Loved coming here for a quick lunch hour! They got my gel mani and gel pedi done so quick and so well! They knew just the right amount of pressure with speed and handled me with care. I love the cozy vibes - it was clean and they listened to me when I wanted my pedicure done a certain way. I'll definitely come back when I'm in a pinch and only have my lunch hour to do a manipedi! Their price point was fair enough for me - $102 for gel manicure and gel pedicure with old gel pedicure nail polish removal. read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for about three months now and while they do a solid job with basic manicures and pedicures, I've consistently had issues whenever I request nail designs or anything more detailed. I always try to clearly explain the style I'm looking for, but during busy hours it often feels like my requests are dismissed rather than the technicians helping me find the closest available option. At times, I felt awkward trying to figure out what was possible on my own while the technician simply watched instead of assisting me. At my last visit, the Gel-X application felt especially rushed. There was excess glue left around my nails which looked messy and unprofessional. While the final design was nice, it ultimately was not what I had originally asked for. When I expressed disappointment prior to leaving, the technician later explained there had been a language barrier. However, this was never communicated during the time of service. Instead, I was repeatedly told "no" to the options I asked about. Afterward, I reviewed the salon's website and realized they actually did offer the exact style I wanted. What made me especially uncomfortable, though, was that the technician put their hands in my hair without asking first. That completely crossed a personal boundary and felt very disrespectful. Overall, I think this salon is fine for simple services, but if you're looking for detailed nail art or a more attentive customer experience, you may leave feeling frustrated. read more

Solid experience! I came for a gel removal and gel manicure with french tips, and made a last minute appointment the day before. The removal was $5, gel manicure $42, french tip $15, and different colors $5, totaling $67 (plus tip). It's pretty affordable compared to other spots in the city! I think level of art they can do really depends on the nail tech you get; they're quite detailed and gentle. Overall I'm satisfied, and would come back! read more

I love how my cats eye nails turned out!!! they look so clean, polished, and elevated The almond shape really elongates my fingers and makes my hands look more elegant. The brown cat-eye effect is subtle but still catches the light beautifully, giving that soft, velvety shimmer without being too much. read more

I had a great experience at Sarah Nails Spa today. I requested for Thy for gel x extensions after reading the reviews on Yelp and I believe Cam did my pedicure. Both ladies were lovely and very articulate with my nail shapes and cutting my cuticles. It's right in Hayes Valley so it's super convenient to get to! You can book via their website or easily call them. Will def be visiting again. :) read more

I made an appointment and requested hard gel nails. Thy did my service, she's the only one who does the hard gel. She was quick and efficient. I left the salon within an hour and a half. This is a very no frills salon as there isn't much going on and it's very small but the work they did is phenomenal and they are attentive. read more

I just moved and started going to Sarah's for gel x. My nails were in pretty brutal shape from years of acrylics and after a nail break, they revived them. They take their time and always give me exactly what I want. They are super expensive though but my nails last 4 weeks. They follow it up with a hand massage and have candy on the way out. I lay $90 for long gel x fill with pink & white French tip. read more

I found Sarah Nails Spa online and love the ease of booking an appt online! I just needed a mani and pedi with no color, easy enough! I was told 30 mins for both. The massage chair was really relaxing as I was enjoying Netflix. I had 2 ladies on work my mani & pedi and before you know it, it was done. I enjoyed the quick service, the hot creamy lotion, the hot towels and hot stone massage as well! Nice nail clean up! I was given a reward card as well. Every 8th visit, you get a free regular manicure. So glad I found this little spa and will be back! read more

I came in on Tuesday 1/13. They did a good job with the shape and the french tips, but I don't think I will come again. I left with a bunch of cuts around my nails from the filing and they hurt. (Btw the cut in the pic from afar isn't from them, just the cuts near the nails) read more

Technicians rude. Cramped space. Unorganized. Nails looked marginal. They need to get their act together.

Thy is great! She did an amazing job on my gel-x with design (the pink cat eye). She always helps me decide what looks best and is super detail oriented. I've been a Sarah Nail Spa client for a little over 2 yrs and definetely recommend their services. Thy and Lily are great on gel-x and designs! read more

Unfortunately, the technician cut one of my cuticles too short and it was bleeding. I don't recommend this place.

