We had a very disappointing experience. We were charged an $89 service fee just for an inspection. The technician Nate diagnosed the issue as a simple diverter, which he himself said costs around $20. However, we were then quoted $700 for the repair. When we asked if there was any flexibility on pricing, we were told there is no negotiation -- but then were offered a $50 discount in exchange for leaving a 5-star review, which felt inappropriate and not genuine. The interaction became uncomfortable when we questioned the pricing, and the explanation given (overhead, gas, etc.) did not justify such a large markup for what appears to be a straightforward repair. For comparison, we had another licensed professional come out the same day. They applied the inspection fee toward the repair and completed the job for $200 total, which felt much more reasonable and transparent. Overall, this felt like a waste of time and money. I had Dan from Santos Plumbing to look at a leaky shower Valve. He was respectful and called me to give me a quote for replacing the cartridge in valve. I thought he said $178 which sounded about right to replace an item that cost approximately $40 and takes a plumber well less than an hour to install.. He charged my credit card over the phone and I I thought I was paying $178, he then sent me the bill and I was charged$898. This company is totally taking advantage of people and I would highly discourage anyone from using them. read more

We called because of a toilet that was backed up. We were charged $400 for them to crawl under our house and they determined that the main line would need to be replaced. They never even got a tool out to snake the toilet. They said they would take the $400 off of the bill which they anticipated would be $$2000-3000 to replace the main drain. The written estimate came in at $20,000! We called another plumber who snaked the drain for under $200. Total scam!!! read more

First off the mistake of calling them and the dispatcher saying that the plumber will tell you what it will cost after me saying I already had the washer guys come out and say that it just needs to be unclogged with the correct snake was a definite red flag. I called Santos saying to please bring a snake that will unclog the clog. That did not happen. What I didn't know is he would say oh let's use the 36 ft snake for 448 then after that didn't work he then goes to say he will cost more just to use a bigger snake for 498 then after not using that snake he then proceeds to charge us for the 498. Then says what ever bigger snake he has to use is going to charge more.. then says I could have charged you 1400 to use the other 100ft snake. Then says I know someone who has a hydro pump that will cost 1000. We didn't know that the price we paid was actually on a high end for the service needed and it did not live up to that standard or expectations. He first says oh please give me a 5 start review after hyping he is going to fix it. The first time when there was a mess he cleaned it but the second time he left it all over the floor/ the wall with the dirty towels on the floor with the disgusting backed up smell . My husband suggested to use the shop vac which he goes oh yeah we can use that. So we had to suggest how to clean the mess After him saying they pride them selves of cleaning the mess .. Then he says let's go look at a crawl space to look at the pipes but he can't get into it since he was bigger then the crawl space plus said his brother can't fit in that either and says he would have to hire someone smaller to get into it which would I know cost more money to do that. Then says oh that's old piping that will cost you 6000 to fix it. Which at this point he is totally throwing random numbers out . At the end when we realize he can't fix it and is just trying to charge us more. Then he said he can come back tomorrow to fix it . At that point we just payed him for the 498 which we realize was a mistake it should have been 448. But we just wanted him to leave, then we proceeded to clean up the mess ourselves and had to call another plumber who quoted us 250 to use any snake size. Seriously the worse experience and we should have called a place that gives a quote first that doesn't charge per snake and has legit paperwork. They don't have an official business office either and he said he's been business for only 3 years. I wanted to add to this review that we had another company who not only charged us 285 for 1 hour of any size snake and within 20ft of the line, it got cleared. They even went 40ft to make sure tested it out and even cleaned after wards, brought there own vacuum, cleaning towels. read more

I had a blocked toilet on Saturday morning. It was a 1 man job but I was charged for 2 plumbers. They did unnecessary work and charged me 1000.00. They snaked 40 feet to city sewer that was unnecessary. The tub and sink were not backing up. No blockage found. Told me I needed new toilet. I put in new toilet and blockage still there. They came back to snake the air vent and that did not fix it. They said they wanted to rip out wall. I said no and called another plumber. Next morning new plumber flushed toilet it was working. These 2 are taking advantage of unwary people. Do not call them. read more
