Ten page menu of Vegan items.

Excellent fresh extracted juices!!! Very healthy and fresh. Menu has ten pages of vegan items to choose form. Lunch was very popular. Will be going back for dinner soon.

We ate a "3-course" lunch with hummus, dahl and some kind of apple pie för 9,25€. It was great and yummy for that price! Wine or water is included.

If you like Indian food this is your spot! I have to say that Indian food is not my fav but anyway it was good. The service was very kind and helpful with our "what should we order" questions.

When our original destination was too crowded for us to be seated, we walked around the corner to Veggie Garden for our last lunch in Barcelona It was hard to choose but finally opted with their Daily Specials. You get to select options from a pre-set menu, to create 3-courses & also includes wine I chose the Hummus & Thali - the hummus was awesome & liked the carrots to scoop up the creamy goodness. Didn't much care for their bread - it was hard & dry. The Thali was a combo of daal, some mixed veggies & lentils. I thought most of the flavors were the same but it was filling Mr chose the Chef's Tapas & Albondigas but be was served the calzone instead. The calzone was only okay & the Mr had really been looking forward to the "meat" balls but we were not willing to send it back at that point - we had a plane to catch Apple crumble for desert was like an applesauce with crumble on top. Not bad but was hoping for chiunks of apples We felt rushed from the time we entered the place to the time we left - the waitstaff was coming up every couple of minutes to see if we were ready to order & we barely finished the last bites of our courses when they were there to clear plates. But for offering vegan in Barcelona & a fun atmosphere, have to say this place is a huge A-OK

Veggie Garden conveniently opened in late 2011, just as I was starting an intensive masters degree. A healthy, affordable, vegan kitchen just steps away from my apartment? Clearly, I ended up here multiple time per week. This is a vegan Nepalese restaurant. The owner is a warm, super friendly man named Ramesh, who is an absolute gem and always waves to me even when I'm just passing by. His wife and young son are usually around to entertain as well. They have an extensive list of fresh juices and smoothes; my favorite is carrot, orange, and ginger. If you're in the mood for a treat the Canella Vanilla smoothie has pear, walnuts, cinnamon, vanilla... it's delicious but rich. The best value is the menu de dia, which includes a starter (usually a soup, salad, hummus, or momos, Nepalese dumplings) a main course (a Thali with 3 vegan curries, stuffed eggplant, polenta, for example), bread, water or wine, and a dessert for 8,25 EUR. My one complaint would be that the bread is usually on the stale side but the food is plentiful and the price is the best I've seen in Barcelona. Enjoy!

In my favorite quarter of Barcelona, the RAVAL, lies a jewel! The Veggie Garden was buzzing yesterday (Sunday) at 3.30pm, we snatched one last table on the 1st floor! It looks so small from the outside, but there is some more seating upstairs. People are hippy and hip, they are international and relaxed! And yeah!!! A menu just for us veggies!!!!! I was in crisis.....so much to choose from, so little time... ok, veggie burger for me, different sauces available, Thali for my partner. We also ordered an ecological beer and a Smoothie. Both tasted just fine :) Oh, how I enjoyed sitting there, caught up in the lazy Sunday-bohemian mood.... Food came quickly and we happily digged in. Ask the staff for their favorites, when you are undetermined, they are glad to advise. Best part of it all: the bill! 14,00€ for 2 people. Crazy stuff! Everybody: come in and support this cute, local business!

The sandwich comes with a generous portion for only €4.50! The Gràcia sandwich is flavorful, healthy and filling - a perfect choice for lunch. Also, if you are running late to class or work like I did, I recommend to order the sandwich to go since it only took them 5 minutes to prepare my order.

Stumbled upon this joint because I saw the word vegan and had to order something even though we were headed for dinner. I ordered the momo which was basically expensive dumplings. It had a strong Indian taste and I think this joint was Indian. It was good but I was hoping for something new.

I had the Thalia and it was amazing. The fresh juices are amazing! The seitan burger was ok.

