They are always super friendly and have great prices. I like that it only takes Sandy's a few days to complete my dry cleaning so I don't have to wait too long. I will continue to come here whenever I need my comforter dry cleaned. read more

I literally have all my work clothes at this cleaner.OMG They're also closed on Black Friday!!!I work on Black Friday and all my clothes are being held HOSTAGE!!! We have lived in Arcadia for 20 years and used Sandy's all along. A great, reliable and genuine local business. Last month, I was at a business function and someone hit a candle on a table that splattered across the back of my sport coat. I was certain it was a lost cause, but the team at Sandy's got it all out, good as new! Incredible! read more

I just moved to Arcadia from Calabasas, California. I travel a ton and thus drop off dry cleaning weekly. Decided to use Magic Touch Cleaners as my local cleaners for my clothes. After a month of spending approx $70 dollars a week there, I brought home an expensive white shirt that I only used once. When I tore the wrapper off to put the shirt away I noticed some discoloration in my shirt that wasn't there when I had originally brought it in to get cleaned. So I mentioned this to the owner and he said bring it back. So I did, and a week later I went to pick it up (today). The owner informed me that and I quote, "I talked to the staff and they said this yellow mark (discoloration from excessive heat when dry cleaning) was already on there." I told him if it was already there from the first cleaning why didn't you or your staff bring that to my attention before I left the first time? He had no answer. Terrible customer service for an owner to take a stand like this when he's wrong. It's unfortunate that small business owners don't see the big picture. He sacrificed a good paying client for a short gain in not having to reimburse me for the damage done to my shirt. If you are looking for a honest and affordable Dry Cleaner don't go there. I get this company has been around for 30 years but each are probably individually owned and operated. This guy has no clue on how to operate a small business in terms of offering good quality service. No idea on customer satisfaction. read more

Sandy's Magic Touch Cleaners - Fabric that has been discolored due to their dry cleaning mistake. Shirt was brand new - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

EXCELLENT service, great care with vintage items. Chin is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend for items that need special attention

I took a basic black dress here to get a small tear in the seam fixed ($7 -not bad!) and had them dry clean it while they were at it. The total cost was $21. Wait, what? The dry cleaning was more than the seam fix? I was a little shocked at the price for a normally machine washable dress (...bummed I didn't just wash it myself!). I guess I am spoiled with the great dry cleaning deals at Park Avenue Cleaners. Lastly, it took them TWO weeks to make this small fix and dry clean the dress! They also said that they would call when it was ready but didn't so I had to call and check on it a few times. I may be back if I need alterations/sewing help but definitely not for dry cleaning. And if you're in a hurry and need alterations done FAST, this may not be your place! read more

I have been going to this location for a couple of years. During my last drop off, I asked the gentleman(owner) to tell me what the charge would be since there were three blouses for my wife to be laundered with 2 pants and a shirt. He said he would not know until it is done. Although they do a pretty good job most of the time, their prices seem to be always higher than other places. Anyway not only he talked me to have everything dry cleaned instead. When I came in to pick my laundry today, the same guy charged me $57.00 for 6 pieces. He knows that I would never agree to get it done at this price. Now I clearly understand why he did not want to give me the price up front. I feel cheated and robbed at the same time. Watch out people!!! read more

This dry cleaner does a good job, but, they are outrageously expensive!!! $8 for a dry clean shirt and $25 to alter the sleeves on my shirt. That's almost double what their nearest competitor charges. Nice people and good results but not a good value. read more

I had some items in my car that I was planning on dropping off at the dry cleaners. I drove by the sign that said "green dry cleaning 50% off" at Thompson Peak & FLW location and thought, why not? First of all, my phone number, first and last name were all wrong on the printout I received after dropping off my clothes. I corrected all of this with the employee and left. I start work early and wanted to pick up my items one morning prior to going into work. I checked the hours ahead of time and verified that Sandy's opened at 7am. Upon arrival, nobody was there. 15 minutes later, nobody had shown up. I left. I called later to find out what happened and they explained that someone was not able to come in unexpectedly. I asked the employee to have the manager call me. I never received a call back. As an aside, when you call them you get a busy signal most of the time. I would never again do business with Sandy's Magic Touch. People are busy these days and have to rely on posted hours being accurate. In addition, the manager did not care to follow up with my request to speak with them. That's bad business... read more

I absolutely recommend Sandy's! I took my wedding gown to Sandy's Magic Touch after our wedding covered with grass stains, asphalt, scuff marks and dirt. Sandy's did wonders! The gown is meticulously clean and beautifully preserved in a stunning Keepsake Box. I will post an "after" shot and only wish I was able to post "before" shot, had I thought of taking one with all the scuff marks and stains the gown went in with. Great job, Sandy's! You've earned my patronage and my recommendations! read more

I took a feather comforter and a cotton fill comforter to Sandy's and couldn't believe what a great job they did. Both comforters looked brand new. Sparkling white and fluffy. Bravo Sandy's!!! Really quick, great quality place. All of my dry cleaning was perfect, and they were able to get a stain out that another place couldn't! Also, the sweet owner always walks my clothes to my car which I love. read more

