One employee stood over a self checkout to help customer . I guess that's priority, even though I was in line forever. The employee blowing up the balloons had said "I'll help u when I'm done with this"! The rudest employee I've ever encountered. Will never go back. Shop local they say. Just called manager and got the lamest excuse EVER!!!! She said the employee probably didn't know I needed help! Then manager put it on me said "you should have asked for help". WOW!

Yes, they also have quilting fabric, notions and sewing classes, but their bread and butter is sewing machines. I'm giving them a neutral rating because we left the highway to find this place and learned that the hours published on the website do not match the hours posted on a piece of paper in the window. So I have finally learned that it is best to call ahead (for this place, or any quilt shop, for that matter) to be sure the place will really be open when they say it will be. But hey, we ended up visiting Lincoln's Tomb in Oak Ridge Cemetery, so the diversion was not a total waste of time.

The owner Lenny will bend over backwards to accommodate people with reprints, or redesigns even when they are in the wrong. However, some people come in there just for a free design service with no idea of what they want, all they know is whatever you come up with, won't be what they had in mind and get all bent out of shape with you not reading their minds! Or they come in with some crappy image they found on line about 10k in size and want a banner made out of it. Perhaps some of the customers would be better served by looking on Youtube or something to see what goes on in the design process instead of bitching about wanting a six color process and wanting to pay for one.

I picked out several silk bushes that were perfect for my design. I needed a few more items for filler, so was looking around through the regular silk flowers. They had lots of signs that those items were 50% off. I spent about an hour shopping and was very pleased with my selections. I got in line to pay with my on-line coupon. I knew the coupon was good only on items not on sale. I had a piece of Styrofoam that was not on sale, so the cashier applied the coupon to that item. The last 2 items she was going to ring were the two "not Fall" silk pieces. She told me they were not on sale. I explained that there were lots of 50% off signs in that area, so she called someone in the department. A lady came, looked at what I had selected, and went to check. She was gone and gone and gone. Finally, she calls and says those 2 pieces are not on sale. The cashier asked her to come up and get me to show me what was on sale and what was not. I walked back to the flowers because I knew where I had picked them up and where the signs were located. SURPRISE! No signs!!! She walked up and said those are not on sale, but they might be next week. I told her I was just going to buy nothing and she said OK. "OK"??? What kind of customer service is that? I walked up to the cashier and told her she could void the order because I was going to get nothing....her response was OK also! Wow, folks, your marketing and customer service is horrible! My bill would have been between $60 and $70. It's good to know your business is so great that you can afford to lose that type of sale!!
