This place was an incredible experience. The Adjarian khachapuri simply melted in our mouths and was absolutely delicious. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing, making you want to try the entire menu. Great flavors, great experience, and definitely a place I'd highly recommend.

This place is great! If you haven't had Georgian food, definitely come try them here. I recommend getting the appetizer platter to try all the dips and small bites. They do all taste very similar - creamy and earthy. We tried this creamy white sauce chicken and it tasted really homey, perfect for a cold chilly day. The service is great as well - very attentive.

    - personable staff, was very helpful when ordering since it was our first time having Georgian food - come starving, the portions are generous and very hearty; great for a cold winter meal - bring all your cheese loving friends, i don't think i've ever eaten that much cheese in one sitting before - I wish the khachapuri had higher dough to cheese ratio but both were amazing - I absolutely love that every culture has their own take on dumplings, so of course we had to try their khinkali. being asian, the dough was too thick for me, I'd likely pass on these the next time just because there are so many other things I'd like to try on their menu

I had dinner there - invited by my doctor to celebrate my birthday on 9/9/2025 - this past Tuesday. We gorged on eggplant rolls (very yummy) and we shared an Adjaruli which is dough - baked in the shape of a kayak - flaky and tasty on the outside yet hard on the inside - where a delicious hot Georgian cheese is whipped with an egg yolk by your waiter. In our case we were very well taken care of by George - who catered to all our needs and suggested wines for us to try. We ended up having a glass of Mildiani Kinzmaruli - which although is on the sweet side - it went VERY well with our meal choices !! It was a magical evening for me - a 73 year young man and his beautiful young Japanese doctor.

Keepin it real out here in the village Cozy spot and very efficient, and still able to get a real dining experience. The food is traditional and with a twist on some items. Great attentive staff to help educate from the dishes to picking the right wine.

A friend and I decided to explore Georgian food in East Village and it didn't disappoint. We left incredibly stuffed. We got the Khachapuri, Kinkhali, and pkhali! Khachapuri was A LOT. Between two people, it's over the top but it would be great for a group meal. Kinkhali were huge beef dumplings! Meaty and juicy. Pkhali, a little bit of everything and acts as a good balance for the heavy meal. Service was good, and food came out fairly quickly. I'd come back to try other dishes.

The 3 of us shared 3 dishes. A note about the menu, the appetizers are about the same portion size and price as the entrees but primarily vegetable based. Assorted pkhali: these were interesting treats and the stuffed bellpepper ended being my favorite bites of the entire meal. The sweetness of the pepper went really well with the filling. The cornbread was my least favorite - just dough. Potato mushroom okakuhri: sliced potatoes with oyster mushrooms. It's a big portion size and I got bored of the flavor really quickly even with the plum sauce on the side. It was easy to reheat though the next day. Chicken tabaka: it was still tender meat with crispy skin as before. The sauce is the same as the plum sauce given with the mushroom appetizer. I think a sauce that has some sweetness would go better with this dish.

First time having Georgian food and I absolutely loved it. So quintessentially Eastern European but had its own unique qualities that made each dish excellent. Started with the Khachapuri Adjaruli which was sort of like a bread boat filled with Georgian cheeses and egg. This was unbelievable!!! It was so rich and filling like the amount of cheese here was astounding. The bread was insanely crispy it was like they managed to get just the crunchy crust of a baguette. The cheese was really creamy and was not greasy. Next, the Ostri, which was a spicy beef stew with mashed potatoes. Im not sure if they meant spicy in a heat way, because it was not spicy at all which I was a bit sad about. But the flavor was there! Actually I thought this stew was pretty unique because usually stews are so heavy and deep but this one was much lighter and had a nice tomatoey base to it with the super tender beef chunks. The mashed potatoes were incredible and so fresh, tasted exactly how they make potatoes in Poland idk its just different from how potatoes are prepared in the US and I love it. To drink I had the Georgian Tarragon Lemonade which was fire. First of all, it's GREEN!!! I love anything and everything green. Second of all, flavor was so unique it kinda had a licorice type undertone and it paired so well with the food items. I couldnt stop taking sips I had to pace myself so it lasted the whole meal.

