I highly recommend Fit Food Fresh. Overall, I give this service a solid A and will be a long-term customer. I have tried 3 prepared meal delivery services over the past couple of months. Of the 3, I truly like and recommend Fit Food Fresh and one other (but, Fit Food Fresh is better). Personally though, I like Fit Food Fresh over the other service I also recommend. Below are my thoughts and comparisons of the two and why Fit Food Fresh is my top choice. The one that I did not like and wouldn't recommend is Factor75. Most important - the food. The food from Fit Food Fresh comes well packaged and a good size portion. I am never hungry and sometimes it is a little more than I actually need. The other service I recommend and Fit Food Fresh are the same when it comes to this. Also, the food is tasty and well-prepared. Overall, I would give the food an A. On this point, I'd give the other service I recommend a B+. Honestly, I think the taste of the Fit Food Fresh food is better (even though the other one is also pretty good). To be clear, almost every meal I have from Fit Food Fresh is delicious and leaves me really happy. On the other hand, the other service, most meals are good, but dont leave me saying, wow, this was great. One positive of Fit Food Fresh is the seafood is wild caught. Also, the quality of the chicken Fit Food Fresh uses in meals that are stuffed (lasagna, burritos), etc. seems to be better. I feel like Fit Food Fresh is using chicken breast for everything (and not lower quality dark meat). The other service, I haven't been able to find out if they use wild caught or farm raised. seafood Also, for standalone chicken, the quality is good, but when they stuff things like lasagna or burritos, it seems like they sometimes use lower quality chicken meat. Fit Food Fresh wins on this point. Breakfast options. This is where Fit Food Fresh is more limited. The other service has more breakfast options. But, what I have ordered from Fit Food Fresh is tasty. The deciding factor for me on any given week is the particular menu and what dishes I want that week. Ideally, I would order from Fit Food Fresh in light of all of the above (as I do like the food a lot better from Fit Food Fresh), but sometimes if the menu from the other service is more enticing, Ill order from them (or a combination of both). Over the past few weeks, I've started to order exclusively from Fit Food Fresh as the options are just as enticing, but I like the food a lot better. Delivery. Fit Food Fresh is much more convenient than the other food delivery service I like. Their deliveries come at reasonable hours during the day. For example, Sunday my meals have been delivered between noon and 6 pm. This is much better than the other service I like. The other one, delivers in the middle of night between midnight and 6 am. I live in a gated community with no guard, so need to leave my phone on to let them in. This is really annoying and I end up getting woken up in the middle of the night. Also, the food ends up sitting out for a few hours until I wake up to bring it in. This isn't a problem for Fit Food Fresh since they come in normal hours where I am awake and can bring the food straight inside and put in my fridge. Flexibility. Fit Food Fresh is much better than the other service I recommend with regards to flexibility. Fit Food Fresh you can order as little or as many meals as you want. Some weeks I order 10+ and others I may only order 3. On the other hand, the other service has a minimum of 10 meals per week. This provides a lot less flexibility and some weeks I may not want as many meals. Pricing. Pricing is transparent and you can easily compare and see for yourself. From a pricing perspective, I think it is fair. Some services are slightly cheaper and others are slightly more expensive. Fit Food Fresh does charge a premium for some dishes (not many), but all in all, it about evens out. I think they are reasonably priced for the quality, portions, and service they provide. Customer service. They are responsive, have a chat on their website that is monitored and, when I reached out about my billing "issue", the owner immediately responded on chat and asked if we could discuss on the phone. I own several local restaurants in town and recently moved my offices behind Fit Food Fresh. Despite having food from our restaurants at our beck and call, our busy team often orders in food. Today I decided to give FFF a try and grabbed a few meals for the office and WOW. Their team was beyond friendly and extremely knowledgeable when it came to some dietary restrictions someone has. We had an array of dishes from fresh grilled salmon bowls to Keto balsamic & rosemary chicken. Everything was fresh, full of flavor and the portions were huge. I've had a couple of bad experiences with local meal delivery companies but this was an absolutely amazing experience from the time I walked in the door until we all had lunch. I also like that they don't lock you into contracts. It makes it so easy to plan around a busy schedule. This is the first time I've ever ordered from a meal service company I can honesty say - I'm loving it! The process of ordering is so simple. You can place your order either over the phone or over the computer. You can choose your own meals. You can choose how many orders you'd like to receive. And there's no minimum amount of orders you'd need to order. However, there is a delivery charge of $15 per week unless you'd like to pick up your meals from them. My fiancé and I are starting week 2 today! Last week, we ordered lunch and dinner for Monday through Friday (a total of 20 meals). This week, we did the same. But maybe next week I'll order a couple extra meals for the weekend. We've ordered from the categories of: Healthy Gourmet, Paleo, Plant Based, Crazy Clean, Cold Items and Fit Food Fresh Favorites. My favorite category is Healthy Gourmet and my least favorite category is Crazy Clean. My favorite meal by far is the Fit Food Fresh Favorites In-House Ground Beef Meatloaf. I'm a very picky eater, and I don't like to eat bland food. These meals are amazingly DELICIOUS. It's fresh, healthy and is fit for all kinds of palates. The food is so tasty and if you are worried about eating bland food, they have that issue solved!!! There is almost always a little container of salsa, guac, chimichurri, tzatziki, or some kind of sauce, you name it they have created a homemade version! Those little containers just take everything up to a whole other level. These meals leave me feeling full, energetic and happy! No more being "hangry" for me! :) Now for comparison I have tried at least 8 different companies over the years in South Florida and by far this is the best. Issues I have had with other companies are literally non existent with fit food fresh. The meals come in insulated bags with ice packs in really nice tightly sealed containers. So you don't have to worry about leaks or repacking your food to take to lunch with you. Delivery has always been another big issue with other companies Bc I work all crazy hours, am never home, and work in many different locations. So what I love is that they are so dependable, when I wake up in the morning my meals are always there waiting on me! The company wrote a reply that I thought was thorough and definitely addressed what I had an issue with so I am making a few edits. I was suspicious of their calorie count because I have eaten quite a bit at Snap Kitchen, My Fit Foods, and Kitchfix (I live in Chicago) - and they all agree about what looks like 500 calories. Fit Food Fresh seemed to have much more food for the same (written) calorie amount. I lost 10-15 lbs with Kitchfix and Snap Kitchen & it was not fun. It seemed FFF just had way more food. I used the example of the chicken parm with all that spaghetti for 430 calories...which seems low to me, but I would need a food scale to really tell. The response to the review explains this - so you can read more about it below. I had unsubscribed from their email list for a dozen times since I was only in Miami for a brief period at the end of 2016. So, the last straw was yet another "look at our menu" email - prompting that review. Apparently, they have been having issues with their email list. As I said in the first review, their food was amazing for the calorie count and also the price was pretty competitive with similar cooked / delivered services (actually, many items are better than restaurants). I've never found a place that makes prepared healthy food that tastes this good. There are places in Chicago like this that don't even compare remotely (Kitchfix comes close but Snap Kitchen or My Fit Foods - which closed - do not). After looking for hours at the different options in Miami (who don't even let you pick your menu, which is weird vs. Chicago), it was clear that this is the one and only place that is worth ordering from in Miami.
