Great staff and delicious food everytime. Highly recommend for entertaining family visiting.

The food is great But it takes forever to get seated and there is no place to wait so you will end up just standing outside for an hour ( not exaggerating $ read more

We're frequently visiting this restaurant. However, we are sick and tired of the poor customer service we receive each and everytime! This is an average plate of $35. Food is excellent but service is horrible. read more

I don't even know where to begin. The food is great. The seasoning on the meat and vegetables is done perfectly. The shrimp sauce is AMAZING! The fried rice is so good as well. Lastly, the drinks are also very good. Now to the not so good part about Samurai. It is a bit expensive but I believe if the food is good then it is worth the money. Luckily, if you come during lunch in the weekdays (before 3) the food is discounted. Parking can be a nightmare at times but they recently out a valet service there to help with the parking. Whenever it gets packed I always park across the street in the mall and just walk to Samurai (not a big deal). Also, the wait time can be horrible if you go on the weekends or dinner time on Friday. What I do is just sit in the bar and have a couple of drinks till my name is called. All in all, I give samurai 4 stars because the good outweighs the bad. read more

Hands down one of the best Asian places in south Florida. Great food, great service and reasonable prices for what you get.

The food here is always great but they force you to valet park which is why we don't come here as much as we used to anymore. Valet usually is slow and we should not be forced to use valet to eat here read more

Nice place to eat hibachi style food, nothing special or memorable about it. The chefs are nice and give a good show. Prices are what you'd expect for a restaurant on this class read more

Edit: I loved this place for years. Benihana bought them out and the quality of the food went steeply downhill. Got takeout today and will never go back again. Don't need to blow $65 on lunch for two when there's a place nearby with better food for $20, and I can see that they're taking more appropriate safety measures. read more

I grew up in the neighborhood and this restaurant is one of my all-time favorites. It's very popular. They do not take reservations but it's worth the wait. I always get filet mignon with fried rice and it never disappoints. Yes, it is a little pricey but a shrimp appetizer, salad (with delicious ginger dressing) and mushroom soup are included in the price. They will offer two kinds of sauces but all the locals get double pink sauce. It's supposed to be for the shrimp but most people use it for everything esp the fried rice. Both the sauce and the salad dressing are so popular you can purchase them to go. You will leave Samurai stuffed and happy! read more

This place continues to go downhill. The food was good but the service was poor. This was management not the staff. The place was packed and the lack of adequate staff was quite evident. When a table mate asked a food runner/busboy for a glass of water she was told ask your waiter. Very poor customer service. Our chef Jaime was very good and the food was good. However Japanese vegetables are now onions with a few pieces of zucchini. I remember it used to be pea pods broccoli and sprouts. Charge an extra dollar and make It vegetables not onions. It will be a long time before we go back read more

I've been going there for the past 10 years. The food and concept has kept itself consistent. The chefs there have changed, and some of them are younger guys with a fake asian accent lol Some of the food was alittle bit yucky he burnt it way too much. I prefer the old setup now it just seems like a real chain restuarant before it was a bit more private, more exclusive. I miss the old set up. I felt cramped in the back table. But atleast the deco is a lot up to date. The servers station was filthy and I could see it from my table and it was making me think twice.. but i go for the yellow sauce and fried rice. read more

Firstly, I don't know why i have never been to this restaurant before! I've been missing out on a great dining experience. Took my son here for his birthday and i'm glad i chose this place because the atmosphere is very good, once you finally get seated. One bad thing though is, they do not accept reservations and the wait is around an hour. Sitting at the bar to wait, my son and his friends were making use of the wait by drinking celebratory Saki bombs! We shared our table with a couple on their first date, that was a first for me, the communal dining area was a lot of fun. this is a great place to go with a group. the food was great and the Chef provided great entertainment. Oh and the shrimp sauce was awesome! A great time, will definitely return. read more

Beware . Do not valet you car at Samurai. They traded in their old sunglasses for my brand new Oakleys. Never again . How disappointing . read more

Really cool place , the way then cook in front of you it's very excited, professional chefs make a show in front of you with the food then start make figures and crazy stuff, a little pricey, but it's a restaurant for special occasion in my case, totally recommend. read more

Samurai - The Amazing Chef Jaime! - Steakhouses Near Me - Miami, Florida

Not sure if our chefs name was Rafael, Ray, or something else with an R. But just know that this was my first time here and I received such great service and such delicious food that my tab of $150+ didn't even bother me. I enjoyed every thing about this place and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Can't wait to come back soon maybe on my birthday in January and don't worry, I'll bring business. Great job guys! read more

Went to Samurai this past week and loved it so much! I normally go to Benihana but I was in the area and decided to go here. They are basically the same, just with a different name. All in all, everything was delicious! read more

So my experience coming here is honestly nothing to be knocked off your feet. I've been here a few times and yes the food is delicious. Although it seems as if every aspect of seasoning involves high amounts of sodium content. For children the chef experience is something they will enjoy but I always feel underwhelmed with the chefs "acrobatic" knife show so to speak. Best times to go are during the lunch specials which are half off and before the 7pm dinner rush. The wait can easily be close to two hours. If friends and family want to go I'm not opposed but it won't be my first choice for a sushi, steak, hibachi experience. read more

We put in an order for lunch at work, they forgot items, they gave us 4 little soy sauces packets for 5 rolls, they forgot to give us the garlic butter sauce that we had to pay extra for. I called and spoke to a manager by the name of GIGI RODRIGUEZ, who informed me that I should have checked my bags before I left and that what I ordered was all in the bags and that it was on me for not checking!!!! On top of that she was very rude. We paid over $100 dollars for crappy attitude and wrong orders!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! read more

