It is a very small lounge and there is a good chance you will not be allowed entry if your a Priority Pass member. The sign outside door states they are only taking Chase Sapphire Reserve card holders. read more

Great little spot. Food is more of a grab and go small plates. The selection is limited, but the taste was on point. Compare to Centurion Lounge, Saph does not have as much selection. Amex +1 The Full bar without limitation, unlike Centurion where I can only get a certain liquor or mimosa in the AM. Chase +1 Staff: Both lounges staffs are very attentive so Chase = Amex. Ambience & Location: Seems less packed vs Centurion. Most likely because it's newer and on the other side of the terminal, which is great as I don't have to run across if short on time. Less packed than Centurion which is a plus but they seems to be a bit smaller as well. read more

Disappointed with Chase, they created a cramp uncomfortable space with cold food. Not only were the eggs cold in the small food area but the warm airstream food seems to have the same two breakfast choices as usual. Trying to work through the small food area is always like a shuffling act in a crowded freeway. Not a recommended respite as there only a few comfortable sitting areas and bathrooms are limited. Chase could have done better. read more

Silverware needed restocked. No napkins anywhere. Cappuccino machine broken. And when you let an employee know about these things - they say " we will let someone know ". Well - they didn't ! The employees should have a better understanding of how much the Chase Sapphire costs annually ! We pay for good food and good service. This is a sub par lounge at best. Get it together PHX ! read more

Don't even bother! The staff is rude and misleading. We were told to get on the waitlist, but they never informed us that Priority Pass members would have to wait for other types of cardholders to be admitted first. They kept claiming the wait was less than 10 minutes. When I approached them after waiting over 20 minutes, they finally told me they couldn't give a timeline. It was a total waste of our time, and honestly, based on other reviews, it's not worth it! read more

Been to many lounges around the world and they can check you in with a quick scan of the boarding pass. Many questions here and they want a reservation too. That's fine if it was top shelf. Maybe the bar is the draw, certainly the bartender is delightful ( he's also the only place you can get a glass of water). The food, if there is any left is poor quality and not feeling fresh. I've never been able to get a cappuccino: either the machine isn't working or they have run out of milk. Tables are cleared quickly. But the check in folks do not welcome the customers who pay their salaries, they question us like we are trying to steal something. They need quality control training. So much potential lost here. While it's a perk for Chase Sapphire card holders, it's more of an opportunity to be treated like crap. Chase, I expect more from you. read more

They clearly underestimated the demand for this lounge. Far too small for this busy airport & the staff reeks of indifference. My last three visits have been very frustrating. I thought about discontinuing my card with Chase. Yes, that bad. Today, we had a another wait at the front door but the Chase Sapphire Lounge had a secret weapon Pamela who empathized with us, explained the situation & checked in with us frequently even after we had been seated. Pamela is a true professional & should be the model for other employees. Promote her. read more

Probably one of the tiniest lounges Chase has. Wait times are terrible and it's unlikely most card holders will get to use it. There are lots of empty seats and they still block people from coming in. If you been to another of Chase's lounges... Don't expect much here... However, there aren't many lounges here and the next usable lounge is in the next terminal (T3). If you can afford to wait, there is a nice bar area as well as a quiet corner where I was able to enjoy a book and eat a little. The food is spicy! And there is dairy in most everything... quinoa salad thing was the best bite... corn chowder was not eatable... read more

I had priority pass and access to lounge but the gate keeper talked me out of it .... It's not useful to use priority pass for sapphire lounge . Also there is a huge line . Not good to have priority pass to access sapphire lounges read more

I'd give it zero if I could. I put my name on the waitlist. Got the notification that I was next only to be told at the front desk that they were only letting Chase card holders in. 30 minutes wait for nothing! I have priority pass through Capital One and this would have been my one time use in this lounge if they had let me in. Also just looking the place, they don't even look crowded. They just seem to have an overly strict lounge access policy. I can't say I will even try to get into this lounge next time I'm flying through Phoenix airport. Very disappointed! read more

The average wait time for me as a single person is over 30 mins. There have always been many single seats at the bar but they still have you wait. It's honestly ridiculous. Drinks are good. Food is okay. When you book a reservation before hand and are 15 mins late they make you go back onto a 30 min + wait list. Not worth paying $800/year for the chase sapphire card. Am considering switching to American Express with their lounge read more

First - I have a Sapphire Card...only to be told I didn't have the most exclusive Sapphire card for access. I then asked if I could just use my Priority Pass (as advertised)...they said I could not...the wait was too long. It is just disingenuous...the lounge was not overcrowded...and the next guy who had the card they were looking for walked right in. Just remove the priority pass access if you are not going to honor it...save someone the walk across the Airport. read more

Showed up two and a half hours before my flight and was told the waitlist was so long that I likely wouldn't get in before my boarding time. Ridiculous. Don't count on getting in if you're traveling at a busy time. read more

