Everything was very flavorful and very good! Appetizers were all very good and the ramen was so rich and the noodles were nice and chewy! Place was small so it was a little loud but it was alright.

After 9 days in Norway our group was craving for spicy food and soup, so we came to this place right after we pulled into Oslo. Even for 4:30pm, this place was already super packed so it's definitely one of the local's favorites. We ordered a dish of Karaage to share, and I ordered the Tantanmen and my friend ordered a bowl oftonkatsu ramen. My Tantanmen really hit the spot for my spicy broth craving. However, aside from the richness of the broth itself, it was a bit too buttery to my preference. Otherwise the noodle and egg were both cooked to a nice consistency. The establishment itself isn't spacious and a line soon emerged outside the store after we got seated. The service efficient and courteous despite the small setting, so overall it was a cozy vibe.

I didn't expect to discover the best ramen on a trip to Norway. This is a hole in wall, but expect to wait! The servers are so busy, sometimes the line becomes disorganized. Buttttt, it's worth the wait, this is probably the best karage I ever had. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and not overly crunchy with just the right amount of dough. It was so good, we came two times in the three days we were in Oslo.

This was a very nice meal on a chilly day. Eggs and toppings were perfect. Broth was great consistency and nice but not the best I've had. I'd come back if in the area but wouldn't go out of my way. Glad to have had this option of food in Oslo.

Seriously good ramen! We ended up here after a long day exploring Oslo and were excited to have some Ramen to warm up. The place has a lot of seating and they use it well. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the various kinds of Ramen to help you decide if needed. I got the Tantanmen and my wife got the Mazemen. Both have a little spiciness but very good. The cool thing about the Mazemen is that it doesn't have a broth and just uses one egg yolk to make it a little creamy which is a completely different experience and makes all the flavors pop! The tantanmen was very good as well and I enjoyed the flavor and heat from the chilis. Definitely try this place out if you are looking for an inexpensive and good meal.

DRINKS: Nice beer on tap. Chilled nicely. SERVICE: Nice wait staff DECOR/ATMOSPHERE: Minimalist Japanese style FOOD/PRICE: Ramen broth was not piping hot. It was lukewarm. Japanese in me says that is just a no no. Karaage (fried chicken) was very soggy. I saw many people ordering it and coming out all at the same time. They must have put too many pieces in the oil all at once. They use interesting spices to it. Nice job on the creativity.

Growing up with noodles and japanese culture I've always had a facination of japanese cuisine. The food is very good! Great flavors and different consistencies! Though I highly recommend tonkakatsu (pork broth) with extra noddles, egg and pork. Maybe a sidedish of karaage chicken. Super full. Polite and cheerful staff who bring water to the table. There is a reason why people are queuing up. Worth a try! PS my wife recommends the matcha cold tea.

We ate shouyu ra-men, miso ra-men, and karaage (fried chicken). Cha-syu (pork) in syouu ra-men wasn't tasty at all. I took just two bites and didn't want to eat more. Nitamago (boiled egg) was very tasty. Karaage wasn't fried enough, well it''s edible without being sick. I didn't dare to eat so much. A few personals tasted them before they served karaage to us. Personalen var jättetrevlig!!

The broth was a bit salty for my liking. Noodles were perfect, the size, the texture and firmness of the noodle was just how I like it. The meat was tender and melted in your mouth, the boiled egg yoke was overcooked. I like it when it's still soft. Gyoza was mostly meat, no veggies. Wouldn't order them again as I like my gyoza with more veggie and less meat. Service was quick. Parking is indoors, which is very advantageous for the cold months. Take the elevator up and you don't need to go outside! They share space with an Indian restaurant. There is a coat hanger and it's spacious. I would definitely come back here.

I like the texture of the ramen, tastes quite authentic, not the "make-believe" ones you get from most non-Japanese restaurants here in Norway. The ambience is rather quiet, but I wouldn't say its kids friendly or good for large groups of people. We ordered the spicy ramen (mostly likely spicy miso ramen, since the broth base is miso) and Tangi ramen, which has two pieces of fried chicken on top,m. However, the soup-base for the tangi didn't quite hit the spot for me. The price is average, around $15-$20 per bowl, which is a decent price in Oslo. Overall I like it and would come back again.

A bowl of pho is like $20 but that seems to be about the going rate in Europe. Beware this place can get super packed during peak hours so try to plan around that. We were seated quickly and had time to look at the menu before ordering. My fiancé ordered the Pho bo (beef) and I ordered the pho ga (chicken). It's a little different from the usual pho we order because they include meatballs in pho bo (which normally would be a separate type of order) and the pho ga had marinated chicken. The broth was light and savory, with much of the flavor coming from the meat. It was so flavorful!! We also ordered the summer roll, a usual appetizer everywhere we go, which was packed well and had eggs and a tiny egg roll! I haven't had it like this anywhere else (not even back at home). It was also a great dish to start with before the main dish! The place can get pretty crowded but every time we've gone in we have been lucky to beat the dinner and lunch rush.
