Sarah's is pretty good! The service is nice and pretty fast, the food however I would say could be better but the bakery items are wonderful and the coffee is delicious! The feel of the place is kind of an upscale midwest cafe, although there isn't much seating so I might recommend getting takeout! read more

I'll start with this is not my first time at Sarah's but we are always greeted by a rude older hostess/server and today takes the cakes for rudeness. I was with my girlfriend and it was 1pm. Upon entry we were greeted by the older hostess/server that she can't seat us because the waitlist is full and they close at 2pm. Mind you there were a few empty tables and nobody else waiting to be seated. After we walked out the front door we saw that a couple at the bar were leaving right behind us so we immediately turned around thinking bar seating was open and first come first serve seating. Apparently we were horribly mistaken because the older hostess/server found us and said it was her table as well and that we couldn't sit there. I could clearly tell they didn't want to be there working any longer but that's no excuse to treat people the way they did. At that point I'm done with this place...obviously to me they just didn't want our business today for whatever weird reason and I'm happy to spend my money where I feel welcomed. We zipped on over to Freestyle Brewing where we had a delightful experience and greeted with happy smiles this Sunday afternoon. read more

First time I've been to a Sarah's shop. I've had Sarah's Wedding Cake before (which is some of the best cake I've ever had before by the way) but I've never had actual food, like lunch, before. This was my first time visiting the Eureka location. The shop was super cute and decorated very nice. We ordered at the counter, then sat at a table we chose. I ordered the Caesar Chicken Wrap that came with a side of my choice, which was potato salad. My order came to me no longer than 5 minutes. The wrap was greatly portioned, I became full after eating half of it! The potato salad was surprisingly good; normally I can never seem to find good potato salad at a restaurant. The wrap itself has a lot of grilled chicken, salad, croutons, cheese, and of course, caesar. Overall it was a yummy experience, and was a great choice for Sunday lunch! read more

Cute atmosphere and great decor. The service is super average and very inconsistent. I went on a slow Wednesday and could not get the server to take away any dirty plates or glasses. The young man was super sweet but just not properly trained. The place needs a positive force behind this business to bring up the overall quality. Well slap some piggies and call them bacon!!! This place is awesome. From the ambience to the food and desserts. To start off right when you walk in you are surrounded by a quaint beautiful shop, with music from the simpler time playing in the background. The smells of fresh baked treats over load you sense of smell. My nose was so happy it cried! My daughter and I enjoyed awesome tasting macaroons. We had lavender, Carmel and strawberry and one massive cinnamon roll. Holy guacamole it was unbelievable. I know this review is short but my words cannot do it justice. Absolutely delicious! We ordered the candied bacon and biscuits flight appetizers. Great small bites that tasted great. Homemade jelly was great. For our meals we had chicken and waffles and kicked up chicken and waffles. The regular was good. Perfect waffle, chicken was ok. The kicked up version had a cornbread waffle with corn and jalapeño. So flavorful! Just be prepared it is pretty spicy. Well worth the visit. We will return for sure! read more

I ordered a mix of cupcakes on short notice for pickup. The ordering process was easy, I paid over the phone and cupcakes were ready upon arrival. I received very detailed instructions on how to carry the large boxes, how to transport and refrigeration needs if serving the next day. Upon gifting the cupcakes the recipient was more than pleased. We stopped in for breakfast before heading to Six Flags and so glad we did! Staff was super friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. We had a cinnamon roll, the breakfast sandwich, biscuits and gravy, avocado toast and Belgian waffle. Everything was fantastic! I'm torn bc I want to love this place but I just don't. I love the idea of Sarah's. I love the location. I love the farmhouse decor and cutesy coffee cups. However, I'm not down with the customer service at times nor food. The food is either stellar or stale. Portion size drastically varies on certain dishes, such as my favorite which is the Carnitas Hash. I was told this is just the way it is, depends on who is cooking in the kitchen, which I find to be a subpar response. If you don't play your cards right, the breakfast burrito will have old eggs and be wrapped in a stale tortilla. We had to feed a lot of our take out order last weekend to the dogs as it was just gross. We have ordered this dish countless times and it was great so we always thought it to be a safe bet. Not anymore. The Carnitas Hash I got to go was the smallest portion to date. I hate having to play roulette with my breakfast. I love the savory and herbaceous flavors of the Carnitas Hash but not to the extent of receiving a portion size suitable for a child. This isn't the first time this has happened. Whether in the restaurant or take out. The bakery is decent. Cute cakes but there isn't much flavor to them. We bought six differently flavored cupcakes last weekend and they were very bland. I like the texture of the buttercream frosting. Their chewy cookie I had also purchased was over cooked to a point where it was crispy and not chewy whatsoever. My bf bought me a cute cake from there which was moist but lacked in flavor. So I mean, 3 stars is not worth the price in my opinion. I have also had smoothies there. My last smoothie had so much unblended ice in it that it was not drinkable. Another one was gritty. I decided to just stop ordering them. Only advice I can give is to not get your hopes up. You'll either have a great experience or be disappointed. Just sharing my experiences- we've been here countless times both take away and dine-in. read more

The staff was very friendly and inviting. We got the truffle fries and the chicken sandwich which were amazing, and met with some friends. It was not too loud so it was good for conversations. The bakery selection was pretty good, but we're already out of a couple of things at 11am. But the few desserts I got for the table were delicious! I would recommend this place to anyone driving by Eureka! I want to try their brunch soon! read more

Fantastic baked goods, a full bar, nice lunch/breakfast menu, and coffee drinks! My family and I are building a house up the road and come almost every weekend to check on the progress. We consistently get lunch at Sarah's and have been working our way through the menu. It definitely deserves 5 stars, but do read the menu thoroughly. I bit into my Buffalo Chicken wrap--a food I have had many, many times at places all over the country--and I was baffled/repulsed by a mouthful of black olives. This is the only place in the US that puts black olives on buffalo chicken. I will just order it without from now on, no big deal, but you should please change this. Stumbled on this place when I was in town for something else... had no idea it's a relative of Sarah's Cupcakes on Clarkson Road in Chesterfield, which I already love. I resisted adding dessert this time but I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad wrap and it was delicious!!! Completely rude staff member. I came to the door and asked where I could sit with my 3 children before I brought them in. I then went and got my children. I wore a mask in and to my table and took it off. Our server approached our table with water and said they have the right to refuse service to us. I was shocked. For what I ask?? I had 3 children with me under the age of 9. She then said no one saw me with a mask on when I walked in. How incredibly rude to cause such a scene with my 3 kids.