Have a reserve card solely for lounge access. The greeter at the door is putting people on "an excessively long waitlist" and telling people that it's their policy not to give wait times. No access for most people who are trying to use the membership they PAID for. What an absolute scam. (By the way, was here on a very light-travel day. The airport wasn't busy at all. The only line in the airport was at the sapphire lounge). read more

This "lounge" has me questioning why I pay for a Chase Sapphire Reserve card. It's tiny so there's often a waitlist. Even when you get in the seating is cramped. The food options are mediocre and for breakfast similar to the free breakfasts at 2 star hotel. The staff is awful too. They kicked out me out of the seat I took say it "was for another guest". There was no reserved sign. How do I get to be a guest was who gets warrants a good seat? Who knows? But paying the CSR hefty annual fee clearly isn't enough! I've been to some mediocre lounges but this is the worst one I have experienced. Chase should be ashamed of itself for marketing this as a premium product. read more

Contrary to many of the reviews, I actually had a great experience. There was a waitlist, but it only took about 5 minutes for me to get in. You can actually get in faster if you have the chase sapphire reserve card over the priority pass. When you check in, you have to show your card as well as your boarding pass. I got a seat at the bar and got the chase signature cocktail, which was more pretty than tasty but still decent. I enjoyed the grilled ham & cheese at the snack bar, which had an assortment of sweet and savory snacks. They also have cold brew on tap, which was nice. I also went around the back and got this cauliflower dish and turkey mushroom wrap, which were pretty tasty. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to get in since my flight was going to board in an hour from when I checked in, but it all worked out! read more

I travel through Phoenix for work a few time a year. It's always a bit of a wait.... But more than worth it. The staff is very attentive and the service is top notch. read more

I was here over the holidays and had a nice time. Sitting at the bar I had a view of the runway and the service was very good. The gin Sapphire cocktail was tasty. Food wise it's just OK. The cheddar and prosciutto grilled cheese bites were my favorites. The employees did a great job. The bartender was prompt, the counters, tables, floors and bathrooms were kept very clean. Robin, the manager, did a great job at the front door and kept things run smoothly. read more

Very poorly run. Wildly inefficient. Food and drink are OK. I would recommend the Amex lounge over here.

Totally Underserving of the Sapphire brand. Chase should be embarrassed that this lounge bears the name. And if you've already been to a Sapphire lounge, say in LaGuardia or Hong Kong, without question, you will find nothing here but disappointment. Family and I arrive for a long layover. Was told there was a wait list. How long is the wait, I politely ask. He incredulously says he can't answer. That it would be impossible to give me a wait time because, you know, he might be wrong and would only be guessing (what other expectation would I reasonably have beyond a guess anyway?!?). But regardless... let's give him a pass for that bone headed response. I then ask how many people are on the waitlist in front of us. He informs me that number is 13 "card members", implication being there are more on the list but card holders get priority. At this point I start doing the math and decide that's not worth the wait. And then only 100 seconds after I checked in I get the text that we were off the waitlist and could make our way over. C'mon ... you can't honestly tell me in a minute and a half, 13 people left and 13 more were taken in. The whole system seems suspect. But anyway ... we get shown to a table which seemed unusual till I realize, dang, this place is really small. Like tiny. So small that half of it is not even enclosed, it's in the main terminal, just sort of half fenced off. They seat us by a window, with no shades and the sun blazing down (cause you know, it's Phoenix). And the QR menus don't seem to come up. Oh and they sat us at these horribly uncomfortable high tops. At this point I can't even tell you whether the signature cocktail was any good. Or if the food lived up to the hype. We just decided to up and leave. Seriously why create and hype up a lounge that might be only 2500 sq ft in a major airport smack between American and Southwest hubs. So much potential and yet such a colossal missing of the mark. read more

Terrible lounge : make you wait for over an hour but could not provide you with any information on the wait time If you hold a priority pass, you are treated a a second class citizen read more

First time I had a negative experience. The young lady at the front desk has zero personality, does not make you feel welcome, seems rude or definitely having an off day. Was told to have a seat, asked if I could sit in a different area, not counter. I was told no, even though there were other areas available. No staff smiles here, except for a young man who was cleaning tables. Lounge is nice, clean, but definitely not friendly from the moment I walked in read more

It would be nice if they advertised that you need a reservation, and if they allowed reservations before the 24 hour cut off. Been a reserve member for 10 years and feel that my 550 a year isn't being valued especially with all the new changes to priority pass. Finally, a lounge opened up that we can actually use, but I may not even be able to use it because of this "wait". I understand when things are capacity but have seen many people exit and not enough people on the waiting list let in. I'll be canceling my sapphire pretty soon, it's just too much for too little if you don't use the other things. read more

