I dropped off my engagement ring to be repaired, it was my fiancée's grandmother's. They promised it in about 4-5 days. There was a severe crack in one of the bands, and it was 3 sizes too big. The store is closing this Saturday, 2-23-19 and the customer service is terrible! They took my ring for repair 3 weeks ago since it was under warranty. I only had the ring for 4 weeks when a diamond fell out. They returned the ring to me today...the diamond is still missing and they told me I had to send it in to the jeweler repair which is what I wanted to do to start! "Don't worry it's free they said". UPDATE 11/11/16 Brandon with Customer Service was great. He understood the issue & went above to make it correct. He had the ring overnighted to another store as my husband didn't want to deal with the Arrowhead Store. Our understanding we would be able to have ring sizes same day as we do not live in town. Earl at the Mesa store was great, unfortunately he said they could not have ready until Next Friday! Needless to say I was heartbroken & had to leave the store while my husband worked it out with Earl to arrange pickup at a later date. So I appreciate both Brandon with customer service & Earl at the Mesa store to go beyond to make it right. So thank you. I'm disappointed I still have no band when we drove over 3 hours one way. Again Samuel Jewelers did their best to make it right & besides not being able to get my ring same day due to not being local they did their best. Do NOT buy jewelry from this place!! 2 separate wedding sets purchased and 3 diamonds have fallen out. 2 side stones in one set so we traded it for another ring and my center stone then fell out after a couple weeks of wearing it. In 8 months I have worn a ring for 6 weeks total otherwise Samuels has had it at their "corporate office" to fix it yet no one at corporate or the manager of the AZ arrowhead store, Keisha can give me any information on where it is. My boyfriend and I went to the mall for promise rings and Samuels Jewelers was the third place we visited. We were greeted and helped by Kiesha Gibson, the store manager she was very very nice. Definitely recommend asking for her when you visit this location. She helped me find a beautiful ring, she was polite and not pushy like the other sales associates at other jewelry stores. Out of all the jewelry stores we visited on Monday, Kiesha was the only one interested in getting to know us and she was not throwing financing in our face and different prices, she let us have our time to look, I really enjoyed talking to her. Our experience at this store started off wonderful when we were greeted by the assistant manager. My fiancé at the time was looking to purchase a ring for me, we were instantly approved for $2,000. I picked out a ring and had it sized, it was ready in a week or so. Fast forward to when it came time to look for a band to go with my engagement ring, we were told it would cost $4,000 for EACH band to be custom made because I wanted it to look like a drop guard but none of the drop guards they had would fit, supposedly. (If you know jewelry, you know that that price is absolutely ridiculous.) My fiancé and I then decided to trade the ring we had originally bought in for a solitaire so that we wouldn't have to custom make a band, which would bring the price significantly down. Fast forward, again, we order a guard but because it had to be ordered from another store or the manufacturer they said it would take twelve weeks... yes, three MONTHS. Three months go by and I STILL do not have my guard, I was extremely upset because my wedding date was coming up and I still didn't have my wedding set. I then went to the store to return the set before it arrived because I didn't want to wait, I would find something else... to find out THEY NEVER ORDERED IT. I decided to give them another chance to upgrade my ring, again, so that I could pick out a ring that was extravagant enough to not have to have a wedding band. The first ring they sized for me had a huge imperfection, so they ordered me a new one. Fast forward, AGAIN, I get the new ring and after a few weeks of having it, a diamond falls out. I went into the store, they replaced the diamond, I get the ring back and the next day ANOTHER diamond falls out. At this point I had spent $4,000+ and I was completely done with this store. I wanted nothing to do with them anymore but they talked me into picking another ring out to "make me happy". I picked out a completely different type of ring because I just wanted something to wear on my finger but the quality of the diamonds were so bad that I just couldn't keep it, after spending $4,000+ at this store I wanted more than a crappy quality ring. I insisted that I wanted our money returned but they said because it had been over 30 days they couldn't return my money, although the only reason it had reached the 30 days was because the ring had been fixed, twice. So I picked out a certified stone and had it set into