I've had to bring back my items the last 2 times...nobody has time for that. I expect more for the price they charge. Here is a breakdown of what I've been charged. $17.61 - black pants - when I took them out of the plastic, they were filthy. Dust and white substance on the bottom hems. I brought back and they recleaned them. $32.23 - belted denim dress - lapel wasn't pressed properly and I had to repress it prior to wearing. $13.20 - silk short sleeve blouse - cowl neck was pressed folded in the front - 2 vertical lines that looked odd. I brought back to have them redo. They fixed it while I waited and commented that they considered charging me $2, but kindly didn't. Their pricing is confusing and there are no prices listed anywhere that I can find. LE truly went above and beyond for me…read more I was referred by Mariee's Bridal in Scottsdale to Suzanne's Sewing to have my wedding dress altered, and unfortunately it turned into a disaster. After my very first appointment, my dress went from fitting perfectly to not fitting at all, and with every subsequent appointment it only got worse. Two weeks before my wedding, I realized I had to take a chance and find someone else. I called Le and she knew even before seeing the dress, she immediately understood what was going on and agreed to see me at the end of her workday. When she finally saw the dress, she was shocked by the condition it was in. It had essentially been slapped together by Suzanne's Sewing. The dress had been stretched out and damaged from being repeatedly taken in and out, and mismatched material had even been added under the arm area and along the sides that looked nothing like the original fabric. LE worked on my dress every single day. During the first week I was in the shop every other day, and the week before the wedding I was there every evening. The night before we left for the wedding, I didn't leave her shop until 3 a.m. Despite the condition the dress was in, LE managed to completely transform it. She made sure it fit me perfectly and that the corrective alterations looked seamless. She even prepared a backup dress for me in case the original dress ripped during the reception because of the previous damage. LE is incredibly skilled and has a remarkable eye for detail. With formal gowns, every adjustment affects the entire structure of the dress. If someone doesn't fully understand how each change impacts the rest of the garment, the results can quickly spiral into bigger problems. LE clearly understands this craft at a very high level. If you are getting married or have a special event, this is absolutely the place you should go for alterations...DO NOT GO TO SUZANNE'S SEWING!

He is a sweet, kind, professional gentleman that is great at what he does! He's been in business for years. Please look beyond the fact that his shop may smell a bit like your grandmother's attic - I see it like he's got that many years of experience under his belt! I just happened to come across Jose one day when I was shopping at 'Active Body' - (will review that one later). A woman there recommended that I go to Jose to get my new jeans hemmed (and yes, he can keep the original bottom by request). I've been so impressed with Jose's work that I've been back time and time again with not only jeans that need alterations, but formal dresses and more! Jose is affordable and will do a quick turnaround if you ask nicely and smile sweetly :) Go give Jose a chance next time you need something altered, sewn, etc... he deserves it!

As I said in my original sentiments, I had a great first experience here and was VERY happy and content with two beautiful dresses... so when I had a black blazer and vintage fur vest to tailor in 2 days I knew this guy can do the job. I ran over there with my clothing. He was pleasant, measured me and said he can complete the job in time... I left happy... When I came back to pick it up though... well I turned my smile upside down... firstly, he informed me that he was unable to do my vest bc it was "too thick" for the machine huh???.... disappointing! He was able to tailor my black jacket but quoted me SIXTY dollars!! really?? the jacket cost me $30 on sale!!! Now I admit it was my mistake to drop off the items without insisting on a pre-job quote (I asked how much it would cost but he told me he can't know until he does the work) I was furious!! this is ridiculously over-priced! I talked him down to 40 bucks in increments of 5 dollars... then I just gave him the money and walked out of there.... wah wah wahhhh.... hmmm still debating whether I'd ever go back there again.

Just look at the photos I posted. This place doesn't care, doesn't take responsibility, and clearly doesn't know what they're doing. Save your money, your time, and your clothes... skip Seville Cleaners altogether. Now I'm stuck with a wrinkled, ruined skirt I can't wear. Just look at the photos they speak for themselves. Here's what happened: I brought in a simple skirt to be pressed. The pleats were done, sure, but the rest of the skirt was completely wrinkled. I asked for a redo, picked it up the next day, and not only were the wrinkles STILL there, but the fabric now looked powdery white. My skirt is completely ruined and unusable. The worst part: The girl at the counter was completely unsympathetic and even tried to gaslight me, insisting she "didn't see any wrinkles or powder" and telling me that if I had a problem, I should "call her boss and take it up with him." Before I walked out, I took photos right in front of her specifically for this review. And for the grand finale... Said Boss is nowhere to be found! He hides behind his employees. They'll answer the phone, but somehow he's "never available." Three days, no call back. Shady business, period.
