They have a bar area, a front area with a few tables, and a few tables outside for patio seating. All of the servers and bartenders are on top of it while providing great service and make great suggestions when you're undecided on what to drink or eat. On my last visit, I ordered the What She's Having cocktail, which was balanced and refreshing. My go to is the Strawberry Fields which is sweeter. We also ordered the bacon wrapped dates and Napa panini. The dates are one of my favorite dishes here. The panini was really good and I enjoyed the chicken and pesto sauce. It was served with potato chips. I'll continue to keep The Local on my rotation of bars and meeting spots.

It was a little loud for her to hear our order because of the music. I do wish the music was a little quieter because we were shouting at each other to talk sometimes. My bestie loves table card games and I love video gambling bars, so this spot is perfect for us to both do our own thing while still hanging out together. I saw that they also have slots, keno, and a few other games I didn't try. I liked that I didn't have to get the bartender's attention and wait a long time when I was ready for a second drink. I always feel a little awkward asking for drinks when they're comped, so I like that the bartender here noticed when my drink was empty and offered me another one. I didn't have to feel like I was begging for free stuff and I could just focus on my games instead of trying to flag down a bartender. Love that! So much more fun that way. This should go without saying but ALWAYS TIP YOUR BARTENDERS, especially when they're serving you comp drinks! My only tiny crumb of criticism for this place is that the lighting is so bright. The beautiful ceiling and overall ambiance would be so much more attractive if it was more of a warm ambient glow, not a bright fluorescent white. As I've heard this ALoft is a very new hotel, and it shows (in a good way!). They have a nice ambiance and between their furniture and the rest of the ALoft lobby, there is a pool table, there are board games and TVs, there's also an outdoor patio to take drinks. I've tried their food once, their burgers were pretty good. For drinks, I tried one of their seasonal Smoked Old Fashioned's (made with Buffalo Trace) which was pretty good and a good price ($13), as well as their frozen drinks (pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris, $15 each). Two different bartenders worked my drinks this trip and they both did a good job. I've enjoyed hanging out in Vegas off-strip and Henderson, I still have a fun time, I've gotten good food and drinks that weren't so pricy. Very good experience from a hotel bar that didn't break the bank.

So I contacted the restaurant and informed them that we wanted a reservation for four and that was my wife's birthday. I was contacted and told that they would do something special. We showed up and the front girl was "perfunctory at best". We were seated and waited 20 minutes before we received any water or chips. However, the staff was busy bustling to set this large table in the middle of the dining room for a group that wouldn't show up for 10 minutes. They literally had their chips, salsa, water etc. 10 minutes before we did and we weren't even there. When we did get a waitress she was perfunctory and less than friendly. When I told her we were there for my wife's birthday her answer was "oh that's nice". Far cry from "we will make the evening special for you". We got our food which was fine but absolutely nothing. Throughout the meal the waitress spent all of her time chatting with the large group in the middle - obviously her friends or whatever because they got five star service while we were simply ignored. If we wanted to get a refill of a glass of water or in my father-in-law's case, some sour cream, had to literally get up and pull her away from her buddy table to get service. In addition, not a happy birthday, dessert nothing. So much for trusting the manager when she said that she was going to comp the meal or even at the minimum do something to celebrate the birthday. If we went to something as mundane as Applebee's my wife would've got a piece of cheesecake lol. Very disappointed in this place. We love the food but the service is just crap.

It has the most delicious honey balsamic and pesto The ribeye is consistently good- the potato purée is by far one of my favorite things to eat there I didn't see the carrots on the menu. They are also one of my go to's. My girlfriend had the duck confit and said it was absolutely amazing and her husband had the pasta. The carrot cake is to die for and they're simple bread and butter. Services is delicious too. We live in Henderson and we would love to see this restaurant stick around, so please come visit. You won't be disappointed.
