We had an absolutely amazing time at Sandbox! This was our first visit, and we came to celebrate my son's birthday. From start to finish, the experience was flawless and incredibly fun. A huge thank you to Gisselle -- she was wonderful! She made sure we knew exactly what to do and helped make everything smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. The best part was the surprise at the end: when the team found out it was my son's birthday, they set up a special VR birthday moment just for him. It was such a cool touch and made the experience feel truly magical. Worth every penny! Thank you all for making our night unforgettable!

I came here for my birthday and had the best time! I'm forever young so I jump at the chance to do any kind of fun, active outing. Plus, I'm a huge fan of Squid Games. Choosing this game was a no brainer. We can't wait to come back and shoot zombies! I've done vr before but this is especially awesome because you get the side by side video to relive the adventure! i only wish they recorded the entire session. But, even the snippets are still really cool. i highly recommend Sandbox VR over any other VR out there.

Best out of the 4 of the group! Get the Crossbow!

Went with a group of 4 of us and had a great time! The checkin process was straight forward and easy. We ended up choosing the New Zombie map and was honestly a fun one! Lots of pop-up scared and pretty tricky if you don't have teamwork! Ended up winning the game and felt a bit too short with 4 people - was about 20 minutes and should be more difficult with more people or something. Regardless - was a good time and staff was super sweet!

GAME ON!!!

We went today for my son's lincoln 15th birthday. Spencer A and Hector where there to greet us and get the boys ready to fight some zombies. They were really nice and helpful in explaining all the info for them. I would recommend this place and I love that they give us a video of there experience at the end.

The setup is nice but we drove a hour, for my boys to play for 20 mins. They were rushed, and the equipment kept freezing.

Ask the Community - Sandbox VR

Is it safe/do you have equipment for 6 year olds?

Thank you very much for your inquiry. All of the equipment is safe, but is a little bit on the heavier side. It is suggested that the player be 7 years or older to comfortably play. However, there are always exceptions as children come in all shapes… Read more

How long does it take to receive your video through email?

We got ours within a few minutes of leaving.

Can we get the the full video? We just got our trailer and it is very short

Unfortunately we don't provide the full video of the experiences. We provide 2 trailer style videos to the experience that showcase what you see in the game and what's going on in real life; both at no cost. We do encourage live streaming if you… Read more

Is there an age minimum?

Must be 48" or taller and be able to support the weight of 20lbs for up to an hour. This is the equipment you have to wear and carry in your hand. My 12 year old nephew is athletic build, he had a blast but definitely tiring!

How many people can you accommodate?

Thank you very much for your question! The experiences have storylines that accommodate up to 6 players. We do larger parties and just split them among our other rooms. You can either book the rooms or call at (562) 888-8753 to hear about our party… Read more

Do you play All of the games or just the one you choose?

You pick one game and play for the allotted time.

How much is it per person?

It is $42 per player Monday-Thursday; $45 per player Friday-Sunday

How long does a gaming session last?

It is about 10-15 minutes of signing in, listening to rules, getting all the gear on, then you get a 3-5 minute tutorial for whatever game you're playing, after that it is 25-30 minutes of gameplay. Afterward it takes 5-10 minutes to get out of the… Read more

I have motion sickness and Ican not ride 3D/4D rides without feeling queezy. I can not watch the classic Star Wars movie because it was too shaky for me. Hell, (spoilers) i didnt even know they blew up the death star because i couldnt watch the ending of the first movie! I can't do Star Tours, soaring over the world/california, spinning rides, playing first person shooter (fps) games...get the picture? I had to try this for myself to say if I truly can or can not do VR. There are "moving" elements in this VR game that can cause motion sickness. Standing still as your surroundings move is a major part of this very immersing game! You will also be going "up/down" ramps on a flat service, so that will throw off your equilibrium. Defying virtual physics is what Dennis explained. I had my ways to gain back my center and refocus as I was playing this game. If you wear glasses, please bring them, it will help! I thought I had mine, but I forgot it. The staff will help you get calibrated with the equipment and send you on your way. At one point, my vr set started to get blurry so I had a hard time seeing the enemies, but they were big enough to see when they're "five feet" in front of you, lol. It also got blurry because sweat was starting to form around my eyes. This is going to be a very lengthy review. First off, parking is a little confusing if you're not from the area. I had to circle three times to park on the same side as this venue. There is a parking structure on the opposite side of the street. All structures give you 90 minutes free without the need of validation. Then, it can go up to $25 for the maximum structure price. The venue is like the TARDIS. It's bigger on the inside, haha. The door remains locked, but they have a ring doorbell that contains a phone number to call for someone to come open the door for you. Talk about a personal greeting! When you first walk in, you have a set of stairs. They also have a handicap lift, so they are ADA compliant! Kudos! They have a row of stationery equipment that allows you to run/walk in place and turn. They also have a two-seater ride. They have 5 seatbelts that will strap you in for safety. One for each shoulder, one for your lap, and one each for your feet. They also have an overhead bar that you pull down as if youre actually on a Rollercoaster. If you ride the Rollercoaster one, you will get sick. You will experience the motion, but you won't get the effect (wind/air) of a moving vehicle. They have a wall of lights set as an aquarium as a little seated waiting area. They suggest optimum fun and experience, 6 to 8 people in your party. That is also how many guests can play in each area. They have two areas that are meant for 8 players, their pvp area and their main floor. Get this! They have an escape room, max is 6 players! I definitely want to come back and try this one! Another area is family friendly and is great for up to 6 people as well. Dennis explained to us that the reason this place has the word "World" in this establishment is because these rooms came from all over the place! I think he said the family friendly room was from china/taiwan/japan...etc.. so that's pretty cool! They have a little area where you can host a party, but it's not secluded, it's open to the public. This venue is open to the public and walk-ins are good, but you may have to wait. Dennis mentioned some guest had to wait 2-3 hours until their turn. The guest did leave a deposit to ensure their spot in line. So they suggest to book online to set up a reservation. Each gaming area is about a 30 minute session. You will sweat because you will be moving a lot. It is a workout! Only one sad note, I wish there was more air flow in the building. Because I have motion sickness, I needed fresh air to cool me down. This was a fun experience and I do intend on coming back!

Our friend broke a club here and the policy at the time was that the rentee had to pay for the price of a brand new club even though they were renting a used club. after voicing my opinion, they decided to change the policy and agreed that people who break a rental club should just pay for the value of a used golf club. I've never seen a business go above and beyond and meet customers in the middle ground like that so it really meant a lot to me. We came back again in March again and service was significantly better. They were very attentive and were very helpful with showing us how to work the machines. There are a lot of different play modes but putting is one of my faves because I suck at swinging. The private rooms are really cool's because you can sing & swing at the same time!! The kimchi pasta and rose dukbokki are so tasty and the Korean fried chicken is so fire. The honey garlic was my fave flavor for the friend chicken. Parking here is also super easy. Prices have definitely been going up and prizes are harder to get (recession indicator fr), so I admittedly have started playing less. I only come when I need to blow off some steam or there's a prize I really want. Round 1 has an AMAZING selection of plushies During my last visit, I had some great encounters with a couple of the workers! I had some issues regarding the app and connecting my card, and one of the managers stationed at the bowling area was super nice and walked me through connecting a new card and ensuring I got my points for it! Oddly enough, they felt very well-staffed for a Wednesday, and there was plenty of staff on the floor that day to help me reset a couple of times, whenever the token plush dropped out of claw's reach. There was one worker who came right when I needed him and helped reset the token back within claw's reach. I got my usahana that night!!! I wish I remembered their names so I could shout them out! They really made my night after a rough day.