Sandy's Magic Touch Cleaners is a company with such integrity, professionalism, and expertise in the dry cleaning business. Their process is truly organic! It wasn't until I recently had my furniture slip and cushion covers cleaned by them that I understood how high end and top notch this company is. Their delivery van came to my house and picked up my things, then delivered them to my front door. The look and feel of the fabric was transformed into what it looked like 7 years ago, and it was a challenging fabric. There was no chemical or cleaning smell. From start to finish this company took great care to ensure that I would be happy with fabric that I was nervous about getting cleaned. I trust them to dry clean anything I own, and I recommend you do too! Erin W. Scottsdale, AZ read more

We have been using Sandy's Magic Touch Cleaners for the past 2 years now. We are always impressed with the friendly staff and great service. However there cleaning expertise it what brings us back. We dont live so close to their business. There are many closer options. We have brought in clothing items that their stains were not cleaned in the traditional cleaners and Sandy's has done the magic. I think their name is perfect! They have my family's business and would totally recommend you to use it as well. read more

I was visiting the Phoenix area from Chicago. I needed some garments pressed and cleaned in a hurry, right before Christmas. I took the items to Sandys and got them back in about 6 hours. Looking great. On top of this theyre from my home town. Our loss is Phoenix's gain. Great job read more

FLW and Thompson Peak location. The 3 shirts I brought in came back to me with my name inked stained on them. It was like they steamed it with the tag still on it and it bled through. It is stained now. I went back and just asked for my $2.95 back per shirt and they proceeded to tell me it was impossible they did it....Really? It was so obviously done by them and all I wanted was a refund of the cleaning. They kept telling me I was wrong and showed me another random shirt as example that it had no stain. Yea obviously they made a mistake that probably does not happen often on my shirts. Anyway, a simple $9 and I would be fine but the way it was handled was so terrible. Also, you will never see a more empty dry cleaners in your life. After my experience, I am not surprised. I highly recommend spending an extra dollar and going right down the street. read more

Very expensive, 2.60 a shirt and 6 for pants. They told us we'd have everything ready by 2pm the next day, I went back at 2:30 and they told me it would be another 20 minutes. Nearly an hour later it still wasn't ready. Choose another nearby cleaners. read more

My husband and son both have sensitive skin conditions. Since we switched to Sandy's Magic Touch they have had no issues. Both of them wear dress shirts on a regular basis and the no chemical cleaning has been a life changer. Thank you Sandy. The one time I had spot (of unknown origin) on a very expensive fancy dress, Sandy came out front to talk to me personally. And...he did get the spot out. This place is A+++. 5 star rating! read more

Have used Sandy's Magic for years, and have always been happy with his work. I tried discount cleaners, and found the lower price equalled lower quality. I like my pants with one center crease, not multiple ones which I got at discount cleaners. If u like quality and pick up service, I recommend this cleaners. read more

Be very careful when you leave anything with their alterations department. We took a skirt in yesterday, had to come back to have it fitted properly, and was quoted a $50 fee to hem this very full skirt. She told us it would be ready today at 4 PM. I went to get the skirt after an evening phone call last night from the seamstress saying she changed her mind that it would now be $85. I spoke with the owner today and he said he would not honor the price for service we were given when we dropped off the skirt to be hemmed, because the seamstress felt that it was a little bit harder than she had thought. I'm sorry, the honorable thing to do is to adjust the cost and charge the price given when you dropped off the item. Had I known it would be $35 more, I would have taken it to my neighborhood cleaner who charges $45, plus a ten dollar rush fee. Beside the excessive cost, the owner accepted no responsibility for the cost initially given, and had an attitude of he could care less about the cost difference. And to make it worse, the hem is not straight... The tulle and slip are showing on one section of the skirt! They have ruined my daughter's prom skirt, and overcharged us to boot! Please stay away.... Certainly not like the Sandy's we used to know! read more

These people don't even know how to treat wool!!!I have brought clothes here before - mostly because they are close to home and listed as "organic". I told myself this justified their price. I recently brought my favorite wool beanie to them. I thought the hat looked a little scrunched when I picked it up, but figured it was the way they'd put it on the hanger. I didn't put it on until later (who dons a wool cap in the late summer in Phoenix?), but when I went to pack the hat for a trip, I noticed it had shrunk...as in, cannot even get it on my head shrunk. I brought the hat back into the cleaners, and the man kept saying that they he didn't really think it was shrunk - I demonstrated that it no longer fit on my head. Then he started saying that "no dry cleaners would wash wool". I said "I KNOW wool shouldn't be washed. That's why I brought it to YOU - to a DRY CLEANER". He finally agreed to give me a credit - which I did not accept. I wanted a REFUND, as I will not be bringing any more items to this cleaners in future. He did not give a refund. I left and will not be back. read more
