Bibibap and spicy pork bulgogi with all the banchan.

This is the first Korean restaurant I have been to in DFW and my wife's first ever Korean experience. All of the food was really good in the atmosphere felt like being in a family member's house. All of the food was well seasoned, but not too pungent. I really enjoyed the fresh kimchi.

I really like that this place is just a couple of minutes from my house. I haven't been in a while so it was nice to be able to go with my friend. There is always a place to sit. It's not too loud inside so you can definitely hear your conversation. I usually go for the beef spare rib, the food is always really good and amazing. You get several sides to go along with your meal. I try to go at least once a month, but I would like to go more.

So I was looking for a Korean bbq place for dinner and this place popped up on Google so that's where we ended up. It's a small place in a strip mall, we were greeted immediately as we walked in and the staff was very very friendly and attentive. They do have some tables with Korean bbq grills in the center but I didn't see any Korean bbq options and nobody in the restaurant was using one either I'm not sure what that's about. I ordered the spicy beef bulgoggi and a Korean beer I've never heard of which was kinda like a Heineken, my girlfriend ordered the combo fried rice. The bulgoggi was tasty but seemed to have just as much as onions as it did beef even though I ordered the large and for $17 in my opinion overpriced, the fried rice was a good portion and our meals came with all the usual side dishes which is nice. Overall it's not what I was looking for and it was overpriced but the food was fresh and had food flavor.

We are still getting the sausage jungol because it is just that good! Get it and you will not be disappointed. All of the accompanying sides are tasty and fun! Now you also need to try the kimchi jun (spicy tasty pancake) and Kimbap roll. Our server was fantastic as always!

This place is a gem. Simple place, great food, nice staff, decent portion-size. The Kim chi's are complimentary & you can get refills. We loved all the Kim chi's & savored every bite! Both the bimbop & spicy pork bulgogi were so tasty & tender. Loved the crispy rice in the bimbop cast iron bowl. The space is nicely decorated in Korean theme & spacious.

A hidden gem in plain sight! Very authentic Korean restaurant. The servers were very friendly and helped with the menu. My husband and I shared 2 large Korean BBQ plates and it came with all the little sides. We also order separately kimchi stew and the kimchi pancake. Everything was so delicious! The ambiance was very homey and comfortable. We will def be coming back soon!

My To-Go Korean spot! (My Korean friend approved!!). Me and my husband have been coming since we were still in college. It always gets the spicy pork and my husband always gets the grill eel! We're usuals here haha! The servers know us and our order, they are super sweet! It's a mom and pop shop so the food feels very homie!

Friendly staff. Bad food. But I guess I shouldn't have expected better Korean food in Fort worth. You're better off just driving the extra time to go to Carrollton or even Dallas for better Korean food. The only decent dish we ordered was a galbi tang. But no Korean restaurant should make a bad galbi tang. The waitress was friendly. Most of the customers seemed to be regulars. And not Korean.

    Kimchi pancake. Fantastic.

Tasty! Tried to pop in for lunch a few months ago and they were slammed so I left not having much time. Just met a coworker here today and they were MUCH slower. Friendly service although only 1 waitress really for the entire place so could be problematic if busier. We both ordered the lunch bento box was pretty solid amt of food for the money. We got beef bulgogi and spicy chicken and both boxes were demolished in short order. Not a soup person so left that untouched. What probably stole the show though was the kimchi pancake as it was amazing. Will def be back again!

This is my new favorite place! Great food, prices are decent, friendly staff. The jjigae is my favorite and they give plenty of delicious side dishes. I'm always excited to come here while in the area.

Best and most authentic Korean food in Fort Worth! It is owned by a father, mother, and daughter who are so kind! They put their heart into their work, and make the extra effort to not change any recipe to keep it authentic! Their sides are amazing and I LOVE their bibimbap, japchae, and soon tofu soup so much! I've been back many times and have always had a great experience! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Definitely one of my favorite places UPDATE: I have now been 6 times since finding it in November...still amazing and will be here many more times!! The owners were so kind and gave us so much fish cakes because we loved it and asked for more! I brought my parents Bc I always rave about this place and they now understand the hype

Updating my review again since its been a while, just to say its still one of my favorite places for my Korean food cravings in the area. Seafood pancake!!! I can't say it enough. Def choose this over the kimchi pancake! Dine in or do take out, the food is still delicious either way.

