    Spicy Miso Ramen

Being from Los Angeles, I am used to authentic Asian food. My mom (who is from Japan) and I were very pleased with the ramen we ordered. It is true Japanese style ramen, not Asian fusion like almost every other place in Oslo. If you are craving Japanese ramen (or good Asian tasting food), you need to come here for your fix.

Coming from America, we did not expect to have great ramen here. The people who work here are super nice and helpful (speak perfect English). Comfy and quiet area to sit where you can relax and there is a ton of room. The noodles are AMAZING! Some of the best I've ever had. We had the spicy fried chicken ramen and it was perfect. A lot of flavor in the broth and not too spicy. Would definitely come back during the next visit to Oslo!

They have three different ramen menu, Shoyu, Miso, and Spicy. You can order Japanese kyoja (dumplings), kimchi or marinated gress salat additionally. They also sell small sushi and Japanese take-away boxes. I ordered a shoyu ramen which was pretty good but don't expect it to be top notch. Great food for 125 nok though. The restaurant has enough space for sitting. Recommended for lunch or take-away.

Really excited about trying the first real ramen restaurant in Norway. I had low expectations, but the food was really good, and it is authentic Japanese ramen. I tried the spicy miso ramen, and liked it a lot. Just hoping they will make tonkotsu ramen in the future.

    Looks ok but tasteless!

So far the ones that we have tried are the shoyu, miso and spicy variants of the ramen.

A bowl of pho is like $20 but that seems to be about the going rate in Europe. Beware this place can get super packed during peak hours so try to plan around that. Otherwise, I'd say this place is actually pretty good!

We were seated quickly and had time to look at the menu before ordering. My fiancé ordered the Pho bo (beef) and I ordered the pho ga (chicken). It's a little different from the usual pho we order because they include meatballs in pho bo (which normally would be a separate type of order) and the pho ga had marinated chicken. The broth was light and savory, with much of the flavor coming from the meat. It was so flavorful!! We also ordered the summer roll, a usual appetizer everywhere we go, which was packed well and had eggs and a tiny egg roll! I haven't had it like this anywhere else (not even back at home). It was also a great dish to start with before the main dish! The place can get pretty crowded but every time we've gone in we have been lucky to beat the dinner and lunch rush.