It was refreshing to find this place because there is almost no vegan/vegetarian food here in Spain and I eat pretty clean for the most part. Spanish food is not the best and lots of fried fatty foods. For a min I felt like I had some of those cherished conveniences of being back In LA eating good tasting healthy veg food. Definitely come here if this is what you are looking for. I will probably come back for dinner. Also not expensive so you definitely get your monies worth. Get the Thali you won't regret it. Also got the seitan burger and it was not as good as the thali.the juices are amazing and everything is very fresh and the cost is minimal compared to what you get for it. Winner!

Predictably good vegan fare! You can't go wrong ordering from their daily menu specials!

fresh squeezed orange and apple juice with appetizer (toasted bread with sundried tomato spread and aurugla)
    Patty S.

This place was amazing. I came twice when I was in Barcelona just to have their toasted bread with sundried tomato spread and arugula one more time because it was sooooo delicious!! and also to try their fresh squeezed juices which i had not done the first time. And oh man, I couldnt have made better juice myself. It was so fresh and delicious, and there is basically every combination you can imagine, the section for juices on the menu is endless! and you can also create your own. i like juice but its not something i would brag about, unless it was this amazing. and i cannot stress how delicious the appetizer is (toasted bread with sundried tomato paste and arugula - its a must have!) the first time i went i had an organic beer though, and a veggie burger. The beer was whatever, you can find it at any store that sells organic beer (its bottled), its definitely way more worth your money to get a juice. and the veggie burger was really good but its one of those really sloppy meals because they bread it made out of i dont know what natural product and comes apart easily. I didnt try anything else but the menu had a lot of options and i saw a lot of people ordering the indian dish, it seemed to be extremely popular. but i was not in the mood for indian food. the place also has wifi for those of you who travel with no service and only have connection through wifi! cheers!

A vegan paradise in Barcelona! (you can only eat so many patatas bravas) The food we ordered was super flavorful and delicious. We split the sampler plate between me and my boyfriend. It was filling and a good price. Totally recommend it. The reason this restaurant is only getting 3 stars from me is because they completely forgot our drink order and then, after waiting about 15 minutes after finishing our food to get the bill and went in to pay, they tired to charge us for them and argued with my boyfriend claiming they indeed brought them out. The service was just all around pretty terrible. Perhaps it was a bad day, I'd still like to try it again when I'm back in town.

    Shame about the graffiti
    S H.

Hmmmm... Still a great place but looking a little tatty on the outside now (graffiti all over the shopfront). Also, I had the seitan burger and the bread was almost inedible. It was so dry and difficult to swallow that I needed to take the burger out and eat it without the bun. A shame as my non-Vegan friend had ordered the same and wasn't impressed. The other dishes and drinks were great though and it's still excellent value for money.

Check the website to confirm the hours because the Yelp hours weren't correct and we ended up coming about and hour and a half before they closed. The staff still welcomed us in but we tried to be polite and finish early. We order drinks. I got the sangria since I wanted to try it while in Spain. The alcohol was jussssst right, if you know what I mean. I think, altogether we order just about everything on the menu between us and the portion sizes were great for being able to share amongst the table. I ordered the Indian curry with rice. We also shared the baked cauliflower, mushroom puffed pastry, the honey miso aubergine, and the goat cheese mixed greens. Every last dish was wonderfully seasoned and the flavors were AMAZING, in my opinion. The only thing that wasn't up my alley was the aubergine. This is no fault of the chef. I just am trying to love aubergine/eggplant but just haven't found a dish that makes me swoon. It's a texture thing I think. Anyway, I really loved the mushroom puffed pastry and I normally have an aversion to mushrooms as well...texture thing yet again. The desserts were great too. I literally sucked the caramel flan in three bites. It was deee-licous! This place definitely is on my list of places the next time I'm in Barcelona. The decor and lighting was great for the ambiance, the staff were very nice, and the food came out fast and tasted perfect especially after a long day exploring Barcelona. Cheers!

This place marked the spot. There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. I preferred an indoor seat this evening because of the heat. First, the paella comes in a hearty serving. Me personally, it seems a bit too rice heavy and not enough seasoning for my preference, but that is more an indictment on paella and not this place. They did have plenty of other options so I'm sure people are satisfied regardless.
