My first time going, Nina did my nails and did an excellent job so I go to her every time I go back! I'm really nitpicky about the shape and thickness, usually after going to other nail salons I end up having to fix the shape myself but have never had to so after Nina does my nails which is pretty impressive to me. Nina has also been really accommodating when I ask to adjust my shape or color mid-appointment. I'm sure that could be annoying to nail techs but she's never made me feel like it is. My friend and I came into Spectrum Nails for gel manicures and didn't love our time here -- all the workers seem stressed out and impatient during our manicures, and while I understood with it being the end of the day, it wasn't the best experience. My manicurist seemed to be rushing through my manicure so she could finish her day. This place is great! I came here for a pedicure with a friend who got a pedicure and gel manicure. Everything turned out perfectly. They were also really accommodating with our appointment time because we were supposed to be there at 1pm, but called at 12pm to get our appointment pushed back by 30 minutes. Another thing that I like about the staff here is that they are so helpful when it comes to picking a color! I had a few different colors picked out for my pedicure and based on my polish on my hands, they helped me pick the perfect color for my toes. My friend also had a certain pearl white gel picked out for her manicure, and they suggested a slightly different one that turned out to be gorgeous! They told me no one "told them" about my appointment even though I booked through their Square site and got 3 confirmation and reminder texts about it in the 48 hours before.
