Pretty bomb & filling! On Google and Yelp, the restaurant is open 7 days a week. However, on Instagram AI, it suggests the business is closed on Sundays. I called to confirm the hours, and they are open on Sundays, so you're welcome. Inside is spacious and cold so I recommend bringing a sweater or order sake to warm up. Our wait staff was super accomadating and allowed my pary to choose where we wanted to sit. read more

No plates to share appetizers and no extra napkins either, had to use napkins as plates and ended up with nothing to clean our hands, no staff nearby to ask for plates and napkins, this is something that should be automatic. BAD SERVICE!!! read more

From out of town, wanted a light meal and thought sushi was a good choice. Started with the plum wine. It is very good - a little sweet, so I savored it as a dessert. Ordered the baked scallop roll ... it was a feast! So much for light meal, delicious to the last bite. read more

The crazy girl roll is what's up!!!! Its lightly fried on the outside and on the inside has spicy tuna, cream cheese, avocado and tempura shrimp with the spicy mayo and itsdeliciousness!!! The fam and I liked it best!!!!! The crunch roll and the baked salmon rolL was good, but again the crazy girl was on point. We didn't venture out too much with the other rolls as some of my fam is not used to sushi but I wanted them to try something new today. My sister had the lunch special with rice, tempura veggies, salad, teriyaki chicken and sesame chicken. She liked her meal a lot and we all shared the rolls and had a sample from her plate. The teriyaki chicken to me was just OK, but I wish the chicken was a little more moist / tender but the sesame chicken was pretty good. I think it needs a little more sauce or a little more crunch to the battered chicken. Service was ok as the waitress was easily distracted by things behind the host desk and it took like 15 min for her to remember to get my sisters dressing, extra napkins and straws .... it wasn't that busy in their but nevertheless there was some delays in service. We sat at a both near the sushi bar and the table with the pointed corners were sharp and dug in as one slid into the booth..... a square table inn a curved booth is not safe or practical. Be aware of that one spot. ThIs establishments was clean, with friendly staff and 2 hr parking street side. Update 02/14/2020: today was all about the crazy girl rolls!!!! They went up in price to $12.95 but four days ago they were $11.95 ..... must be because you they have gained more popularity or price increased somewhere else and it's a good way to add that buck! Regardless, it was still flavorful and delicious!!!! read more

Not impressed. Waited 15 mins to be acknowledged for drinks, got appetizers and meals at the same time, kids meal was last and later than everything. No one told us fruit was out so they just gave my child fries without asking. Egg rolls were delivered ice cold. Servers acted like we were an inconvenience 50% of the time. Told the manager on duty and her response did not seem sincere nor did she do anything to acknowledge the experience we had. Prob won't be back. Unfortunately the tip amount depends on the service and experience. read more

Sushi joint in downtown Hanford with a south of the border twist. Pretty good sushi for this area. Tasted fresh and service was okay. The two rolls I had were tasty and well prepared. The seaweed salad was all seaweed, fresh and delicious. Didn't have lettuce or any fillers. I also had the Mexican miso soup which surprisingly was very good. It was a cross between chicken tortilla soup and miso soup. Probably would only get miso soup next time but I'm glad I had it like this. No complains and tasty. Service was decent at best. Only 5 other tables had customers but it seemed as my lady was doing most of the work serving them and cleaning them after they were done. My water never got refilled as she never offered or came around. I also got up to get a fork which the sushi cook was happy to acquire for me. Overall a good experience and looking forward To going back and trying other rolls. read more

Got three different rolls but they all ended up looking like the same roll the only difference was the toppings. Fried gyoza was good.

Omg this is my favorite! I can't name them all but for sure need to have, the mountain roll & California dreaming! Sometimes they have a wait. The spicy garlic edamame is different, but I order anyways. The place is always so clean and welcoming and they do birthday celebrations! read more

SO THEY had me make my payment over the phone because after 8pm you can't order UNLESS you pay over the phone I paid like they asked they called me back 20 minutes after when I was already on my way there and said sorry we can't make your food any more ever after I paid the only reason you guys are still even up and running is because of the military coming to eat because Hanford is so small and doesn't have that many restaurants other then THAT you guys are rude and expensive and food isn't that great just had no where else to go. Can't wait till you guys are shut down read more

Always good service and good food ! Their Thai tea ver good , sushi always perfect ! It's our little gem in Hanford

Visiting from out of town and went in about 6:30 On a Wednesday. Service was prompt and friendly. We ordered drinks, there is a nice selection, and our food. My son and I got two of the special rolls each, they were huge and very delicious. The psycho roll in particular was fantastic. Tiger Roll was good and fresh. Crunch roll was ok, not my favorite. My parents both got a bento box, lots of food and a good variety. It was a bit pricey, almost $150 for 4 of us but it was delicious. The music was a bit too loud for the small space , but other than that it was a great experience. Would love to visit again. read more

