They buy and sell boxes, packs, and individual cards as well. The staff has always been friendly, and as someone whose 11-year-old son is getting into Pokémon cards, I really appreciate how kindly they treat him, even though he's just a kid. That doesn't go unnoticed. This store isn't just for kids, though. There are plenty of adults who come to play games and hang out, which makes for a cool community vibe. One nice feature is a computer system in the back where you can look up their card inventory. The interior isn't the most aesthetically pleasing, but it serves its purpose well, and the staff makes it a good experience. I'm glad places like this exist--where people can gather, play, and just enjoy themselves. One funny thing: for the longest time, I had no idea what the store was because it's called "Amazing Discoveries," and I wasn't exactly sure what amazing discoveries were happening inside. But once I figured out what it was, I've been back several times--and I know I'll be going even more often with my son.

They have a nice selection of current & past comics, some nice slabs and a couple $1 & discount bins. My wife picked up (4) Funko Pops (BTS) for our Daughter. Plenty of great stuff to look through and a little something for most fans. We really enjoyed our conversation & visit, and will definitely be back when visiting the area. Got scammed by the dude, he forced me to buy a comic after I read it in the store. I was killing…read moretime with a couple friends, I don't even like comic books. There were no signs or anything saying if I read it I had to buy it. I picked up a random comic (he saw me do it and didn't say anything) and flipped through a couple pages. I put it back on the shelf and he said I have to buy it because it was now "Used". On my way out of the store he used a rude tone and made me buy it before leaving. Bad experience, will never go back there. If there was signage or something that explained I'd have to buy it, I wouldn't have read it in the first place.

Set-up for free comic pick-up was easy and smooth. They allowed (3) per person, and the line moved relatively quickly. Did some Bin diving while visiting, found some books I was looking for, and picked up some new issues w/variants. The best way I can pay homage to a business that was a memorable part of my childhood is to say this is one of the BEST comic book stores EVER. The store has had multiple locations around town back to the first location circa early 1990's. Atomic Comics still serves as a haven where kids of all ages can immerse themselves in fantasy and adventure and stimulate their imagination. The shop has all things comic and pop culture from figures and toys, books and graphic novels, cards and games, clothes and accessories, even a section for manga and anime. The vibe of this place is a clean, fun, safe space where kids can escape and decompress. I would even say it is a therapeutic experience and positive for mental health zoning out to comics. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and personable and willing to strike up a conversation with patrons. If you need another reason to gather here, the store hosts a variety of events and tournaments which you can explore on their website for schedules and info. If there was a nuclear fallout, Atomic Comics would be one place where I wouldn't feel bad about hunkering down. Deciding to come here is not splitting atoms. Never give your business to this store. You'll be left disappointed. I called them in February…read morebefore putting in an order for the Magic the Gathering: Final Fantasy Collector Booster Box to verify that they had enough allocation and that their online listing for it was not a mistake. They told me that if it is up then they have allocation. Fast forward to June when the set releases. I had to find out via reddit that Strange Adventures said that they do not have enough allocation to fill orders and instead would do a *raffle* vs queue order. They said they would post who won the raffle the following day. This never happened. They also said if you want to get a refund on your preorder, you need to *e-mail* them (vs them initiating the refund). There's also other reports of customers getting charged post-announcement as well. I've sent an inquiry e-mail days ago with no response. Fortunately, I finally found out that I could cancel the order from the Shopify web page directly (I don't think I saw the option via app) and was able to do so there. Search reddit for Strange Adventures mtg or pokemon to see the extent of the issues.

Todd, the owner, is super cool and all he is there for is to help you with all your comic book needs you might ever have. I asked him about a comic I've had for years and he knew everything about it and was able to answer my questions WHILE he looked it up and didn't have to WAIT to look it up. The other watch was my dad's watch that he gave to me shortly before he passed away. They listened to me tell them a little bit about the watch and my dad, and found the problem right away. It needed a new movement. They ordered the Swiss movement and had it working perfectly within the timeframe they quoted me. The pricing was very reasonable and the service was excellent.
