Best vegan restaurant I went to in Barcelona! Had the shwarma, tortilla de papa, a bocadillo sandwich, and a chocolate croissant and it was all so delicious! It's a cute lil place and the owners are really friendly. This is definitely a place to seek out when in Barcelona, I hope to return some day!

    Great vegan meats!!

Really great juices and mind-expanding vegan cheeses and meats at this place. Right next to the Universitat metro station, this place is a must when visiting Barcelona for the wandering vegan.

Cafe con leche, toast with hazelnut butter, and a strawberry croissant (all vegan and all delicious!)

I went here for breakfast this morning and it was fantastic! Today is Wednesday, and it wasn't crowded but also wasn't empty. I came here because they have vegan options and they did not disappoint! Friendly staff and great food. I had toast with hazelnut butter, a vegan strawberry croissant, and cafe con leche and they were all very good (especially the toast). This is both cheap and tasty!

Great cafe, great prices! This all vegan cafe carries everything from chocolate croissants to homemade pizza! Yum! First visit (because I can assure you that there is going to be more than one): chocolate croissant, jam filled croissant, cheese and ham empanada, onion empanada and lattes. The croissants are especially tasty! The staff is very friendly and everything is vegan! Score!

Hmmm if the food could speak for itself I would have given this place more than 3 stars. The food is great and it is so nice to have unique vegan options, pastries especially! However, the environment is very mediocre and I got weird vibes from the man working up front. I feel bad to knock off two stars for this as it could have just been a fluke morning, but, it is what it is. One thing I will say is how nice it was to have a vegan chocolate croissant, that is a rare find!! Also, it's reeeeallly cheap.

Just delicious! Great choices for vegans breakfast lunch and casual meal!! Just arrived in Barcelona now I can start my quest after a nice refuel on the vegan burger!

The Seitan Shawarma!! Looks small but it's definitely a two handed portion. Made fresh and all sorts of tasty:P

Small but perfectly formed. Had a lovely vegan breakfast there which set me up for the day.

There…read moreare actually quite a lot in Barcelona but the photos on Yelp made this place look nice on the inside. Check the website to confirm the hours because the Yelp hours weren't correct and we ended up coming about and hour and a half before they closed. The staff still welcomed us in but we tried to be polite and finish early. We order drinks. I got the sangria since I wanted to try it while in Spain. The alcohol was jussssst right, if you know what I mean. I think, altogether we order just about everything on the menu between us and the portion sizes were great for being able to share amongst the table. I ordered the Indian curry with rice. We also shared the baked cauliflower, mushroom puffed pastry, the honey miso aubergine, and the goat cheese mixed greens. Every last dish was wonderfully seasoned and the flavors were AMAZING, in my opinion. The only thing that wasn't up my alley was the aubergine. This is no fault of the chef. I just am trying to love aubergine/eggplant but just haven't found a dish that makes me swoon. It's a texture thing I think. Anyway, I really loved the mushroom puffed pastry and I normally have an aversion to mushrooms as well...texture thing yet again. The desserts were great too. I literally sucked the caramel flan in three bites. It was deee-licous! This place definitely is on my list of places the next time I'm in Barcelona. The decor and lighting was great for the ambiance, the staff were very nice, and the food came out fast and tasted perfect especially after a long day exploring Barcelona. Cheers!

We had the mushroom croquettes, the bread with tomatoes, and the burrata with nectarines on brioche which was the best of the three. We finished with the pumpkin pie with cardamom and the flan. From now on, I will add cardamom when I make pumpkin pie. The flan was the best flan I've ever had because it had an additional flavor. Our waiter was friendly and did a nice job.

This place marked the spot. There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. I preferred an indoor seat this evening because of the heat. First, the paella comes in a hearty serving. Definitely will fill you up. I arrived around 7ish for perspective and they made this to order. The paella was made wonderfully. Me personally, it seems a bit too rice heavy and not enough seasoning for my preference, but that is more an indictment on paella and not this place. They did have plenty of other options so I'm sure people are satisfied regardless.

Very filling, and such good vegetables. The fish/meat substitute was super good. Really well done. Reasonably priced for LA standards. Not sure what standard BCN pricing is but my entree was ~15 euro. Had a small amount of leftovers. Ambiance was great, too. And staff able to speak English if you have any questions. Great allergen labeling. All around stellar spot. PS my walking tour guide said Born is much cooler and less touristy than the Gothic District- if that helps you choose which location. And the church across the plaza is free after 6 pm so pop in and look for the FC Barcelona window.