An amazing little hide-away for some awesome Korean food. Excellent service and great food. Can't wait to go back.

Left here stuffed from great quality lagalbi. The only complaint was our steamed dumplings were cold but tasty.

I'm not sure what their experience what, but I'm going to die on this hill that this is some phenomenal, life-changing chicken. I got takeout. Double flavor wings. Gang-jeong. Perfect balance of sweetness, umami, and heat. The other flavor was chessling. Again, perfect balance; this time, it was between rich cheesiness and a right amount of sweetness as well. I highly recommend both flavors. Now, this is just about the flavor itself. The meat itself was so tender and juicy. In the most appetizing, and hopefully not weird (but inevitably weird) way to describe it, it's almost as if I just caught the chicken with my bare hands and took a bite out of it. However, instead of getting feathers in my mouth, I was met with the most satisfyingly crispy exterior. What was specifically amazing about it was the fact that you could distinctly taste the tender meat on the inside separate from the crispy crunch on the outside. This was one of those meals where once I was done, I was in a complete coma afterwards. I woke up the next day in my bed about an hour or two before I had to get to work. Even though I was in a short vegetative state, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

The atmosphere was about what you'd expect from a restaurant near a college campus. The chicken is expensive, so I'd suggest using the app and signing up for emails to get deals. That said, the flavors I chose were delicious, and the chicken itself was very tasty.

Hatsuyuki Handroll Bar is a Japanese hand roll restaurant that focuses on fresh seafood,…read moremade-to-order sushi, and a more interactive dining experience. We walked into a space centered around sitting at the bar and watching the chefs prepare each hand roll in front of us, which gave the meal a more personal feel compared to a traditional sushi restaurant. The setup is smaller and more intimate, making the experience feel closer to a sushi bar rather than a casual meal spot. The biggest highlight is the quality of the fish and the hand rolls themselves. The seafood tastes fresh, clean, and carefully prepared, with options like salmon belly, otoro, kanpachi, and crab hand rolls standing out. We ordered a few different rolls and found each one well executed, with the fish having a clean, bright flavor that did not rely on heavy sauces or toppings. Each roll is made individually, so the nori stays crisp and the textures come through better than pre-made sushi. The menu has a good balance of classic choices and more creative combinations, making it easy to try different flavors throughout the meal. The chef interaction adds another layer to the visit. Since everything is prepared right in front of you, we could see the attention put into each piece, from assembling the ingredients to serving it at the right moment. The chefs were precise in their movements and took the time to explain the different fish and flavor profiles, which made the meal feel more like an experience rather than just ordering sushi off a menu. One thing to plan for is the wait. Hatsuyuki does not take reservations, and the popularity means there can be a significant line during busy hours. We arrived earlier and found it helped us avoid a longer wait. Seating is limited, but that also helps maintain the quality and atmosphere of the restaurant. The intimate size of the bar means the service stays focused and the pacing remains personal, even when the restaurant is full. Hatsuyuki Handroll Bar is one of the stronger sushi experiences in the area for anyone who enjoys fresh seafood and a more curated dining style. The wait can be a downside, but the quality of the fish, chef preparation, and overall atmosphere make it worth visiting, especially if you are looking for something beyond standard sushi rolls. The focus on craftsmanship and the personal interaction with the chefs elevate the meal into something more memorable than a typical sushi stop.

We ended up waiting about an hour and a half, even though we noticed other people arriving after us and getting seated right away while we were still waiting. That felt pretty uncalled for, especially since other guests who arrived after us were seated first, and a few other couples agreed. That being said, the sushi was delicious, and the service was very attentive and friendly. I just wish the seating process had been handled better.
