Awesome place and great food. Both flavor and texture were really good. I will definitely return for more.

Good food, quick service, and modern atmosphere. This hit the apot on a cold day of museum hopping. I wish we had something as good at home!

As traditional a Japanese Ramen-ya as one will find in Scandinavia Koie Ramen's second location is conveniently located near the Munch museum in Bjørvika, indoor and outside seating allowing guests to enjoy a casual meal in one of Oslo's most popular areas. Known for making both Soups and Noodles on-site daily, an open kitchen giving would-be diners a look at the process, Koie utilizes local Ingredients as much as possible while still attempting to remain authentic. Sparsely decorated with a concise menu, Edamame as one might expect while Gyoza with Chicken eats well inside delicate wrapping, Koie's Tonkotsu is creamy with medium saltiness while Shoyu is packed with Soy and better allows the texture of Noodles with light chew to share the spotlight.

Very popular, a bit of a queue but not bad at all. The food was excellent. Loved the dumplings, very tasty.

The broth was a bit salty for my liking. Noodles were perfect, the size, the texture and firmness of the noodle was just how I like it. The meat was tender and melted in your mouth, the boiled egg yoke was overcooked. I like it when it's still soft. Gyoza was mostly meat, no veggies. Wouldn't order them again as I like my gyoza with more veggie and less meat. Service was quick. Parking is indoors, which is very advantageous for the cold months. Take the elevator up and you don't need to go outside! They share space with an Indian restaurant. There is a coat hanger and it's spacious. I would definitely come back here.

I like the texture of the ramen, tastes quite authentic, not the "make-believe" ones you get from most non-Japanese restaurants here in Norway. The ambience is rather quiet, but I wouldn't say its kids friendly or good for large groups of people. We ordered the spicy ramen (mostly likely spicy miso ramen, since the broth base is miso) and Tangi ramen, which has two pieces of fried chicken on top,m. However, the soup-base for the tangi didn't quite hit the spot for me. The price is average, around $15-$20 per bowl, which is a decent price in Oslo. Overall I like it and would come back again.

A bowl of pho is like $20 but that seems to be about the going rate in Europe. Beware this place can get super packed during peak hours so try to plan around that. We were seated quickly and had time to look at the menu before ordering. My fiancé ordered the Pho bo (beef) and I ordered the pho ga (chicken). It's a little different from the usual pho we order because they include meatballs in pho bo (which normally would be a separate type of order) and the pho ga had marinated chicken. The broth was light and savory, with much of the flavor coming from the meat. It was so flavorful!! We also ordered the summer roll, a usual appetizer everywhere we go, which was packed well and had eggs and a tiny egg roll! I haven't had it like this anywhere else (not even back at home). It was also a great dish to start with before the main dish! The place can get pretty crowded but every time we've gone in we have been lucky to beat the dinner and lunch rush.
