The details that they provided made our home come together. If you are lucky enough to work with Anthony or Alic, they are true craftsmen and I cannot say enough good things about their communication, punctuality and skills. The extra time Alic took to blend our flooring (which I was EXTREMELY nervous and picky about!) was amazing. Anthony was able to create perfect wood stain that coordinates with the blend of our flooring perfectly.

Northtown Vacuum in Springfield, Illinois is a quaint little shop. As soon as you arrive at the…read moredoorstep, you can see the delightful sense of humor of the owner, Michael, with the funny doorbell sign. Once inside, you are treated to an array of vacuums (older repaired models as well as brand new Riccar vacuums). Michael is an incredible repairman with a wonderful personality. I took my DC07 Dyson vacuum, which is a wonderful machine that had lost suction. He knew right away what it needed. He demonstrated why with a test using a glove that he wore, as he showed how many fingers it took to stop the vacuum's rotating brush. His knowledge of any and all models of vacuums is incredible. He will tell you straight whether or not a given model is repairable, as many of the flashy new models are severely flawed in their design. He will also accept any broken, unfixable vacuums that you don't want and he will recycle them at no charge. He fixed my Dyson as good as new and I could not be happier. This is a great place and you will not find anyone else in the area that can do what Michael can do.

Thank goodness I found this company (recommended by the city). Brian & Jon showed up promptly same day in (2) well stocked trucks ready to TV, hydrojet, snake machine, etc. These gentlemen never gave up even though my 1959 house had extremely difficult cast iron pipe with a PITA p-trap located in the wall. They spent the better part of the afternoon getting it unblocked and flowing better than ever for $435. Could not be happier !!!!! Shawn (hope I spelled that right), and the very nice office lady were also extremely helpful with the initial consultation as well. You can just tell this company really cares about your problem, will listen, and takes pride in their work. BRAVO !!!!

Competent, and very helpful. So 3 years later we have trouble with the latch on our washer. And I couldn't track down the receipt. I called, and I wish I knew the name of who I talked to...they were great! So helpful and looked up our warranty. The repair man was here the next day, and the part was ordered. I expressed the need for our washer...we have 5 young kids, so going to a laundry mat would be torture, and laundry piles quickly here. He called on Saturday (his day off) and came and fixed our washer!! I couldn't have been more impressed with how they think of their customers!! If you are looking for people that actually know what they are talking about, and are willing to help through the whole life of your appliance...THIS is the place to go! They have definitely gained lifelong customers here.

I thought it needed a new battery. However Cliff examined it and due to his knowledge regarding iPads, he advised me that a battery would not fix the problem and indicated that the "motherboard" (I'm not sure of terminology) would need to be replaced and he advised to get a new iPad. I discussed with Cliff if he could set up the new iPad and also wipe out and upgrade my laptop. I then went to the AT&T store and ordered the new iPad which came the next day. Cliff set up my new iPad and then uploaded all my data from iCloud as my old computer was inoperable. Cliff is very honest, patient with my questions explaining my options and does not talk tech!
