I can't stop raving about this place!! Located in a VERY touristy area near Sagrada Familia, I was so skeptical that it would taste good. But we were so happy with our meals here! It's a vegan "fast food" place offering up vegan burgers, fries and drinks. We went around 1pm and no one was there so we were able to order without a problem. I got their popular burger, The Setburg, which had a mushroom/lentil patty and then piled high with vegan bacon, veggies -- delicious. My husband ordered the Campburg which was also very good and recommenced by the employee there. We did the meals so we got fries and a drink. The meal was cheap, delicious and a great option for folks who are visiting Sagrada Familia and don't feel like paying too much or having to settle on the chains located there (Taco Bell, KFC, etc. are all there as well). read more

Extremely cute and tasty. The menu is vegan, and the prices are fair; for two combos, nuggets and another fries it was a little over 23€. The classic was very good, though I could have done without the faux-bacon strip on top. It didn't add much to the beet-burger, so I picked it off and ate it by itself. It comes with pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, and some other white sauce (which was good, but I'm not sure what it was). The fries are adorable, delicious little half-sized wedges packed with flavor. The combos come with fries and either a can of naturally flavored soda, water, or beer. What a fun little spot! I know, I know, I'm in Barcelona, I should be eating tapas. I did have my fair share however, kiddos were begging for something more kid friendly and I definitely needed a cleansing beverage. We ordered "chicken" nuggets and loaded nachos. Both were super tasty (yes, I had a bite....or two). The "chicken" was meaty and breaded well. The nachos were piled high with creamy, perfectly tang guac and some fresh pico. Great little snacks. I absolutely loved my fresh pressed watermelon limon juice. They had so many varieties of juices it was difficult to choose one but the summer heat had me naturally craving watermelon, so that's what I went with. It was a winner! Kiddos ended their meal with a rainbow donut and a chocolate chip donut. They looked super moist and they were both well liked. Service was super great! Our food was ready promptly and everyone was very friendly. The veggie burgers looked really great and was what I would've ordered had I been eating a full meal here. The casual colorful, quirky place was a lot of fun and a nice change of pace from the fancier sit down places were had been dining at. It's super easy to walk here from Sagrada Familia. Very yummy vegan fast food! I went twice when I was in Barcelona recently. Both times the people who worked there were also very nice. The food was pretty good. I tried both the hot dog that had the word yankee in it and the crunchy sandwich. The nuggets were also really good and so were the patatas. Part of me is ashamed that my favorite meal in Barcelona was at a casual burger joint in a touristy area in the middle of a Monday. The other part of me is like nah, girl -- own it. So thankful for this clutch find on Yelp! Go here after a few hours of gawking at the Sagrada Família once you've worked up an appetite, and order the "menu" combo. All of the burgers looked delicious -- I went with the wowburger. It was well made and was just what I needed after racking up 10,000 steps before 2pm! The potatoes are also perfectly spiced. It's a very casual spot with lots of seating and fast service. Good value and I felt comfortable dining here alone -- although you can get your food to go. SO FREAKIN GOOD!!! My boyfriend and I came across this place accidentally after visiting La Sagrada Familia. We were walking back to our car, when we noticed the sign for vegan burgers. We already had dinner reservations but not for another 2 hours, so we decided to split a burger as a pre-dinner snack. We ordered the SetBurg and a side of fries. The food came out quickly so I was not expecting it to be much better than any fast food place I've been to before. Boy was I surprised! The food well surpassed our expectations so much so that we HAD to order another meal. Every part of the burger was absolutely delicious from the bun to the mushroom based patty. The sun-dried tomato and pesto sauce also added to the already diverse palette of flavors. The fries reminded us of gourmet fries the you might receive at a nice restaurant. Each fry was evenly seasoned and just fried enough to still be soft and crispy at the same time. To sum it up, this place delivers quality gourmet tasting food with fast food timing and prices. I loved everything about La Trocadero. The menu was extensive yet still simple and easy to decipher, the prices were reasonable, the people were friendly, and the decor was bold and retro with plenty of comfortable seating in a clean and casual dining area. I can personally vouch for the classic burger (and if we were staying in Barcelona any longer I'd be going back to try everything on the menu). The beet burger was so flavorful and a good texture, the sauces were delicious and the bun and veggies were fresh. I also appreciated that they had a variety of vegetable-rich veggie patties and meat-tasting fake-meat to choose from because so many vegan-friendly places go with one or the other. My picky five-year-old devoured her nuggets, so I'm assuming those were good. The fries were more like seasoned potato wedges and they were really enjoyable (less boring than usual fries). Delicious and inexpensive vegan burgers. I had the Setburg one time and the Falburger another time. Both were tasty. The potatoes have a nice rosemary flavor and are great reheated on a frying pan the next day. The burgers held their texture well when eaten the next day (I ended up with leftovers since the bravas/potatoes were so filling). read more

I honestly liked their falafel burger more than any burger you get at a mcdonald, kfc, burger king etc. Their 'fries' are also actually potato wedges which is quite a welcome change. My parents just so happen to be vegan so when we learned everything on the menu is vegan we had to try a bit of everything.