We went to this restaurant to eat with mother in love and my parents as well as my husband for Father's Day. The Food was amazing! Service was on point. The place is clean and beautiful! We got the kamikazi, Mexican monkey, baked salmon and another roll I cannot recall. We will be back! Not a long wait for a Sunday at noon. read more

The service was great. Came around 2:30. Was seated immediately and it was a pretty busy time. Ordered the sushi sandwich, spicy ramen, and a sushi roll. All the food was good. The service was also good. Ramen has shrimp tampura and pork belly. It was not overwhelmingly spicy. It was perfect for me. By the time we received our food it slowed down in the restaurant so it was pretty calm. read more

COVID-19 phase: My mother ordered the spicy jalapeño crab roll , garlic edamame, baked mussels and the firecracker roll. The worker said it would be ready shortly. We went to get it. The restaurant is very nice! They have great music playing! They also have indoor eating allowed. Of course with masks being required and worn by workers. Plus social distancing is practiced. Fantastic lunch! 5 stars big time! ;) The Spicy Jalapeño Crab roll was spicy, fresh and oh so delicious! The garlic edamame was garlic goodness! The baked mussels were delicious and tasted even better with the sauce provided! The Firecracker roll was spicy and had so much flavor with a great spicy kick! My mother thought hers was great! She enjoyed how spicy it was and said that the rolls were fresh! She said it was all a great combination! Plus, it was a lot of food! Leftovers! Woo-hoo! Great service and delicious food! Highly recommended! read more

Soo glad I found this place so close to home!! Food does not disappoint one bit. We have visited a few times and each time, the food is amazing. Prices were decent as well. The food was extremely disappointing and the own/cook is rude!!! We ordered takeout and our food was nothing as advertised, however the worse part was the owner yelling at us on the phone before hanging up. The rolls were tiny and weren't fresh(warm and discolored). My children love sushi and I would never feed them this! I thought the seared tuna on top was sliced ham because it was so thin and odd colored. The whole thing was just wrong. We wanted to voice our concerns to the owner and after he started yelling and telling us his "food is great", we asked for a refund. The owner refused to even listen to our complaints and hung up. That was extremely unprofessional. We try to support local businesses but I will NEVER return here. read more

Tried this out last Friday as part of dine outside downtown Hanford. The set up is simple and they sit many people. They do reservations, call ahead, they stay busy! The service is slower than your average restaurant but it's because each sushi roll is made to order and made to perfection! 4 stars because when we arrived it took forever to be seated but the table we had been assigned had been empty and cleaned since we checked in 10 min before our reservation. We had received our text saying the table was ready but they said it wasn't. We waited, I wasn't happy. But then we sat, and service was great!! You should go! read more

Love this place! Sushi is always fresh, and customer service is excellent. Highly recommend!

Usually I enjoy coming here but this is now the 2nd time I've had received food that was tasteless and charred. We ordered 2 meals and the grilled teriyaki beef was burned and tasted so bad. One of the plates (the sizzler plate) was the biggest waste. All the vegetables and beef was burned and was stuck to the cast iron by the time it was brought out. The quality of food is not near worth the price you pay. Additionally I waited almost 15 minutes to receive my tab after I had originally asked a server for it. It seems like this establishment cares more about making a tip on large parties than regular customers. Definitely will not be returning... read more

Meh. I ordered take out. The hostess/cashier didn't even know what teki maki was when I asked her from the menu. My rolls had no flavor. 2 Cali rolls, salmon rolls, and the hanford roll. But that may have been the type of fish they used. They also were all in separate containers and I think they could have been together in one because so much wasted styrofoam. I will have to try it again sometime but sit in the restaurant this time. There was some people in there but not a lot. read more

How this place has four stars is beyond me. Cold, bland, what little flavor there was completely facilitated by the ridiculous amount of sauce; for any given dish. Service left more to be desired, no refills and let plates accumulate on table making a messy situation. Kind enough though. The place is a bit too big for what it is, cold interior and ambiance. Yet, I honestly feel sick after eating the questionable rolls, which were sitting in pools of spicy mayo and eel sauce. Do better. read more

I love this place! I go there often for sushi and sake. Highly recommended! Great for a casual date or just meeting up with friends.

Went on a Friday night. College football was on. Great atmosphere. Food was delicious. My first time there and I will be back.

This is a smaller restaurant, good quality food. Wait time usually less than 5 minutes to be seated. Fair price for the food.

For Hanford, it's an OK sushi place. I've had much better, but I've also had much worse. Decent Japanese fare at a reasonable price.

Average sushi. Average prices. Average service. I want above average for my limited dine out dollars.

Best sushi ever! Sit at the sushi bar and talk to the owner/sushi chef. He truly cares about his work and sushi. The fish quality is beyond comparison. VERY fresh melts in your mouth like butter. Never had a bad Roll or experience here. My favorite is the salmon avocado and tuna avocado (custom rolls). Not that frou-frou stuff. You can customize any roll. Seriously have I mentioned already how amazing this place is. Wonderful customer service. I can't speak highly enough. I come here at least twice a week. read more
