I touched base with the shop to let them know I was working on finances. As I was trying to come up with the large sum of money I was able to find another shop to repair for almost 600 less. I called today to have it towed and they would not release my vehicle until I paid diagnostic fees that totaled $162. Despite multiple communications between Art and I not one time were any diagnostic fees talked about. I wasn't told when I called to let them know it was coming. It wasn't discussed when he provided me with estimates. It wasn't discussed or disclosed EVER. It was two separate fees. One to tell me my alternator died which I knew before I even had it towed there and told him that. The second was a fee to visually inspect my tire and joint. Please stay away from this shop. This is shady business. Be up front and professional with your potential customers when you provide them pricing. Listen to other peoples reviews also. I didn't agree to a fee. I didn't sign anything saying id pay a fee and it was never ever talked about. Had it been id completely understand. People do not work for free and I get that. But this was just wrong In response to the person below NEVER, NOT ONE time was a diagnostic fee disclosed or talked about and you're a liar if you say you told me that. You gave me a quote for services.
