Caitlyn is an amazing nail tech and I think I've found my new go-to nail spot in the city! I normally find getting my nails done such a waste of time especially if I want to do gel-x extensions because most places I've been to take at least 2-2.5 hours (not even exaggerating, it seriously takes forever!) but I was in/out of my appointment with Caitlyn in like 1.5 hours max (pretty sure it only took an hour and like 15 minutes, which is so amazing!). She's able to look at an inspo photo and know exactly what colors to recommend and I've seen her do designs on my friends/sister and they all look really good too! In fact, I've even shown one of my sister's nail photos done by Caitlyn as inspo at other salons in the past XD Another plus is this place is very well-priced for San Francisco!! I did a gel-x set today with chrome on top and it came out to be $80, which is soo good. I'm so in love with my nails and cannot wait to go back for all my future manis/pedis! read more

I don't typically leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience because it's been genuinely frustrating. I came in with hard gel that had been filled a couple of times, so I understood my nails might not be at their absolute strongest afterward, but during removal the electric file was used so aggressively that I could actually feel burning while my nails were being filed. I understand that can sometimes happen and at the time didn't say anything - I should have mentioned it was uncomfortable so that's on me. Since the appointment, my nails have been extremely thin, weak, and painful. They're sensitive to pressure and everyday activities, which has never happened to me to this extent before. It's been almost a month and they're still incredibly weak. I just don't think they're a good option if you're looking for something other than a standard mani and pedi. read more

Sad to have to write this review as the salon is pretty, in my neighborhood and the service was kind and friendly. But my gel nails did not survive even a week :-( I take really good care of my nails and so I didn't want to have them filed too much but they said without it the nails wouldn't last as long so I said okay file however will make them last the longest . But after 2 days a nail broke and after 4 two of the nails chipped. At day 6 they are now all off :-( especially sad because I got them done for a trip so I wouldn't have to worry about my nails on the trip and now I am in that exact situation. So I decided to give it a try and booked an appointment for Thursday afternoon. I waited a little over 20 mins past my scheduled appointment but it was fine since there was another client finishing up before me. I showed one of the nail tech, Caitlyn (I believe) a picture of what I wanted and she was able to recreate the design I wanted; left picture (mine) right picture (reference). I asked for Apres gel-x extensions ($65) + french tips ($15) + designs on all ten nails which came out to a total of $95! Through out the whole service, she asked for my opinion on whether I liked it or not and fixed any mistakes up when I wasn't satisfied with it! I love this nail salon! I found it super randomly about over a year ago when it had no reviews. From the first time i ever visited the salon i knew i would continue coming back. I always come here to get a gel mani pedi which is around $85 or to get my brows waxed and they're always super quick i go in and out within an hour, but today for the first time i tried out gel x and loved how they came out i got exactly what i had asked for. I love the way Caitlyn and Jean take care of me while i'm there all employees are super nice and great at what they do I have realized tho that every time i come in customers are super needy and give them a hard time but they do they're best to accommodate them. when I first moved to SF I had the worst time trying to find a good salon. A friend brought me here and I had a great first experience, and they are so good at nail designs! I then started coming every 3-4 weeks to do gel X (a little spendy but SO worth it). Caitlyn is simply the best and so are all the other ladies. I would come with a inspo photo and they would execute it perfectly every single time. They are kind, welcoming, hardworking and so talented! It started to feel like my home away from home! I came on a day my nail tech claimed was a "busy" day. There was one other person and me the entire 2 hours I was there. Apparently, because they were so "busy", she didn't care enough to do my design right and rushed through it. It looked like a child's imitation of the photo I provided. The Gelx placement was also unnaturally bubbly and improperly placed and they cut the nails into different shapes and sizes. Usually, I wouldn't care much but I have seen their IG page and they clearly took great care with all the other designs. Not only that, they regularly post their client's photos but clearly mine didn't make the cut which further reinforces the fact that she didn't care to do my design properly. To add insult to injury, I understood the things they were saying about me but they didn't think I spoke the language-- the words exchanged were not nice. Oh and the set was a whopping $110 including tip for a horribly done, rushed design. Save your $$$ and your nails and go somewhere else. read more

I really liked this place at first because it was small and Homie and the women that work there are nice and at first of a good job on my nails, last time however, when I got my nails done they did my extensions a bit wonky and they were misshapen, however I could tell the woman doing my nails was stressed and I didn't want to over stress her more so I just kind of let it go. Later on I went to get waxed and they absolutely massacred my face and tore skin off of my lip. They did apologize and give me a refund and I'll give them credit for that, however they said it would not scar and weeks later there is still a mark on my face and I am still very unhappy. I wonder if these people even have a license to do what they do because it seems like when it comes to waxing they don't know what they're doing, and they don't always get the shape of your nails right. read more

I only go to CC's for it all! After moving to NobHill last year, I needed a new nail salon. I am a block away from CC's so I decided to try it out and I am so glad I did! Caitlin is my GIRL! She is always on par with the trends. I trust her with my life! After establishing a relationship, there have been days I would come in and tell her: "You can do whatever you want with my nails" lol and she would always come up with the best and cutest ideas. sooo after the first time here, I decided to give them a second chance because it was convenient when I was in SF for work! I will not be returning! customer service was fine at first until you ask the nail tech to fix anything that you don't find acceptable!! I got the hard gel fill in, they made the nails so thick and bulky! uneven etc and when I asked them to fix it, here comes the attitude!! rude! second visit, I asked for a matte polish , also one of the pictures was on their own website so didn't think it would be a problem. when she painted it matte, I could see all of the brush strokes and it just wasn't well done, she then tried to convince me that is how matte polish looks as if I have never seen it before! I'm attaching the photo from website! the polish job I got did not look like that! I had them redo it as a gloss and they reluctantLy did it but for 60 dollars I expect it to be good quality. also got a pedicure! the worst, they didn't soak my feet or anything! just washed them off after cutting and filing my toe nail. NOT a spa pedicure experience as was charged. overall never going back, you should skip it read more

My first time here was this past week, I went in as a walk in and they took me immediately. While I was getting my nails done, multiple people came in and they were also taken, which is fine except instead of telling the other customers to wait there were two techs running between multiple clients. The job felt very rushed and It felt like they wanted me out of there-so I didn't get a thoughtful/thorough set. My nails came out okay, I got acrylic extensions and they are set a little too far from my cuticle as if ive been growing them out for 2 weeks already.