First time here and was absolutely phenomenal. Checked in and sat at the bar (preferred for me) right away. The cocktails were fantastic. Had the Sapphire, Espresso Martini, Desert Jewel, and Cardinal Cooler. Absolute delicious. The food also was fantastic. Had the smoked pork sliders, Quinoa salad, chips with salsa and guac, corn chowder and mozzarella. Service was out of this world. Definitely coming back! Love the ambiance. read more

I see what everyone says about the wait times (waited a little over half an hour by myself), food was enjoyable and the staff were nice.

stumbled upon yet another sapphire lounge in transit and luckily had enough time to enjoy a quick bite and drink at the lounge :) the lounge is quite small so they maintain a waitlist for guests, luckily our wait wasn't very long. you're assigned seating based on the size of your party, we got counter seating facing the gates and it was a nice private area to hang out. beer and wine can be mobile ordered via the QR code on the table, cocktails are available at the bar. food and non-alcoholic beverages are self-served- and the airstream made some yummy turkey wraps and buffalo cauliflower bites. didn't have any expectations of this lounge, but i guess if i had any it did exceed my expectations :) read more

As with so many lounges that pretend to be part of the Priority Pass network, this lounge aggressively blocks access to Priority Pass holders. They, deeply inappropriately, only allow Priority Pass access with a Chase card. Truly shameful policies and behavior. They will lie to your face and say there is a 4 hour waiting list even when you can clearly see that the lounge is not full. read more

Great experience at the Sapphire Lounge in Terminal 4. Antoine, Sydney and Tiffany were super helpful getting me set up with my Reserve card. The breakfast bao bun was really good - worth grabbing if you're there in the morning. Love the modern space and those huge windows for plane spotting. Though it's compact, it's well-designed and comfortable. The staff really makes this place special - thanks team, you'll definitely see me again. read more

It took a long time, but this lounge has finally opened! The staff, ambiance, drinks, and food were all top notch! The airstream service area makes this lounge unique. While tipping isn't a requirement, it's important to bring cash with you since they can't accept any other forms of tips. read more

Funny how they make everyone wait even when there is no need to wait. I guess they're hoping most folks will give up and walk away. Maybe it makes their metrics look better? read more

Nice concept and decor. You get in by showing your Sapphire Reserve card. There was a bit of waiting time which was ok. I wasn't entirely happy with the size of the place as I was expecting a place to relax in a comfortable chair. Instead what we got was bar stool type setting. (There are other seats to not very comfy). It's just too small to put in big couches here. If you have a membership with other royalty programs, I'd skip this. The food was ok but lots of stealth vegetarian entrees filled with soy, peas, and green stuff cooked in drenching seed oils. The portions were extremely small. Alcohol was OK as were the bar staff. For people trying to avoid being under the influence of alcohol after getting up to 30k ft up in the air, the space and the food options were just meh. read more

Pointless to have a lounge you cannot get into. A supposed benefit of having a Chase Sapphire Reserve card that may as well not be. They Will waitlist you and you'll be on your flight before you get in. Time to change to Amex Platinum I guess, tired of these pointless Priority Pass lounges and then even when its a Chase lounge and you spend a fortune monthly on that card you still cannot use the lounge smh read more

Waiting time very long even with the lounge half empty. They clearly do it in purpose so people would not wait. I was waiting for over half an hour and saw at least 15 ppl exiting the lounge and nobody being called. And since the door was open and it has no high walls, I could see inside, where I could count several empty chairs. I definitely do not recommend the Sapphire lounge in PHX. The Bar attendant was amazing. Food was lower than expected. Chowder was cold, pork sandwich "ok", and no much more options. Totally different than the other Sapphire lounges. The LGA one is outstanding. read more

The lounge seems understaffed, it was more than half empty and there was a line to get in. Only 2 restrooms is def not enough, and some staff are super nice while others make rude gestures to visitors. Would look for a different lounge next time. read more

My first try of a sapphire lounge, first it was a wonderful oasis at Phoenix's airport, it's small, we had to wait about 35 minutes until seating was available, plenty of staff, many in training, the bar staff was numerous and their signature drinks were interesting, only two bathrooms, though both bathrooms are beautiful, food selection was OK, my only real complaint was the wait, but once in, the staff was very courteous and caring, I had the opportunity to compare it also to the American Express Centurion club today, Sapphire, won out on class and physical space, Centurion had better food but was much more packed with people and less enjoyable, so the next time in Phoenix, I will come directly to Sapphire read more

the worst lounge with rude people working there. i had a connecting flight in phoenix for 4 hours, they would not admit me to lounge and told me to come back when it is 3 hours prior to departure. they also have a waiting list, not i'm not sure after waiting list how much time i would have had at this lounge. read more

Not surprised with that review. I stopped by with my Priority Pass since I looked up the closest club and it showed this one accepts PP. upon arrival the side sitting looked empty and there was no line at all. The girl said that they are only taking Saphire Chase and not Prioroty Pass. I was like WTH... the App says it accepts it but she's saying not and in a very rude way. Do not recommend this place.
