very nice person. He was educated in garage doors and fixed the issue in about an hour saving me a couple thousand dollars. I have an old system, I'm a licensed electrician of 40 years and Jullian was a great mechanic. I'll be calling M&M back because I'm going to be replacing my old garage door and motor this fall. To my surprise, they came out the same day. My door was an old school set up, with the springs on each side. One of them broke. They were able to convert it to the new safer style (spring above the door when closed) in about an hour. Alex was prompt, professional and efficient. He took the time to explain my options and the difference between them. I can't really speak on price. Outside of a completely new door, I needed probably the most expensive parts. However, I don't feel the price was terrible. Was still much cheaper than a full replacement. In the end, I'm pleased with the outcome. The door works perfectly and comes up evenly. read more

I love the work and craftsmanship of M&M Garage Door. I signed a contract with them and there were no surprises. They had to add materials due to my garage having a steel header...no additional charge. They had to install a low overhead track system....no charge. They lowered and re-hung my garage door opener...no charge. Big box installers such as Lowes and Home Depot was charging additional cost for each of these items. The workers arrived on time finished early and did a thorough cleanup of the garage. M&M was out to my home in Rochester Hills about 4 years ago when my door came off the track. They were out in a day and had it working again. Fast forward to this year when one of my cables came off and the door was lopsided afterward. I called them as they left a big sticker on the inside of the door from the last service call. I made an appointment for the next day and Alex showed up and had it working properly in about 30 minutes for the price of the service call. Fast and courteous service. At 8 AM I heard a loud pop and found that the springs on my double garage door had broken. I found M&M Garage Door on google and gave them a call. They were local and made an appointment for 4-6 PM. One of the springs on my garage door broke which caused it to be a semi-emergency. My great customer service started with someone available to answer the phone at 5:30 am. The representative was very courteous and understood the urgency and scheduled an appointment for the same day.
