It was terrible: overcooked, sticky, and completely flavorless. Thankfully the portion was tiny. I gave it a second chance and tried the sushi. I expected a basic combo like every NYC place offers. Nope. And if you try to build your own, it ends up costing more than actual NYC prices. The roll was a good size, but it fell apart instantly. And the waitress handed me two soy sauce packets, two!. Even the cheapest NYC takeout spot gives you a container or a handful of packets, not a strict ration. This isn't a fancy restaurant. You can tell it used to be a sports bar, yet somehow it's pricier than NYC and the portions are small. Save your money and your patience.

We were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere when we walked thru the door. It was early and not very crowded yet and we were seated immediately which is rare in our neck of the woods. Our server was busy but very helpful and took our drink order quickly. We ordered small house salads, Hibachi chicken and a Sofia Roll which included cooked salmon, avocado and cream cheese! The food was served hot in a timely manner. We enjoyed everything and loved our new find. Parking was easy in the lot and prices were average. We will be back!!

We had a wonderful lunch here…read more They weren't busy when we came in. Just a couple other tables were occupied. One room is the regular dining room, and the other is a huge sushi bar taking up the length of the restaurant. The restaurant is a Korean restaurant with Sushi and Dim Sum and a few other Chinese meals. The regular menu is large. Plus, if you are there during the week, ask for their lunch menu. My husband ordered their sushi bento box from the lunch menu. It came with a house salad with ginger dressing and miso soup to start. The salad was crisp, and he liked the ginger dressing. The miso soup was served hot and had pieces of tofu in it. The bento box had 5 pieces of sushi and a half hamachi roll (he could have also chosen a half tuna instead). He said the fish was very fresh and delicious. I started with an avocado salad -- from the main menu. It had a lot of slices of avocado on top of the lettuce with cucumbers and tomato. There was a vinegar-based dressing on top of the salad. It was good, but I preferred the ginger dressing which I got a bit of on the side. Then I ordered a few items from the Dim Sum section of the menu. I started with their turnip cake. It was perfectly cooked on the outside and soft and creamy inside. It's one of my favorites and usually if they do this one well, then all the others are good. I'd wanted to try their shrimp stuffed eggplant or the crispy shrimp with taro but they didn't have any of these in house. So I had their classic steamed crystal shrimp dumplings. I liked these as well. We had very good and friendly service throughout. We even got a taste of two of their kimchi's as a comp offering. There are a number of Korean dishes and combos with different soups and grilled meats and fishes that we'd like to try. I know we will be back here -- I'm hoping that it is sooner rather than later.

Headed over shortly after learning about it on IG on Friday. I sat at the sushi bar and had the…read moresushi entree that comes with 9 pieces of nigiri and a spicy tuna roll. All the fish was very good and they use fresh yellowfin which is a big plus. I also had an appetizer of Korean pork dumplings which were simple and tasty. Unfortunately they didn't have Uni or any of the fish bellies. The chef said they couldn't buy them bc they're brand new and don't have the customers yet. Hopefully they'll speculate soon, bc people aren't going to be happy when they do show us and several top offerings are unavailable. I will definitely be back and I look forward to trying Korean entrees and dim sum soon. Ambience is nice and comfortable.

I was warmly greeted and given menus and water right away. I sat at the sushi bar area as I was by myself. I reviewed the menu which had quite a few yummy sounding dishes. I was craving sushi so I ordered 2 rolls and a jasmine tea with Boba. The food came out relatively quickly. The Tuna tasted very fresh as did the rice. Overall for 2 rolls and a drink my bill came to just over $20.00, which is pretty good. I could smell someone ramen which smelled amazing. I look forward to going back to have dinner there.

I had some expectations considering that most elites were raving about how good this place was. My first impression of this place was that wow this place must have been in the same spot for years with a lot of regulars. Interior seating seemed limited, but while we were there, there were consistent togo orders so the limited seating did not keep people away. Our server was welcoming, patient, and friendly. She was there a second before we needed her, she cleared our table before the next dishes arrived, and we didn't feel rushed but well cared for. We ordered the hamachi jalapeño, crab Rangoons, donkatsu ramen with pork belly, tuna, chutoro, and Otoro nigiri's. We also got matcha's for Togo. Two things that stood out to me, one, the prices were super cheap, and two the nigiri's tasted surprisingly good for their prices. Overall I was thinking that this must be a hidden gem in Pompano Beach area that not too many people know about despite the restaurant having been there for years. I wasn't too hungry today but my fiancee and I were already talking about coming back here to try some of their rolls next time. Yes I recommend this place to others!
