If, however, you have a stain or your garment requires any kind of special treatment, this cleaner will disappoint and possibly enrage you. If your bad experience pushes you to the latter, it will likely be because the place is not only incompetent but arrogant and over-priced. Case in point: I took a knee-length, unlined, belted women's coat there to have a simple stain removed. I took the coat only two days after it was stained and stated plainly (to one of the owners) that the stains were the only reason the coat needed cleaning. I pointed out the stains, and confirmed both the source (greasy water) and the fabric (silk). When I returned to pick up the garment, I immediately saw through the plastic that the stains remained. The employee said, "Hmm, oh, there's a note." The note said that they needed my permission to treat the garment further, due to its stains. Why, I asked, weren't the stains tagged with tape and my permission asked for when I dropped off the garment? If not that, the most logical option, why did no one call me before or during the initial processing? Shrugs. Frustrated, I signed my permission and left. By the time I was half a block away, I thought, hell no, this is stupid and called. I said the fabric was already noticeably dulled from the initial processing (it was originally iridescent) and I was coming back to pick it up. When I got there, I asked for the garment and said I would not pay the $18 since the specific service I had requested had not been provided. The employee called the owner. The owner said I had to pay, that they had processed the garment. With an "F" and "U" I said, "keep it" and left. That's it. We've had other similar experiences with them over the years but this time we are done: We're never going back. Mark's Cleaners is distinguished by three traits: incompetence, arrogance, and excessively high prices.

I highly recommend this business. Joe has even gone as far as to text and call me personally when things have needed to get sorted out on their end or on mine. It's a small base business, which are the ones I prefer to support, and this one does it right.

Been coming here for years, Alex was one of the first employees I got to know, super friendly & helpful! Today I came & used 5 of the 60 lb washers and I mentioned to the attendant, Crystal if anyone ever turned in a laundry card with money on it because I couldn't find mine so I had to buy a new one and load it. She checked the two cards that were turned in, and they were not mine, but she mentioned that she would call the owner to see if they could possibly retrieve the dollar amount on my old card since it was registered in my name, but did not make any guarantees. Within a few minutes, she looked for me and let me know that they are going to put the balance I had on my old card on the new card, which was to me a substantial amount! Crystal is really nice & also helpful. This place is clean, the bathroom can only be opened by an employee and it is very clean and every time I've come the staff are always nice! And I love the fact that it's next-door to a Food city in case you're hungry and want to go get something from their deli! LOL!! If you got a lot to wash and not a lot of time, this is the place to come! Their dryers only take 20 minutes and they dry super excellent! And if your card is registered to your name and phone number, it actually alerts you when a washer and dryer is done! I love it!! The whole handoff was very smooth. I am not sure if it was expensive because I didn't really do any price shopping but for several queen quilts, mattress liners, sheets and some towels it was about $80 (minus the $10 off coupon) -- but well worth it to me! The one thing the attendant didn't tell me was that I needed to bring the receipt back the next day when I picked up the items. When I came back the next day a different attendant was working and asked me for my receipt and then was a little annoyed I didn't have it. I guess it would be weird to have someone else pick up my laundry but why would anyone do that? I had also brought in a couple more quilts when I was picking up my order and she was also annoyed I didn't have my own bag. Overall I was very pleased with the washing and folding so that is why I gave 4 stars but the grumpy attendant should be a little nicer.

We had specifically requested that our clothes be hung, but everything was returned in bags instead. When we reached out to the owner about the issue, the response was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Instead of taking accountability or trying to resolve the problem, the owner blamed us and claimed that the clothes were already in that condition when we sent them in. Mistakes can happen, but poor customer service and refusal to take responsibility make the situation much worse. Based on our repeated issues and the way this was handled, we will not be using this business again. Three bags of clothes were stained by them!!