a solitaire setting and I was finally happy. Fast forward, AGAIN, I decided I wanted to get a thicker band for my ring. Now I knew better than to go to Samuel's for anything again so I went to Kay Jewelers in the same mall and got a thicker band. Now that I had a thicker band I had no use for the thinner one, I took it to a pawn shop to sell it and come to find out... IT WASN'T 14 K GOLD. I called Samuel's Jewelers and confronted them about it, the manager told me, "We don't sell anything less than 14 K gold." After arguing with her telling her that I went to more than one pawn shop to make sure the first pawn shop knew what they were talking about, the manager had the audacity to tell me that they had bent over backwards for me and that I should "Be happy with 10 K gold." At that point I hung up with her because I couldn't believe what she had said to me. A few days later she called my (now) husband and said, "We can put a 14 K stamp on it just to give you a piece of mind even though it may not be 14 K gold." My husband and I decided that these people were not worth our time and we sold the 10 K gold at a pawn shop for $35. Although we paid over $300 for it. And that was just the engagement ring situation. I had a right hand ring from them that bent in half, along with a necklace that has lost diamonds multiple times as well. I hope that you took the time to read this and think long and hard about choosing this jewelry store. You may have a better experience than we did but I encourage you to go to Kay Jewelers in Arrowhead Mall instead. They are professional and have wonderful diamond quality. Samuel Jewelers swept me and my partner off our feet. We've visited a few other jewelers before heading to Samuel's and we're greatly disappointed by the competition's selection and customer service. The other places made me feel like I was at a car dealership and I was a walking wad of cash. Samuel's on the other hand took such great care of us. They listened well to what we were looking for, broke down all of the prices in a really simple understandable way, and treated us like humans. Omar helped us out and had amazing customer service. I took in a couple rings to be re-sized. The customer service here was excellent! When I brought my rings in, Omar helped me right away, even though he was working with another customer. He seemed genuinely excited to take care of my jewelry. Not only do they re-size, they do a full service. My rings came back so gorgeous! They polished them, took out all scratches, and tightened any loose stones! They looked better than new! They also gave me a great deal since I had multiple pieces. read more

Zero stars if I could of course they don't allow too - Crooks thieves and bad people. I purchased my fiancées wedding and engagement ring from Samuels jewelry in Arrowhead mall at 83rd and bell. After weeks of searching and looking and hundreds of rings from several different jewelers around town. She finally found the one she loved! Which is what you want for your future wife, to be completely happy with her wedding ring. During the purchasing I was force fed a warranty, that I didn't initially want. Fast forward to now, a year later, she lost a small stone so I assured her not to worry I purchased that "amazing warranty". I brought the ring in for repair. I was assured that the ring would be fixed in 3-6 weeks. I just received a call, 5 weeks later, saying that the cost to repair the ring was going to "cost" much so they would only be refunded me the sales amount (it's now on sell which I paid full price just a year ago) for the ring and taxes. Not the warranty amount I was force fed. I asked for the ring back as well for sentimental reason for my soon to be future wife plus the original total amount I paid and the ladies from the warranty company Jessica and Brooke were terrible started yelling and screaming trying to talk over me. TERRIBLE I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!! I'M NOW 3 MONTHS AWAY FROM OUR WEDDING AND NO RING!?!?! read more

I took a ring in b/c the center stone had fallen out, after Samuel's had inspected it and told me the prongs were fine only 3 months earlier. When I took the ring in to have the stone replaced, Samuel's managed to lose the original gold band and replaced the center stone with one 1/2 the original size. It looked awful. I told them they would need to replace the stone w/ the original size, and they finally agreed after much debate from them. A second time I went back, the stone was now the right size, but it wasn't mounted properly. Im not talking about a minor difference, but it didnt even look like the same ring. AGAIN it was sent back for a third time. I finally picked it up 2 months after originally dropping it off, and it still doesn't look like it did originally. The workers were rude and I would never use their store again. So much for paying extra money to get a lifetime warranty on it. They did little to fulfill the warranty. read more
