The charging process couldn't have been easier. Also noteworthy are the wide parking lanes, and easy access to the chargers. Pete was accommodating, both on the trade of my 2004 Sienna, but also with the needed paperwork for out-of-state registration as I was driving it back to my home state (Nevada). There were no high-pressure sales tactics, the pricing was fair, and the paperwork was straightforward. There were no onerous 'documentation fees,' which fall into the same category as 'resort fees' charged at some hotels. One expects the paperwork for a car sale to be completed by the dealership as part of the purchase price. Some new car dealers charge as much as $900 for this 'service.' If you want to be treated fairly, without games and pretentiousness, Pete and PG Motors are the entities you want to be dealing with when replacing vehicles. I am still driving the vehicle at 190,000 miles on the odometer, and it shows no signs of letting me down.

After searching around at various dealerships & online for a month we found this gem of a place specializing in used minivans. Pete was super easy to work with, no hassles and great customer service. No problem letting us test drive and getting the vehicle inspected and I would definitely recommend this place to friends/family. The price was great and we are now the happy owners of a 2015 Sienna! He texted this summer asking if we had any work for him, as he was running a special. We had him detail two of cars, and they were both very mediocre jobs. He also let me know he had been training to do contractor/handyman types of jobs, specializing I think in electrical work. We hired him (and paid him!) to put in a door, and he had no idea what he was doing. The door wasn't sealed, the lock was stuck and the window wouldn't open. He was also supposed to do several other things (hard wire a new light fixture, put up our Ring, and put up at blind on our front porch). All of it was included in the price...or "thrown in". Well after he "put in" our door after watching YouTube videos on how to do it, when I went to look at it, I told him it looked problematic, and he rushed off, telling me he had to get somewhere. He left all of his stuff even, he was in such a hurry. Well, I texted a few days later, telling him of the door issues, and that we needed the rest of the work done, and he would not reply, and then eventually after harrassing him, he would reply with lie after lie about how busy he was, family in town, had stuff going on, etc. He finally said "do you want me to refund you or come back and fix it all?", and I said we wanted our money back. He said he'd venmo it right away; of course that didn't happen. I sent him a few Venmo requests to remind him, never heard again. Total rip off, scammer, dishonest. So sad.

We recently purchased our first travel trailer (a used Rpod) from the Sandy Funtime RV location…read more We're happy with the trailer but our purchasing experience could have been better. We bought it from out of state without seeing it, so all the paperwork was done by email/mail. Communication was lacking on the back end, after we had agreed on a price. The paperwork came from Haugen RV, which was odd; no one told me it would come from someone other than Funtime. They also sent all the paperwork to the incorrect address, despite my written instructions with correct address, which took a week or so to figure out. They required that we send full payment based on a one page purchase order with no details as to their obligations to inspect, clean, etc. and before providing any report from the "pre-delivery inspection." They said this was standard procedure, but I thought it seemed strange. I would prefer to know if something turned up on the inspection and to know what each party is agreeing to before sending full payment. More troubling was the filthy condition in which the trailer was delivered to us. The salesperson at Funtime stated by text: "Its in very good shape needs a detail which we will do and a pre delivery inspection." The Haugen general manager who handled the purchase paperwork also confirmed it would be cleaned before shipping. However, it arrived with dirt on the floor and in the drawers/cabinets and smudges and cobwebs on the walls. The bathroom was particularly dirty (see photos). The exterior was also in need of a good scrubbing as the trailer had been stored outside. I emailed the manager to let her know we were disappointed that it was not detailed as promised before delivery (or at least given a basic cleaning!!) and did not receive a response. Spending a weekend cleaning out the previous owner's grime wasn't supposed to be part of the deal. It certainly left us with a bad impression of this dealership.

The trailer was poorly prepared. Solar not hooked up. Lug nuts not torqued. Sunset 139T. One lug took a full rotation the rest where at about 46 ftlbs. Buy a torque wrench and check your wheels. Not Funtime but terrible electrical work on this rig. Loose live wires. The leaf spring shackle bolt was not tightened. Could have died coming down Santiam Pass. I do like the 139T toy hauler but having to go through a new rv and make it safe sucks. There is a yellow wire on the same screw as the battery before the fuse just hanging out. The reverse wire from pigtail was cut in the household metal junction box, not capped. The fuse from the battery is loose in a metal box exposed terminals that can short out. I got lucky and the axle did not fall off. I found the spring shackle bolts where loose when installing SumoSprings. I have photos and videos. The last photo is at the dealer with a tangle of wires hanging down. That should have stopped me. When they prep it they mean cut the shrink wrap off the cushions. Took some time for me to get the head installed as the winter out here prevented me from getting this completed. I got the head installed and started the engine. Me, I had to wonder how they sealed the crack in the pre combustion chamber. I sent email to ricks email address and got no response. I called and got a garbled recording.. could tell if the message recorded. I called again and spoke to Jerry. He said this never happens and he will see if someone could get on the internet to look at the picture I sent. Then told me that he installed a overheat freeze plug and if the sensor failed the warranty would be void. The crack that I found after removing the head was on the same cylinder and it COOKED the water entering the Cylinder "SEE attached Picture." Jerry never called back and I had to buy a rebuilt head for 800.00 on top of the money he would not refund 450.00 for the 5 minutes of time I ran the engine. the 100.00 for the head gasket. the 120.00 paid for shipping up and back and the loss of time changing out the head. --The Good news -- NO problem with the rebuilt head I bought on Ebay to replace this poorly welded / repaired Head done by Jerry and Josh.

I have taken a lot of heads here over the years to have them checked out and Rick's has always done a good job with them at a great price. My most recent project was a rebuild on a 6.0 Ford diesel. We took the heads to Rick's and he x-rayed them and said they had some cracks and would need to be repaired. He even gave me a picture of the cracks. I told him go ahead and do it. They we started to further take apart the motor and there was more bad news, and so I told Rick to hold off on repairing the heads. This turned out to be a very expensive project not because of the head repair but everything else just added up. So I went on like that for about 2 weeks telling him to repair the heads and then calling back and telling him to hold off until I was sure I would be band from their shop forever. What got me to finally commit is an east coast shop who is the experts with these 6.0 heads told me I was in great hands. Also the guys from Rick's told me they get about 6 of these heads in every week for repair and they never hear anything negative back. I have no reason not to believe them as they have always done me right in the past. Anyway they repaired the heads and I am still getting things put back together but I am confident in their work. The repair in total was $750 and took about a week once I committed to it, but only because they had a guy out the week before and were running behind. Normally I think they are only a day or 2 out.
