Menu of the day. Four courses. Multiple options to choose from for each course. Meal 9.50 Euro. Add 1.75 Euro for fresh squeezed juice.

This place unfortunately has two yelp.com listings: Arco Iris in Spanish and Arc Iris in Catalan. (It means rainbow in English.) Arco Iris / Arc Iris was absolutely my favorite restaurant in Barcelona. It's all vegetarian food, inspired by Spanish and Catalan cuisine. Each person pays 9.50 Euro for a four-course meal (price as of July 2016). For each of the first three courses, they offer 2-4 options to pick from; and for the last course, there were at least a half dozen dessert options. FOOD. The food was astounding. The ingredients are always fresh and the dishes are tasty. This is a vegetarian's and vegan's paradise. I was the only vegetarian in my group of 6 and every one of the meat-eaters enjoyed their meal and didn't miss the meat. The dishes are consistently flavorful and well-balanced. We enjoyed the meal so much, that we ate there a total of 3 times during our 2-week visit to Barcelona. SERVICE. The service was very friendly. The the guy who seats you (possibly the owner) is so kind and tries his best to get you into a seat as soon as possible. The servers are unbelievably patient and so nice. I can read Spanish, but I don't know a word of Catalan. Between my broken Spanish and their broken English, they helped me understand the menu and each of the options. They remembered us each time we came back and seemed genuinely pleased to see us. PRICE. In Barcelona, you won't find another place that will give you the same bang for your bunk. For only 9.50 Euro, you get an delicious four-course meal. You can add a fresh-squeezed juice for just 1.75 Euro. Affordable and tasty? Count me in. LOCATION. It's very walkable to/from Sagrada Familia. It only serves lunch, so plan your visit to the Basilica with lunch at Arco Iris in mind.

After visiting the Sagrada Familia I was simply FAMISHED so me and my fellow vegetarian travel companion wandered down the street only to find this gem! 4 courses/10€-- they were out of juices but every course was excellent. My one scruple about Arco Iris is that the food was sometimes luke-warm. The dessert was a delicious coffee chocolate mousse. Ample portions, cute restaurant, highly recommend!

Check the website to confirm the hours because the Yelp hours weren't correct and we ended up coming about and hour and a half before they closed. The staff still welcomed us in but we tried to be polite and finish early. We order drinks. I got the sangria since I wanted to try it while in Spain. The alcohol was jussssst right, if you know what I mean. I think, altogether we order just about everything on the menu between us and the portion sizes were great for being able to share amongst the table. I ordered the Indian curry with rice. We also shared the baked cauliflower, mushroom puffed pastry, the honey miso aubergine, and the goat cheese mixed greens. Every last dish was wonderfully seasoned and the flavors were AMAZING, in my opinion. The only thing that wasn't up my alley was the aubergine. This is no fault of the chef. I just am trying to love aubergine/eggplant but just haven't found a dish that makes me swoon. It's a texture thing I think. Anyway, I really loved the mushroom puffed pastry and I normally have an aversion to mushrooms as well...texture thing yet again. The desserts were great too. I literally sucked the caramel flan in three bites. It was deee-licous! This place definitely is on my list of places the next time I'm in Barcelona. The decor and lighting was great for the ambiance, the staff were very nice, and the food came out fast and tasted perfect especially after a long day exploring Barcelona. Cheers!

We had the mushroom croquettes, the bread with tomatoes, and the burrata with nectarines on brioche which was the best of the three. We finished with the pumpkin pie with cardamom and the flan. It's a vegan "fast food" place offering up vegan burgers, fries and drinks. We went around 1pm and no one was there so we were able to order without a problem. I got their popular burger, The Setburg, which had a mushroom/lentil patty and then piled high with vegan bacon, veggies -- delicious. My husband ordered the Campburg which was also very good and recommenced by the employee there. We did the meals so we got fries and a drink. The meal was cheap, delicious and a great option for folks who are visiting Sagrada Familia and don't feel like paying too much or having to settle on the chains located there (Taco Bell, KFC, etc. are all there as well).

The classic was very good, though I could have done without the faux-bacon strip on top. It didn't add much to the beet-burger, so I picked it off and ate it by itself. It comes with pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, and some other white sauce (which was good, but I'm not sure what it was). The fries are adorable, delicious little half-sized wedges packed with flavor. The combos come with fries and either a can of naturally flavored soda, water, or beer. This is a place I would frequent if I lived in Barcelona.

This place marked the spot. There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. I preferred an indoor seat this evening because of the heat. First, the paella comes in a hearty serving. Definitely will fill you up. I arrived around 7ish for perspective and they made this to order. The paella was made wonderfully. Me personally, it seems a bit too rice heavy and not enough seasoning for my preference, but that is more an indictment on paella and not this place. They did have plenty of other options so I'm sure people are satisfied regardless.