One of our favorite restaurants for years. Excellent food and service. While some might find it pricey, the amount of food and quality more than makes up for the price, but you have to know what to order. I will continue going and loving it. read more

Extremely disappointed at the lack of professionalism at this restaurant. We weren't with a group of 12, waited over an hour to sit. Restaurant was half empty and people kept coming in groups of 2, kept getting seated while my entire group waited. We approached the hostess who directed us to the manager. Manager?!! Such a rude and low class person. Ruined our lunch. Absolutely zero customer service. Nasty attitude. He advised due to the shift change there was a delay. No apologies whatsoever. This will be our last time visiting this place. read more

Not worth the money food is the same as mushi mushi at the beach something you're gonna get for $20 the triple is $58 at samurai minus the Show but i rather skip the show for the same food Miami vice was weak super disappointed worked right next to mushi mushi so i know what my fav rice taste like lol ugh waste of money guys throwing the food was great tho lol read more

Food is really yummy. They've gotten a little cheap w the portion sizes, used to serve more specially the fried rice. Service is usually good. Unless your party is big you'll be seated w other people at the hibachi table. Come hungry but not starving because you won't be served quickly. Overall not bad but for the price I wish portions were bigger read more

The situation was resolved quickly by the management staff. They were professional and courteous. This situation does not represent the values of the individual restaurant or the chain. It was a completely random event. read more

I love this restaurant they are very kid friendly and entertaining. Had to give 3 stars now cause I've been waiting for 1 hour and a half. The dispositive they give us it's been active two times and we waited the time they told us too, the dispositive vibrated we went to the two girls and told us it was a mistake. This must be a joke. This place was absolutely an amazing experience that I will never forget. My beautiful daughter invited me out to dinner here and it was so much fun. The chefs here are so fun and love to entertain the guest, it is so funny and entertaining. I would highly recommend you visit Samurai atleast once and I can promise you will be back. The food is of the highest quality and freshness that you can get, plus you watch it all be prepared right in front of you. One last tip, try the Samurai Punch (alcoholic) it was soooo delish! Drink responsibly people. And enjoy the show read more

Oh boy...what happened to you Samurai? Let's talk about the first issue- THE VALET. First off, you have no choice but to valet, which is ridiculously slow. I had three cars in front of me and it took nearly ten minutes for them to get my car. The fact is, the parking lot is TOO SMALL for valet-only. The valet guys were incredibly incompetent. At one point, I was visibly next in line, and they skipped my car entirely. When I walked out of my car and gave him my key, he asked what car I was in. ????? The one right behind me, perhaps? Honestly, the valet guys seemed so frazzled and disorganized that I can't even blame them for their stupidity. The restaurant needs to come up with a better system; there clearly is not an established routine. When I was retrieving my car at the end of dinner, the dumbest thing happened. My car was RIGHT NEXT TO THE VALET GUY. So, why can't I just get in my car and drive off? The guy insisted on driving it right up in front of us, which took about five minutes because so many cars in the lot were blocking each other. Common sense. I do give credit to one of the valet guys because he was running to and from the cars. He clearly cares about his job, but again, there's no system in place. Anyway, so the dining experience was also pretty bad. Now, I've been to Samurai more times than I can count, and there were pretty specific things that went wrong (I'm choosing not to name the chef). - the new area of the restaurant doesn't have a fan above the table. The stove got so smoky it was burning my eyes. - there are no blinds in the new area. At one point, the sun was shining in our eyes, but there was nothing they could do. - the onions and zucchini were cut into very long pieces and were seriously undercooked. It's been an hour+ and I can still taste raw onion. - the steak was ordered medium rare and came out rare, so much so that we requested he cook it some more. - he used the same utensils to cut raw chicken and the rest of the food. He wiped the utensils down with a towel after using it for the chicken, but that didn't seem like enough for me. It was simply a dry towel that was used over and over. They should use different utensils. - his hair was long and not covered with a net. - our waters were left empty much of the time. - we were there for a birthday, and they gave us sherbet instead of ice cream. Who wants sherbet, especially when they HAVE ice cream (I saw another table get chocolate)! - not sure if this is standard anymore, but they didn't take a Polaroid photo of us like they did last year. Overall, something has happened to samurai recently. I'm seriously wondering whether they're under new management. I hope that management reads this and discusses these issues with all of the staff. read more

Its very sad how far this restaurant as fallen. I ordered takeout from this place and when I arrived their employee said that they could find the order because I never placed the order and just walked away. Ugh, ok, so I guess they think a random customer happen to pick up the phone when I called and took my order as some kind of joke. Eventually after a lot of trouble, I was table to talk to someone who tracked down the guy who took the order and I guess he did not place it in the right place. I decided to give them another the following month and the guy taking the order was either trolling me or had some serious problem with understanding basic instructions. I wanted a Shrimp only mean for one family member and a Chick&Shrimp dinner for another family member. When trying to place the order for the shrimp, he would say like " Yes, the there is Shrimp in the Chick&Shrimp meal" over and over again instead of understanding that I was ordering a separate meal. That is must a small example but the take orders from this place are horrible. read more

I can't believe I haven't written a review for this place. It's my favorite hibachi restaurant ever. The chicken is my favorite choice and if you go for lunch it's only $11 for mushroom app, fried rice, chicken meal and veggies. Go early because there is always a wait! read more
