First time here, it's ok poke. The fish was fresh but I wasn't a big fan of the huge pieces of salmon, it was just too big. I enjoyed their mix ins and their sauces. The store was pretty empty and very light on their salad and zucchini, the salmon and some other ingredient for a Saturday afternoon ... I ordered thru DoorDash about 24 mins before arriving and expecting it to be ready by then but it wasn't... so I guess no point of ordering ahead of time . The place was run by only one person so i guess she didn't have time to work on my order (24 mins) Overall, it's a ok poke place if you around the area and u crave for it, but definitely you can find better one somewhere else.

Decided to doordash some hand rolls since there was a get one buy one deal. Big mistake. They are big but just full of rice seemed to me like a cup of sushi rice to a tablespoon of filling and the filling was mediocre at best. Neverhad a bowl here will one day try it and maybe that would be better

My husband and I were craving some fresh fish, so we stopped by since we live nearby. The inside was very clean but completely empty when we arrived. We were served by who we assume was the owner, but unfortunately the interaction wasn't very welcoming. The overall attitude felt off-putting, as if he didn't really want to serve us. Sadly, I have to agree with other recent reviews mentioning unfriendly service. I ordered the three hand rolls (salmon, California, and spicy tuna), and my husband ordered a large poke bowl with tuna and salmon to go. I wouldn't order the hand rolls again--the rolls were about 80% rice and very light on fish. When the California roll ends up being the best one, that's usually a red flag. The poke bowl, however, met expectations, and the quality of the fish was satisfactory. Overall, I'm not sure I would recommend this spot. The service left a bad impression, and the prices felt high for the portion sizes. Parking: Large shared lot with multiple businesses; should be no problem finding parking.

Very clean and welcoming atmosphere providing delicious fresh quality poke bowls. Food: Charred salmon bowl - 5/5 - torched to your liking from lightly to well done Build your own bowl - 5/5 - love all the fresh proteins, veggies and array of toppings that are avid to add on Ambience: Small to medium seating area Service: Fast and friendly

Doordash had a deal so decide to give it a try! Love the varieties of toppings /garnish order and the sauces I order the larger option , the tuna and salmon order was fresh, enjoyed the abundance of garnish and the spicy sauce I order was actually spicy the way I like it !!Worth a stop if you want a fast simple meal

If you come here...just get the poke bowls. My daughter got the poke bowl and she likes it. As for the hand rolls....it's not worth it. We asked for wasabi and we didn't even get that.

Coco was amazing and so sweet! This is a great place and I can't wait to come back in to dine in. Lovely spot so many options!!

Big portions with good quality fish and toppings! I ordered takeout from here and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the poke bowl. The miso salmon was great, though the tuna quality was a little lower. They have many options for toppings and sauces. Can't say much about the service and ambiance, but I would definitely order from here again!

The place was empty and very clean. I went during the grand opening and had an overall positive experience and decided to come back. Today I walked in and was instantly welcomed by the chill vibes and worker. The worker helped guide me through their options and was very kind to the very end. She offered me a student discount and had a warm smile the entire time. My only complaint was that they charge for seaweed salad and avocado. I can understand the avocado charge but I've never been to a place that charges for seaweed salad.

Hand rolls (salmon, tuna, and California). They were a bit too generous on the rice, but was delicious overall

We got the "special" buy one pound get the next pound free so we did shrimp. We got shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes, and dungeness crab with the special blend in one bag. The hook and reel special blend was honestly pretty gross it was sweet, Smokey and not very buttery or salty at all. We asked for lemon pepper and extra butter to put inside(which was an extra charge) it made it a little better but I've definitely had better elsewhere. The garlic noodles were really good they had a soy sauce flavor, garlicky and cheesy. The price was pretty expensive considering I've spent $30 less elsewhere. Here at hook & reel I spent $96 The service was good. She was very kind and helpful but also wasn't very attentive. The restaurant and the bathrooms were very clean. Overall I wouldn't come back and I recommend going to Captain crab in Elk Grove it is so much better tasting and cheaper!!

It's a decently sized restaurant capable of accommodating at least 60 people. When we arrived, there was already a group of at least 20 people in the rear, and they were able to accommodate our group of 6 children and 6 adults. Although there was a bit of a wait for the food because they were short staffed, we had the happy hour menu to choose deals from and entertainment from the large group's karaoke to keep us busy in the meantime. When the food came out, I was surprised to find such tasty, and, large crawfish and shrimp on our table! The food was piping hot and the portions nice and big. I especially loved that the seafood came out in metal bowls instead of the plastic bags every other boil place serves their boils in. Extra points to them for being environmentally friendly! After a few bottles of soju, our group decided to partake in the free karaoke too, and we had a great time belting our hearts out. All in all, we loved the fair prices, delicious food, kid and family environment, and will definitely be back the next time we're in town. Thanks for the awesome night, Crab City!

We had dinner at Seafood House Quan Oc, and everyone definitely came hungry! Sokny and our daughter Skylie went with the seafood boil, and it was excellent! The seafood came with a delicious curry-style sauce that had so much flavor. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal! Our niece Maddie and youngest daughter Laila enjoyed the kids' chicken wings and fries, and Maddie also really liked the eggrolls. We shared an appetizer of crab cheese wontons, which were another hit. My mom had the garlic noodles, while I went with the fish fillet with rice and salad -- and it was all great! For drinks, Skylie had a Thai tea, while Sokny tried a Black Superman and a lemon drop. The lemon drop was unfortunately more lemonade than vodka, but hey... we still had a good laugh about it! Overall, the food was fantastic, but what made the night special was simply being together as a family. 10 years of marriage, lots of memories, and many more to come. Thank you to my beautiful wife for sharing this journey with me. I love you, Sokny!

Despite the many customers, my husband and I waited only a couple of minutes because the staff was quickly seating people as tables were cleared. Once we were seated, our server came over shortly to take our order. I ordered the shrimp noodles since they're currently available for a limited time, and the sha-bang bang shrimp since I don't ever remember seeing that on the menu before. The server quoted us 20-30 minutes for the food, but it took a fraction of that time for food to start coming out. The sha-bang bang shrimp was the only item that was close to 20 minutes, so I don't recommend ordering it if you're showing up starving. The shrimp noodles were definitely coated generously with flavor. With 5-6 decently-sized shrimp mixed in, I thought it was a reasonable price. It felt more like a dish you could make at home from a premade pack, but it still hit the spot for me. The sha-bang bang shrimp had a nice light deep-fried exterior, but what killed it for me was how much seasoning they threw on. I found myself rubbing some of the seasoning off on the table (they put a fresh table cover down for newly seated tables). If heavy seasoning isn't your style, I definitely recommend requesting light seasoning or maybe asking them to put it on the side. You can order an extra side of rice to balance it out too. Also, I didn't expect the side of sausage to be so big. We ended up taking most of it home because it was just so much protein on top of the shrimp we already ordered. I probably won't be returning here anytime soon, but the new dishes were decent. Also, our server gave us the perfect amount of attention. She checked on us now and then and made sure our water was full (boy, did we need water).
