I tend to buy medical items, vitamins, and seasonal things at this Walmart. If I need other items that aren't available, I go to San Marcos, or one of the Supercenters in Poway, Vista, etc. Parking lot is small, and has maybe 12 handicap parking spots up front. Depending on the day and time, it can be hard to get one. Staff are nice, but always busy and overworked. Most things seem to be in stock, maybe because it's not as busy as some of the other locations.

Seems to be the usual selection of products for a bigger store. This store is also the one in town that's open 24 hours a day, in case you need something important like cough medicine etc. And lots of parking because it's a really big center.

I still wanted to purchase it, at the register upon opening it to see if it had any damages it looked like it had a scratch. I politely asked if I could get some sort of discount. The cashier said normally no but that she would ask her team lead. The cashier was sweet no issues with her. The team lead on the other hand, rose or Rosa she was very rude. She told me to my face that she wasn't sure if I had opened it so she couldn't offer a discount. I asked her if she could check the cameras then because I didn't mind waiting and again that's the condition I found it in. She continued to have a rude tone with me and gave me 11¢ off. Not what I was hoping for but I accepted the¢ discount. I then told rose or Rosa with a very polite tone that she was rude and she said back "I'm not being rude" and refused to check herself. Rosa or rose also told the cashier to go on lunch so she turned off her sign but the rose or Rosa turned it back on then got mad at the cashier for not turning it off.

You also don't have nearly the selection, because this is set up more like a club store. Best thing in the store is the bakery section, especially the cakes. Their cakes are made with cool whip frosting, instead of normal frosting. For me, that's a plus because I'm not a fan of frosting. Their fancy bistro bar cakes are delicious, the mango being my favorite. They are a more gourmet cake, with things like jam layers and chocolate curls. Be advised, the cakes have been frozen, so give them time to thaw potentially, before you are going to serve them. They have a huge selection of cakes, cupcakes, bread, pastry, etc. The cornbread here is $1 cheaper than Ralph's. The only things I buy are ad items, that are cheaper than everywhere else. The rest of my shopping is done at Vons, primarily. This location caters primarily to the Latino community, so emphasis is placed on things like Mexican soda, beers, and basic staples like beans and rice. I don't mind bagging my own groceries, because I can control what goes where (so stuff doesn't get smashed). The major letdown is the parking lot, which is a nightmare. Parking, getting in & out, avoiding obnoxious drivers & wandering pedestrians, and the laundry crowd all make it a hair-raising experience. The only time it's a little easier seems to be Saturday night, because everybody must be partying. Can you get some great deals? Yes, but it's going to take some work. And a stop at another market for the rest of your stuff. Just sayin.

Terrific way to get a meal and keep driving. No sit-down meal in a booth or time spent in the drive-thru line. Get in, get your grub, and get back on the road. Quick. Efficient. This location has great bathrooms to use before getting back onto the freeway. The store only accepts debit cards or cash, so they won't get you into debt. No need to finance your next meal.

However, several issues have been making my shopping experience increasingly uncomfortable. I often feel like I'm being watched. When I walk down an empty aisle, someone seems to appear almost immediately, and they stand very close to me. The self‑checkout area is especially uncomfortable -- the employee there watches me so closely that it feels accusatory. I've never stolen anything in my life; I'm the person who turns in lost cell phones. This is the only store where I ever feel this way, and it's discouraging. The large blue baskets employees push around are another concern. I've been bumped or hit by them more than once. Recently, an item I canceled at checkout was accidentally left in my cart by an employee. I drove back to return it because I didn't want anyone to get in trouble, but the situation added to my frustration. The produce section also needs improvement. Some items are fine, but the potatoes are often old, and the lettuce is frequently wilted. The layout of the produce area makes things worse -- the slanted tables and narrow pathways cause constant congestion, and customers end up bumping into each other. I hope these issues can be addressed. I like this store and want to continue shopping here but thinking of changing to a different store. The overall experience has become stressful. Improving the layout, produce quality, and customer interactions would make a big difference.

Like can someone wipe them down?? And why can you not tap your card and need to either swipe or inset. Get with the 21st century please.
