Needed our Rinnai tankless water heater serviced - wasn't staying hot for showers, sinks worked. Tried cleaning the heating rods and did a vinegar flush but still not working right. Technician came out on Christmas Eve and figured out the exhaust vent was blocked on our porch area. Fixed it in 10min. Nice guy- but I'm glad it was not part-related as they don't have parts for Rinnai heaters in stock (not what I was told on the phone BTW). It was the Techs knowledge that made it a quick fix. I live up at Herritage Ranch in Lake Nacimento. To get any type of service on my home due to distance from Paso Proper is a royal nightmare. I had contacted many companies and had one who lives on the ranch no show for an appointment my husband took off work for (in this economy no less)! They had run into all kinds of worms during the day prior to my appointment. But they had the common sense and common curtsy to call me and inform me. It wasn't an issue at all for me to reschedule to the following morning. Melissa was nothing but open and transparent via phone calls and text. Jared went above and beyond hunting down our local water service for me to be able to do the job. We had 3 appointments with Jared. The first was kind of a discovery about what needed to be done (whole unit water shut off). And the estimated cost of labor and parts. None of the jobs we had were walk in the park easy fixes either. A new handle for our water shut off and fixing a leaky faucet in our shower. Jared during the last appointment showed up despite having a bout of food poisoning and called apologized the following day fearing he was lacking in customer service. Love this company! Shawn did a great job restoring water pressure to my shower and sink, while not trying to upsell me to things I didn't need. We agreed that it made sense to replace the shower cartridges after ~20 years. He was able to order the right ones after removing the faceplates, returning a week later to install them. (In contrast, another plumber said that he needed to open my drywall since he couldn't ID the manufacturer from the faceplate). Years ago we had a whole-house water filter installed via our garage. It was plastic (not good, but usual) and lasted 8 years before it failed and started to leak in our garage. He was on time, very professional, and completed the job in a timely manner.