Super tasty food, good drinks, and cute vibe. We absolutely loved everything we got and everyone was very friendly. However, it was super busy and the outer area can be cold so I would recommend getting a reservation.

This is my first time trying Georgian food and I had fun trying new foods! The interior was dimmed well and nicely decorated. There was no wait when we went during early lunch time. The cheese bread was good but overtime it got overwhelming and hard to finish since it is just cheese and bread. The beef dumplings were great but the spinach and cheese dumplings lacked flavor. The grilled sausage paired well with the mashed potatoes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you haven't tried Georgian food yet!

Georgian wine is elite. We ordered 3 wines . All superb. White - rkatsiteli Amber - kisi Red - saperavi. Georgina wine red dry, amber, and white. I'd order each every time again. Honestly top tier . Paired great with all the meals. Especially, the Cheese curd bread. The Khachopuri had a beautiful flavor in the bread. We ordered the gigantic dumplings. The spinach and cheese was excellent and what a cheese pull that had. The beef were juicy and yummy. We ordered the Tabaka, chicken and walnuts. The chicken tasted pan fried abd the sauce epic. Great for dipping the bread in. The Napolean dessert is not to be missed. The burst of orange was amazing. It was definitely one of the best Ive ever had.

Assorted Phkali. $24. Good mix. Favorites were the eggplant/spinach as expected. Good cornbread

Recommended- Kupati/Shkmeruli. Assorted Phkali (for a group.) Order all. I was at this pretty new Georgian restaurant with a group earlier today for dinner. Sorry by the way for knocking off the glass used for the New Year's/Christmas stuff. The staff was friendly and the food overall was excellent with the quality of some dishes in particular surpassing every other Georgian place I've been to. The inside is rather small compared to many of the Georgian spots and the music was light. I didn't have anything to drink but another person had the Georgian pear lemonade which they liked and was a different brand (Zandukeli) than the usual Natakhtari brand you find in spots. I ordered two of most dishes except for one of the special and the ojakhuri and we left stuffed with potential leftovers (though we chose not to) for around $45 a person. Sorry by the way for knocking off the glass used for the New Year's/Christmas stuff. Our first appetizer that arrived was the Assorted Phkali for $24.00 with Georgian vegetable rolls with walnut, Georgian spices, and homemade cornbread. The vegetables included spinach, beetroot, eggplant rolls/Nigvziani badrijani (which can also be separately ordered,) bell pepper, and said cornbread/mchadi. The cornbread was very tasty being less dry than most spots and the other ones were excellent with the eggplant rolls and spinach ones being my favorite as expected. All of them had good amount of spice as well as walnuts and garlic and some pomegranate seeds and it would be a good mix for three to share or four as a stretch or with one other appetizer. The other appetizer was the Potato Mushroom Ojakhuri for $17.00 which had home style fried potatoes, oyster mushrooms, champignons, garlic, and dill and a Georgian plum sauce. I usually see this dish as an entree usually made with pork and it was nice to see a version of this thing as an appetizer though it was less flavorful without the pork of course. The mushrooms were good as well as the thin potatoes and the plum sauce/tkemali had the expected light sourness which helped with the richness and the portion size was nice. Another person gave me one of their Beef Khinkali which are $15 for four very large pieces. If anyone's curious on how to eat them, you're supposed to pick them up and make a slight bite and drink the juice before eating the rest outside of the lumpy top. There was good tender meat inside with a pretty well flavored soup broth. They were solid though I prefer the version slightly at the nearby Cafedelia. The best of the main dishes was between two though I will give a slight edge to the Shkmeruli for $22.00 or chicken in creamy garlic sauce. The chicken or rather Cornish hen as said by them I believe was very tender inside and not overcooked but the star of the show was the sauce which was extremely well flavored with a good hit of garlic but not too much. They give you some little pieces of bread to dip into it though we also used the remains of the khachapuri for the same thing. I have had this dish in many other places but this was the best I've had by a good amount. My other favorite was the Kupati for $25 listed as traditional Georgian sausage made with ground beef, pork, and Georgian spices and served with tashmijabi and house sauce. The kupati had a good snap from the casing and were very well flavored and the tashmijabi/mashed potatoes with cheese were a good accompaniment. The sauce had a light sourness. This was excellent and also the best I've had. We also got the obligatory Adjaruli Khachapuri for $16 or the traditional khachapuri from Adjara region made with homemade dough, Georgian cheese blend, and egg yolk and baked to a golden crisp. They presented it as per most spots with the egg uncooked and the server mixes it into the cheese mix and does a bit of a theatrical show of it. It was salty and cheesy as it always is and the remaining bread as noted was good to dip into the garlic sauce. It is of comparable quality to Cafedelia and better than the one at the popular Chama Mama. We were originally going to get the Chashushuli for $25 or a veal stew with tomatoes, onion, and Georgian spices topped with cilantro and parsley but there was a special that the waiter said which was a bigger version of a similar stew for $31 which was more tomato based which we went with instead. Said tomato stew turned out to be Ostri which is a preference. The latter is more spiced by comparison and I prefer how the meat is cooked. The stew was good and served with mashed potatoes and would be good to add on the menu to potentially replace said dish or just as extra. If the Kupati/Shkmeruli were only of good/decent quality, I would note this already as a better version of Chito Gvrito (for price point) and Chama Mama/Old Tbilisi Garden (quality and comparable price point) but the better versions of those dishes while the rest were still on point puts it a bit over most Georgian spots. Mid 4.

