I changed providers and that one suggesting trying different formulas and wasn't making sense or listening to me when I said we had already tried cutting out allergens. I was also concerned because my baby was bruising easily and quite pale, and I was severely anemic at the time of delivery, I thought maybe she was too. They kept refusing to draw blood and then they finally did and told me "hemoglobin is within normal range". I didn't believe them and asked for the number. 9.0. I ended up utilizing some online resources that suggested my baby 1- had silent reflux or GERD, and 2- was definitely anemic as hemoglobin of 9.0 is not normal. We ended up changing to the Park West location and I really had to twist the doctor's arm to prescribe my baby famotidine or omeprazole as a trial. That doctor became nasty with me and said "if you're willing to chance the side effects then fine". My baby was in severe pain, not sleeping and losing her voice. The famotidine prescription changed her life. She was no longer in pain and turned into a happy baby. Additionally WIC suggested enfamil AR - pleasant peds never mentioned this - and that helped immensely as well, plus the anemia subsided. At our final visit the doctor suggested we allow our baby to scream and cry inconsolably for a night or two to make her sleep thru the night and told us not to feed her until morning even if she wakes to eat. She was an infant at the time. We walked away and never looked back.

As always, Araceli greeted us warmly and asked how we were doing. Mysty always has a huge smile and warm greeting, and today - she had some hair tricks (Thanks, Mysty!). We were told that the usual provider was not in today - what we were not told was that the ABSOLUTE best provider ever was about to walk into the exam room. Kristen Buchanan was like a breath of fresh air. For the first time when meeting with the provider, my granddaughter did not cry at all. She had a few tears later in the visit when she was given her shots. Even then, she only cried for a few minutes then calmed down. Kristen was so very kind and knowledgeable. She provided much needed information to my daughter for the next stages in eating, language and physical development. Safe to say, my daughter and granddaughter were completely at ease and had the best visit ever! Thank you, Kristen, Mysty and Araceli for making today so wonderful. 1 year check-up and shots are no joke! We so appreciate the kindness and great care that you all provide. Before…read moreDr. Gabe, I dreaded the 20-minute drive each way to the pediatrician's office, the additional 20 minutes spent in the waiting room with a bunch of other sick kids who probably had a different strain of sickness that we would all likely catch, and then the 15-minute wait in the exam room for the doctor to come in for a brief 5-minute diagnosis. The time savings are amazing. Not to mention, when Dr. Gabe comes to your home, your kids are so much more comfortable and truly act like themselves. Dr. Gabe has truly changed the game by offering his services.

0 STARS!!!…read more Absolutely disgusted by the way this pediatric office treated my best friend after she literally JUST gave birth. A woman who was FIVE DAYS POSTPARTUM called to schedule her newborn daughter's first appointment and instead of compassion, professionalism, or basic human decency, she was interrogated and invalidated because she's married to a woman. After explaining that she and her wife are BOTH the baby's mothers, she was repeatedly placed on hold and then told she would need "permission" from her wife to bring HER OWN CHILD to appointments or consent to medical care. They even told her adoption paperwork would eventually be required -- despite the fact that she carried and delivered this baby herself and BOTH parents are legally listed on the birth certificate. Imagine being hormonal, exhausted, physically recovering from childbirth, trying to take care of your newborn, and having a medical office basically tell you that you aren't recognized as your child's real parent. It is ignorant. It is discriminatory. It is unacceptable. No family should ever be treated this way, especially by people working in healthcare. LGBTQ+ families deserve the same respect and recognition as everyone else, and the fact that this office made a new mother cry during one of the most vulnerable moments of her life is beyond unprofessional. Do better. Train your staff. Learn the law. And stop traumatizing new parents.

She is absolutely lovely and our favorite thing about this doctors office is how caring, Dr Bansal is, and she is just one of those people that are like friends of the family. I am a single mother of three and if I have one kid there being seen, she always ask about my other children. She always remembers what my kids and I tell her what they're interested in. That alone shows she truly cares. This is her practice, there is no other doctors here doesn't matter how busy she is. She always tries to fit you in that day. One day she was fully booked but she said just come in we can squeeze you in between somewhere. Like I said, she's the only one there so she shows up everyday for her patients. Talk about dedication. Now let me talk about her staff. Have you been to an office where you were like, "I loved the like doctor, but the staff was rude or slow etc", not them. The front desk is always very nice, and tries everything they can to put you on the schedule. They always have a warm and welcoming approach w patients. We changed to this office about five years ago and I have never regretted that choice plus there are five minutes from my house right next to arrowhead Hospital so it's easy to get to hope this helps

My husband and I recently had to take our newborn son to Dr. Janik because he was born tongue tied…read more Dr. Janik was referred to us by our pediatrician as he specializes in pediatric surgery. He came highly recommended so we weren't surprised when we visited his office and found him to be very knowledgeable and ready to do the procedure on the spot. Not only was Dr. Janik knowledgeable and professional, his staff were all very kind ladies with great personalities as well. As far as the procedure, with the help of a fellow doctor, they were able to do a quick snip and fix our son's tongue tie problem in a matter of minutes. (and in their office instead of the hospital) Although the baby cried slightly, the procedure was a breeze and we were out of the office almost as quickly as we arrived. I would highly recommend Dr. Janik for anyone looking for a general and thoracic, pediatric surgeon.
