Called them in a pinch when another contractor accidentally damaged our septic line. The entire team was extremely helpful and found a way to squeeze us into their schedule that afternoon. They were able to quickly locate and diagnose the problem and got an immediate temporary solution in place to get plumbing up and running. Needed some service on my family's property. I was blown away by the personal service from this company. The owners were so helpful and you could tell they care about their customers. I've read a few bad reviews from previous customers but thankfully I'm smart enough to review the reviewers first! 9 our of 10 times those bad reviews are from people that consistently complain so I generally disregard those.... They arrived on time, did the job quickly and efficiently. Fees were fair, didn't overcharge in any way and they were not disruptive on my property as they came equipped with everything! Roger and Scott were very informative, responsive and respectful. These guys are all business, by the time they left you couldn't even tell the ground had been dug up! We just had Ingram & Greene come out to our house yesterday (1/4/19) to pump our septic tank. Their office called the morning of the day they were to arrive to ask if they could come earlier than expected, I was delighted to accommodate! The young men who arrived were very nice, professional, knowledgeable and really great workers. Our septic clean out is in the middle of our landscaping and they had to lift out some of my plants. When they were finished they put everything back exactly as it was and if I hadn't known they had come I wouldn't have been able to tell by how they left my yard. I can highly recommend Ingram & Greene! They have been in business since 1952 so to my way of thinking, that says something about their integrity. read more

I called Ingram and Greene who serviced the house I bought for many years. Since I wanted to do construction on the house , I wanted to make sure i was not going to cover the tank, and hurt the leach lines. I asked for perhaps someone to come out and meet me there to help.The Owner was the one who answered the phone. She was mean , combative and rude. She was lucky i kept my cool and didn't unload on her like she did me.Every question I asked she had a reason not to comply. I asked how big the tank was. She said call the Manufacture. She said they dont know where the leach lines are. I think its odd she would give me a quote to re-enforce the tank for $4200 Yet can even help me on the size of the tank. No customer service , they act like the doing you a favor All she kept saying " I been doing this for 35 years" Oh yeah then you should know more about your business to help customers . read more

We were referred to Ingram & Greene by a friend. They pumped our septic tank & put new lids on them when they were finished. The lids are standard tank lids which are huge & unattractive so we asked what could be done to hide them given that our tank is located in our front yard. Roger suggested they could bury the lids and we could put pavers on top so that's what we did. The pavers are attractive & allow access the next time we need to pump the tank. Scott & Skylar came out to do the work - hard working guys who are pleasant to work with. Very professional & knowledgeable. Worthless. They see I clearly have an emergency and come back FIVE weeks later and refuse to do the Jobe over some rocks in the way that their little dinky tractor could easily roll over or move. What kind of emergency septic service makes someone live with no sewage for over a month and then gets here and says sorry. I called clearly frustrated and the lady says they won't do the job because I'm being unreasonable! I've worked construction and excavation for my whole adult life and they clearly are just plain lazy and rude. Will never deal with this company or let anyone I know deal with this company again read more

I used Ingraham and Greene to replace my leach field in a foreclosure I bought. I always expect good service from a family company, but was pleasantly surprised by the personal attention we received all the way through bidding to completion. He even let me get involved in the digging! Sadly I wasn't allowed to run the backhoe. Most important was that the quoted timeline was dead on. It seemed like all the materials were scheduled right on time, so they could get to work right away. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend I&G to my neighbors. read more

After calling a different well known septic company twice and never receiving a return phone call I heard about and contacted Ingram and Greene. Right away a very friendly and helpful woman answered the phone and gave me instructions on how to prepare/uncover our septic if we wanted to do it ourselves, otherwise for an additional fee they could do it for us. Once we were ready I called them back, and again, I was helped right away and we scheduled an appt. The day of our appointment she called to let me know they were on their way, right on time. The gentleman that arrived at our home was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Meanwhile the other company still has never called me back. Guess they have gotten too busy to return calls. Waited weeks for them to show up. When they did a few small rocks were in their way and refused to dig up my septic system to have it fixed. By this point I had been without plumbing for a month and a half waiting on them! No dishes, showers, laundry, clening.....NOTHING! what kind of "emergency " plumbing and septic service is that? They were rude and didn't even give a "high, how are you?" Or anything. Wouldn't answer questions and were plain useless. I called the office and the woman on the phone was a snobby ass that shouldn't be in a position where she is supposed to deal with customers. Unprofessional is not even close to a word that describes how useless, arrogant, and plain rude these people were. Went with another company that came and took care of it within a day! The workmen were polite..Work was completed efficiently .. However they charged me a surcharge for using my credit card ..They pressured me to pay immediately though I requested a bill and even offered to go to bank and get a check for them..On hind site I should have refused..I did call the office to let them know that charging a surcharge especially after the described attempts on my part were ignored..The receptionist was extremely rude and would not listen to my concerns..I did talk to the manager..he did listen and said they would send someone out to give extra service..Its been about 2 months with no word from them..I did call several other local companies..From my research they charged the highest price for service and their charge for digging was highest { My dig out was very simple and shallow}. Also no other company charges a surcharge...I will not use this company again read more

The work was professional, some malfunction of their equipment extended their time and increased my cost. Couldn't complete the job in one visit which resulted in a second $400+ charge for repumping the tank a week later. Insisted on payment on the spot AND charge 3.7% for using a credit card. Will NOT use them again. Will use Al's which I've learned bills, due in 30 days like any normal business. read more