Came here to celebrate my friend's birthday, and it was her first time trying Georgian food, but probably my third time trying Georgian food. Both of us had a great time and left feeling super full. I had made a reservation in advance for a Tuesday night, but I don't think I really needed one because when I arrived there were a handful of tables available. Some of the tables are close to each other so it was a little annoying at times to have people bump into my bag that was hanging on my chair. There is a bar that's available so it's nice that they have that option because I saw a couple people come in to eat dinner by themselves. The menu is a good size, and for the two of us, we ordered four dishes to share and one dessert. It was definitely too much food, but I'm glad that we got to try so many Georgian specialties. We ordered: 1. Elarji balls (5/5) 2. Adjaruli Khachapuri (5/5) 3. Beef Khinkali (4/5) it was very interesting to eat this, because it was like a large soup dumpling. Our server instructed us to flip it over, make a small bite, slurp the soup, and then eat it. Also, the other reviewers were not lying, these were huge! 4. Chalapuli (2/5) this dish really was not for me. It was just very overpowering with the lamb flavor, but that's just me. I had one bite and could not have anymore, but my friend enjoyed it. 5. Honey cake (3/5) not bad, but it definitely could've used more strawberry to cut the overwhelming savoriness of the cake.

First I'll start with the wine - we ended up trying all three happy hour wines (HH until 7), which the tables favorites were the white and we ended up getting a bottle to split once HH ended (but I really enjoyed the other vino verde option). It was incredibly refreshing and paired well with the many tinned fish options. As you'd expect - it's a pretty massive selection and there is bound to be a varietal and glass for any palate. It's also attached to a wine store - so it's fine to see all the bottles when peaking over. Food-wise - this is where it was hit or miss, they have a pretty extensive menu (with a whole tinned fish section!) and we ended up ordering the buratta on focaccia (buratta was excellent, focaccia was too dense for my tastes), mushroom truffle crostini (way too salty), the flatbread with sliced kielbasa (was fine), halloume (table favorite ), tinned sardines in lemon oil (delicious), tinned smoked trout (my favorite). Overall the four of us were very full at the end of the meal! The space itself felt very relaxing and rustic, and definitely got busier as the night went on (we got there at 6:50 and left around 9). The service was also fast and attentive - even for the amount of tables they were serving. Overall - I'd definitely go back again, and maybe just focus on the wine and another tinned fish selection!

Starting with the positives -the banchan was solid across the board and really flavorful. That said, charging for banchan feels strange to me. Traditionally, it's complimentary, like bread at an Italian restaurant so that part didn't sit right but it was flavorful. The chigae was interesting and probably the standout dish. It had a unique flavor that reminded me of a mix between soondubu and dwenjang chigae which worked well. Unfortunately, the rest was a miss. The bossam was overly salty and didn't feel true to the dish. The tteokbokki was another disappointment -it came with cheese (which wasn't expected) and just fell flat overall. For the hype, I expected much more especially because I've eaten Korean food my whole life. The venue is small and the seats in the back are uncomfortable.
