I received a beautiful arrangement for my birthday from The Flower Connection. It was so fragrant and in a fantastic container. The flowers lasted for more than a week. As a result, I called in an order for a friend and her flowers as well were beautiful and lasted a long time. read more

The Flower Connection - Paula and the crew did a beautiful casket floral spray with short notice due to Christmas holiday closure. - Florists Near Me - Springfield, Illinois

Had wonderful service from Dan at The Flower Connection. My friend totally loved the silk flower arrangement he recommended.

I gave this place a chance after one of the flower shops in Springfield had shut down. I had seen the small place on Jefferson Avenue several times but never realized just how great their work is. I gave the flowers to my significant other for Valentine's Day and she absolutely love them. She actually said they were better than the others so it was a success read more

Fantastic service! I stopped and asked for something I hadn't seen done before and what I called a "miniature grave blanket" for my MIL's who had passed away. She had been cremated and we didn't want a vase or anything on a stand, we wanted something the size of her box. What was delivered was beautiful! Lots of compliments from the family and friends. Thank you! read more

Helpful, timely, great arrangement. It really cheered up our friend, who is in the hospital. Thank you so much!

The Flower Connection went above and beyond today. They delivered flowers and made our traveling buddy feel very special. The arrangement was delivered to Springfield Clinic. We were not sure when our friend had her appointment; but, the person delivering the flowers stayed and made sure she got the flowers. She also wanted the person to be pleased. They cared and that means a lot. Thank you for a job well done. read more

Excellent customer service. Excellent product. Excellent value. This company makes order flowers as easy as possible and gave a stunning arrangement as usual. They always make me look like a hero and like I spend big bucks, when their pricing is extremely fair for what I receive. Thank you Paula and your staff! read more

I have used Paula and before her Sharon for over 20 years. If you want something original and outstanding Paula will never disappoint. This originality extends to both fresh and silk over the years. Now we are ordering wrist corsages for our grandson. No other shop that I know of in town offers suck a wide selection and high quality of silk flowers for corsages, boutonnieres, weddings. They also make the most originally Doorswags that I have seen. read more

I had the most wonderful experience working with Paula at The Flower Connection. From the very first phone conversation I had with her, I knew that Paula was going to be the florist I would choose to do my wedding flowers. She was so open to doing some slightly "out-side-the-box" designs for me. She really understood my vision and was super communicative and enthusiastic throughout the whole process. Paula was also extremely friendly and helpful and overall we just had a great time working with her. We received so many compliments from our wedding guests on the boutonnières, bouquets and centerpieces. I would absolutely recommend The Flower Connection to anyone in the Springfield area looking for floral design. Thanks Paula! You are the best! read more

We used Flower Connection both of our daughters weddings, the most recent July 2, 2016. We knew from the first inprompt to phone call we made on a Saturday when it was almost closing time and Paula's willingness to meet with us, knowing my daughter lived out of town, was the first indication that this was no ordinary florist. Paula is creative and resourceful when trying to create an image that our daughters wanted for their bouquets and floral arrangements for the reception, yet she was able to stay within the budget we provided her. She offered suggestions to ideas they had pinned on Pinterest but made sure her suggestion captured their visions in what they thought they wanted. Not once but numerous times Paula said "I want my brides happy. This is there day." Trust me she lives up to her expectations. Despite both of my daughters working with Paula and her team to create each of their individual dreams of the perfect bouquets and venue decorations, they each had a different flair and idea of what they wanted and Paula created amazing designs that captured each of my daughters individuality. They were both uniquely different and both were beautiful. We received NUMEROUS comments from our guests at both wedding on how beautiful her creations were. Paula is easy to talk to, has an "upbeat" personality and is stress free to work with. She has amazing suggestions to help keep the cost down without changing the look of what each of our daughters invisioned. She even did a mock up of the table florals early in the process to calm my daughters concerns, since they had difficulty invisioning what the final product would look like. We had no worries when it came to the day of the wedding because we had open communication throughout the process. She also was able to incorporate a broach for a deceased grandmother and a tie from a deceased grandfather into each of the bride's bouquet so they had a memory of 2 very special people in their lives that they had hoped could be there for their weddings. I Highly recommend Paula and her team. You will not be disappointed - you will be extremely impressed with her creations. She is one of a kind! Thank you Paula!!! read more

I Definitely would NOT recommend going here. I walked in yesterday to buy some flowers and would've likely bought any arrangement south of 40 dollars. I walked in, (loud bells banging on door) walked up to the front desk and noticed an employee making an arrangement. He was facing me so there is no doubt that he didn't see me. I was wearing a shirt the color of a yellow highlighter. I stood there for awhile and then began looking around the store a little bit. Keep in mind I was not greeted, asked if I could be helped, or told to give just one or a couple minutes until I could be helped. I went back to the front desk and stood. the flower delivery employee arrived, looked at me standing and turned around to talk to another employee without saying anything to me. At this time there are three employees and none of them act like they know I'm there. By now ten minutes have passed. I was NOT happy and explained myself to these florists. I did not spend a dime. I will never waste my time at this place ever again, no second chances from me for poor businesses. instead of buying locally I ended up going to a chain store and was helped immediately. read more
