Idk why but it's like they're either short stuffed or not willing to work properly..My package was there then for some reason it went to North Hollywood..WHY?? FFS..You could send it out for delivery already..People are waiting for their packages..The reason i don't use amazon is because these items cost more on amazon than on Temu..They eventually deliver it but when you wait for your item wholeheartedly it always takes longer than you expect.. read more

Santa Clarita Mail Processing Center - Shows the nonsense work of USPS regional facility.. - Post Offices Near Me - Valencia, California

Please, close this place and have someone investigate this facility. My package from Australia was there for three days before being transferred/ shipped all over the country OK, KS, CO and today it's back here again. When I called USPS I was told the package was undeliverable and is going to be send to the shipper!!!! The shipper sent me a carbon copy and it's my address! There needs to be an investigation as to why they are messing up with people's mail. read more

oh no, here we go again. I just received a notification my Etsy package went to the Santa Clarita Mail Distribution Center. Well you can kiss goodbye the likelihood you will get it any time soon. If you ever see it again, it will sit there literally for weeks and fester and die. how the post office can be so screwed up is beyond me. why they allow it to continually happen is beyond ridiculous. I went in to mail a package and was soaking wet from the rain! I did not have packing tape for my package and the woman who helped me was kind enough to put some tape on it for me. She did not have to, she could have sent me back out in the rain to get packing tape, but as a courtesy she put tape on it for me. I was very appreciative! She was very nice and helpful! I told her she was aptly named as her name is Angel! read more

Does the customer service phone number ever pick up? It is ridiculous. Some of my packages deliver to my address, about 4 others have not in the last year. My address is right and yet USPS/This specific facility in Clarita tries to say insufficient address. Complete BS. No one gives me answers to why when it actually is my right address. This is a ok place. All the bad reviews are mostly about packages I can't speak on that but then again if I had that issue or saw the reviews I'd option it some other place even if I have to drive slightly further. But never the less this is a clean decent place staffed was helpful I'll be getting my passport here so if anything changes I'll update this review. It's a bit hidden but not that bad to find hopefully these photos help as oddly enough there's not enough. read more

My package went from here to Van nuys, and back! 4 days on express delivery. The delivery is 20 miles away! Wtf

They shipped my package to an entirely different state that's not even close to me.. my package has LIVE ANIMALS!!! Now because of their mistake I might end up with dead fish!!! read more

One star is a star to high. Zero stars is the highest rating I can honestly give to this cesspool of a distribution center. Read all the other reviews. Fire everyone there and start all over. Total incompetence and disregard for service. One week after my package arrived there, it is still there. Nobody knows anything. read more

I mailed 2 priority mail packages on March 11. One made it through the center to its destination. The other package is lost but just says it is traveling through the network with no scans. It's last scan was at 3am March 12 when it arrived at Santa Clarita. Luckily I insured it and will file a claim on the 16th. I think USPS has a problem The postmaster general needs to visit this center at 3am in the morning to see what's going on. read more

It is the worst processing center around. I filed a formal complaint for the 2nd time and this time I requested the postmaster to investigate. I have had a package come into the process center and sent to Texas 3 times now. I could have had my package 6 days ago if it weren't for them. We need everybody to complain a formal complaint to get this problem resolved. I posted on FB and took pictures of the routing of my package so I was talking lip smack. Please register to watch the tracking of all your mail and packages, it's the best way to watch what's getting lost or going in circles. read more

My package was supposed to to go to Sacramento from a California address and it's now in Des Moines, Ia. Stay away from this distribution center at all cost. The employees there don't give a f$&@ about you or your mail!!!!!! read more

My mail has been incorrectly routed out of this distribution center to the wrong city on multiple occasions. Just sent a pack from usps in Los Angeles to Downey, CA (20 miles south) and this distribution center routed it north to Sacramento (500 miles up north)! Total incompetency!!! Now it will be 2 more days until it gets to the correct address!!! So pissed!!!!!! read more

I had a package sent to me from out of state in July via DHl and it being turned over to the post office sorting facility n Santa Clarita around July 15 o deliver in Sherman oaks. Unfortunately the tracking no. Is not one we can trace with. It is now nov.22,2021-and still in transit for deliver here in Sherman oaks. Also on Oct 30th mailed a property tax bill from Sherman oaks post office and as of this morning not delivered to the county tax collector. Mail carrier tells me everything here in valley is processed in Santa Clarita. I am nervous about the tax Bill being delivered. I did not have these problems before de joy destroyed machines. I was also told sometimes Mail falls from the machines --but not picked up off the floor. read more

As a side business I sell vintage items online on various platforms and tend to sell + mail a couple items a week. Over the past 4 years the Santa Clarita Mail Processing Center has lost 12+ items I have mailed. That is a HIGH amount. What on earth are they doing in there!? Throwing things out the window? They lost two in December 2022 and two this month (Jan 2023) already so I feel my only recourse aside from submitting a claim (which I will) is to review them here. Unfortunately, all valley mail is routed through them so I have no choice with apps that require USPS. Do whatever you can to avoid mailing through this distro center. I genuinely feel bad for postal workers-- they're largely understaffed and underpaid. So there is either incompetence or malfeasance on the management level here-- or both. (On another site a former employ of this location said they are shocked any mail gets to anyone based on how this place is run.) read more

"A package that I mailed from a Post Office on 08/11/2020 has finally appeared at the Santa Clarita Mail Processing Center. On 08/18/2020. Since 08/15/2020, my package has been "in transit". No geographical information was provided. Perhaps it was sitting in the Santa Clarita Mail Processing Center all the time. I want an answer. Today is my daughter's birthday and I planned enough time to have a 3-day service First Class package be delivered to her. And I absolutely know this is possible because I mailed a birthday (08/22) package to my granddaughter on 08/14/2020, and it was delivered on 08/17/2020." So shady. Typical government failure. I brought a po box statement in six weeks ago, well before the annual fee was due. They said the box was set up to auto pay via credit card. Fast forward to today. The box wouldn't open. Turns out it wasn't set set auto pay, but in fact I wasn't allowed to pay the bill unless it was within 30 days of it being due. So not only did they lock the box to where I couldn't get my mail, they charged a $21FU fee on top of it. Pathetic. read more

This is literally the worst post office I have ever used. Not only will they not help you, they are incredibly rude!!! I bought a PO box here all apt two weeks ago and put in a change of address form. I haven't received one piece of mail any of my packages and I have confirmed deliverys! Shame on you! read more
