The paella marisko was heavenly, one of the highlights of my whole trip to Barcelona. The vegan shrimp had great texture, the flavors of everything were amazing, and the rice was the perfect amount crispy at the bottom, no notes. Came on this place accidentally. What we were looking for was closed and found this excellent 100% vegan nearby. Signature sangria drinks are exquisitely served with the right amount of alcohol (we did white wine but red is available too) and beautiful adornments of flowers and fruit. Lunch was a seeded bagel with "chicken" served with a side of baked beans, "cream cheese " and onion jam. How they made this all vegan is unbelievable. We're looking forward to going back for dinner tonight as this is our last evening here. The service was non existent as we ordered and paid at the counter but i think if it was busier they would serve you table side. Stylish restaurant with delicious food and imaginative cocktails. The entire menu is plant based, we shared the paella and gnocchi, filling and very reasonably priced. Our server was friendly and professional and spoke excellent English, very helpful as our Spanish is close to non-existent. However, she really went above and beyond when we inadvertently left our wallet and she ran several blocks after us to return it. The drink menu (includes English translations) is glorious and broken up into three larger drink categories - sangria, cava, and non-alcoholic. Honestly, every drink sounded delicious. Here are the ones we ended up ordering: -Denise: Our favorite. A complex and rich sangria spiced up with hints of cinnamon and fresh orange slices. -Salome: Reminiscent of a strawberry lemonade drink-turned-sangria. Basil leaves are refreshing and summery. -Lolita: Tasted like a non-alcoholic version of Salome. Was also bubbly due to the sparkling wine. A true gem here in Barcelona! Vegan tapas and amazing sangrias?! Be still, my attempt-at-a-healthy heart. My brother (who was Vegan) would have approved of this spot. It's hipster environment and cool dining setting made this one lounge that I can really appreciate. It's tucked away from the main tourist areas, but just close enough for you to find it if you are looking for some great sangria. As our last stop on our tapas bar run, my friend and I intended on ending the night with some glasses of sangria. We were surprised to find an extensive menu of different kinds of sangrias with different bitters, mixers, and fruits added. Each of our sangrias (9€ each) came in a large glass, and upon our first sips, we were in heaven! Delicious, refreshing, and amazing. I can't help but give our bartender all the props for her creations. Feeling a tiny bit peckish, we also ordered some patatas bravas (as usual) and pan tomate. The aioli sauce they used on the potatoes was phenomenal, and the tomato bread was some of the best I've had. I don't know what else you can really do to kick up a tomato paste, but this place certainly achieves that feat. Next time I am in Barcelona, I will definitely be returning to try more of their vegan dishes and other sangrias.