Sad to write this review. I came here to get my wedding nails done, French tip with chrome mani and pearl white pedi. The customer service was friendly and normal, but the pedi was so bad -- each toenail was a different shape and length and even the boss had to tell her to do another coat and fix the polish but I was being polite and cared more about my mani. For my mani, the chrome was chipping off that next morning on most of the nails. I called and she said to come in to fix it, and when I did she rushed and was very short with me. I left with my nails having drips on the tips and underside of my nails, and less than one week later the chrome is chipping again. I paid $130 plus 20% tip and will not be coming back. read more

This is my second time getting gel-x extension at this location and the quality and service stayed consistent. I requested for Thy both times and she did not disappoint! I highly recommend to call and make a res. Soak off + gel-x took a little under two hours so plan accordingly! Thy truly took the time and was gentle with my nails. They take all forms of payment and you can also tip them with Venmo. Will definitely come back! read more

To the owner: You can stop editing your comments, I saw all your rude responses. Again, I said "half of my fingers are bleeding", even you feel unbelievable right? That just means you don't know your business. ======================== Updated =========================== DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! This place is dirty, unprofessional, and the staff is incredibly rude. Half of my toes and fingers were BLEEDING after getting a basic manicure and pedicure with gel polish! 1. The towels are filthy and reek of a bad odor. They reuse them for different clients' feet, which is absolutely disgusting. 2. I didn't see them sterilize the tools with UV light, which is extremely unhygienic and concerning. I'm genuinely worried about the potential health risks. 3. I had to repeat my color choice three times, and even asked why it looked different when it was first applied. The most ridiculous part? After finishing my five toes, the technician suddenly said, "wrong color," and then proceeded to grind off all the polish and start over--without even apologizing! 4. The staff barely speaks English, making communication nearly impossible. Instead of trying to understand, they just yelled at me in words I couldn't understand. When I asked them to write it down, they responded by rolling their eyes at me. LAST BUT NOT LEAST! Half of my toes and fingers were BLEEDING!!!! This place is a nightmare--avoid it at all costs! read more

I've been coming here for about 3 years! This place is truly my go-to salon. Thy and Lily have been doing my dip powder manicures and they are phenomenal - always efficient and precise. I was happy with my gel pedicure. The ladies were nice and while the shop is small there was plenty of space. I was charged $52 for gel pedicure with removal of gel that was already there. This was higher than the prices listed on their website (website says $45 gel pedicure and $4 to remove gel with a service) but I felt the price was reasonable for the location, quality of work, friendliness of staff, and cleanliness of the shop. I paid using Venmo. They have the QR codes for each team member printed and posted to the wall by the register. You scan one QR code to pay for your service and then scan a different QR code to leave your tip directly to the nail tech. I would definitely come back for a gel pedicure. read more

My friend and I came in as a walk in after we had a miscommunication with nearby nail salon. We wanted simple designs and were able to walk in with no problem! Quality: 3 Decor: 3 Service: 4 Came here with a large party for mani-pedis. It was a large group of women with me and another man. They were completely packed when we arrived, so I had to wait almost 30 minutes before I could get started. As my first mani pedi, I was excited about the overall experience, but not sure if I would return. Combo Manicure & Pedicure $50 3/5. I started with the pedicure first, sitting the massage chair while soaking my feet in the warm water. Everything was going pretty well, until I felt a sharp pain from the nail technician accidentally cutting my left toe, causing it to bleed. She put on some ointment which stemmed the bleeding a bit, but it still stinged. Manicure was better, opting for no coat for both hands and feet. Service was friendly, and I would have given this place 4 stars had it not been for the injury. read more

I get my pedicures here for sake of convenience near my apt and cost on same plane as every other shop in the city. $1 per min of extra massage, too DO NOT come here expecting timeliness, but if you aren't in a rush & nearby - I recommend. Making an appt will maybe get you out the door at an expected time, but eh... my recommendation is to not be in a rush It is a small shop with 3 pedicure/massage chairs and 3-4 arm chairs for manicures. If you want a mani and a massage chair, this is not the place for you. They do have TONS of polish options, and they do the dip manicures, as well (I've only gotten pedicures and one mani to hold me over until I could see my regular manicurist for gel--I only trust her with my hands ) read more

Edit: I went in and they fixed the nails for free to make it out. I've been a couple of times but this last time, I got a gel manicure and two fingers chipped pretty badly within 48 hours. Male nail tech made me cry! Long story short, he misunderstood my request to remove what I had & I wanted a simple gel manicure (natural) i did not want acrylic. He cut all my nails & when I asked why he did that, he said "I'll make it look natural". I explained what I wanted (no acrylics, I didn't like when they look bulky. He proceeded to still glue nails on, he just kept them short & called those "natural" & said it would be free Im crying a bit at this point. He left hella bumps & I was STILL going to tip for his time, & he ended up charging me!! I was very unhappy but I was going to argue with him. read more
