The service: hardly a bargain at all when you compare to what's missing that we're used to with UVerse. (No FXX?? Ugh!! A ton of my favorite TV is on that channel :( No DIY Network either. There are more that I miss, but. ...out of sight, out if mind. Sigh. Sadface. ) The equipment is ....thhheeeeee......slooooooooooooowest........thing.......evvvvvverrrrrrrrr. Even on the "main" wired box (which I don't understand why we have at all - promised a completely wireless system. Anyway....) it takes close to a full minute for the system to respond to each command, like pulling up "guide" or selecting a channel. My couch time is limited - I can't be wasting minutes all willynilly like this! Don't totally hate it - it's meh - but definitely not completely happy either. Should have just amended our UVerse package. Or gone with Time Warner. Or ditched such services altogether in lieu of a solely Netflix & Hulu life. Think hard before you commit to a contract.

Initial Review: Let me start by saying I have been a Rock Solid Internet customer for 8 years. I'm a computer professional, I work out of my house, so I use the internet all day long. I know immediately when my internet goes down, and I use the internet in the evening as well, including streaming services such as NetFlix & Hulu. I also am a very demanding consumer, who wants & notices the highest quality picture possible while streaming. I'll admit that many of the reviews posted here about RSI quality of service are experiences I have had at one time, but it's no longer the case for me. Sometime in late 2015 I noticed service was good enough for me to stream Hulu content reliably, but not NetFlix. In early 2016 I found I could get NetFlix to also stream really consistent. I actually waited several months to be sure I was going to continue to see good service, before posting a review. My internet has been consistently up during the day and very fast. As with many other internet providers, it does slow a little bit in the early evening, when people get home from work & school. But it's entirely good enough for evening stream on NetFlix & Hulu, I honestly cannot remember the last time NetFlix or Hulu paused.

Grande has been nothing but a pain for the last year, and I am just TIRED of their excuses. I work from home, and there hasn't been a single day where I lose internet signal more than 5 times a day (that is not normal). On some days, I lose signal for hours and I know what their answer is "unplug and plug back your router". It is so frustrating that doesn't matter what we do, we always have the same issue and the customer service tells me that if they send someone, and don't find a problem then I have to pay an additional fee for their "work". They used to be such a good company with amazing customer service, but I guess since their recent changes with Astound things have been changing for the worse.
