If you don't have your ring checked every 6 months (no they do not send a reminder) it is not longer valid. So when my step father died, then I had surgery with a 6 week recovery then eye surgery then my father in law passed then I had to have surgery again as the other one failed with another 6 week recovery....i finally can get to Kay to get my ring checked. Too late. Oh and the diamond is chipped but we would be glad to replace it for your for $2,300 for S1. I have kept up my warranty for 24 years and now when my life goes crazy and I can't there they basically say tough. If you had come within the 6 months we would replace for free. No let me talk with a manager. Let me see what we can do. I said really? That's it? The girl just said have a good day. Very disappointed. So I took my mom's ring to Jared and yes I was past the 6 months and I said oh no did I bugger the warranty. They said it's ok. We will fix the loose diamond, just get back in October. Oh my goodness so it was my first time coming into this actual store. I've been to the one in Scottsdale and that was fabulous as well! We were quickly spoken to by Savannah and we came in for a jewelry repair. Immediately, she said well let me take a look, and of course, Michael was completely helpful. It took him less than a minute if that to fix an earring that was no longer holding properly. Very pleasant very kind, across-the-board. I believe the manager was there. While it was initially a pleasant experience (with a gentleman named Charlie who was very patient and accommodating), after the purchase the staff was unwilling to be of any help. We returned to Kay the day after I proposed to see if we could get some work done on the ring, and a young woman there, who will remain nameless, was very cold and dismissive. I felt like, "I just gave these people HOW much money, and this is how I'm treated?" Bought my Star of David necklace here a year ago. The chain got in a knot, so I took it here last night to see if they can undo it. The blonde guy didn't even look at, and just said I needed to take it to a Jewelers to do it. I bought it here, there's no need to go to another jeweler! After telling him that I didn't need to have a warranty for them to look at it, because it wasn't broken, he proceeded to work on it. Even though there were 3 other workers with him doing absolutely nothing (as I was the only on there at the time), he dropped working on my necklace so he could go help a customer that just came in so no one else could get the commission. Said someone was working on my necklace, that was a lie. He eventually went back to my necklace and got it undone, then came over trying to sell me a $300 chain so this wouldn't happen again. Arrowhead Towne Center, Ste 2205, Glendale, AZ 85308 (623) 412-3996 to ensure that they would be open on Wednesday, 9/2/2020 and they would honor and replace my Lifetime Watch Battery Replacement that I had my purchase receipt. I was assured on the call that they would replace my watch battery. While I was getting a haircut my wife took my watch to the aforementioned Kay Jeweler and was told they would NOT replace the watch battery as it could have Covid-19. I later called that Kay Jeweler and stated it is a known fact that you CANNOT get Covid-19 from an object and that it could be wiped down. They still refused to replace the battery as they had promised on the phone 2 days previous. I then called a different Kay Jeweler at 21001 N. Tatum Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85050 (480) 585-9116 and spoke with Cat explaining what I was told by the 7700 W. Arrowhead Towne Center store. Cat was horrified that I was refused the battery replacement as promised on the phone 2 days prior and that I had driven 100 miles from Payson, AZ. Cat offered to replace the watch battery and did so as we were returning to Payson, AZ. Kudos to Cat at Kay Jewelers at 21001 N. Tatum Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85050. I am very disappointed that Kay Jewelers at 7700 W. Arrowhead Towne Center, Ste 2205, Glendale, AZ 85308 (623) 412-3996 refused to follow through on their phone promise 2 days earlier and failed to provide the customer service I had already paid for through a Lifetime Watch Battery Replacement Program. I would NOT recommend that anyone do any business with that Kay Jeweler as they do NOT stand behind what they promise and DO NOT provide the customer service that a customer pays for. I'm more than happy to have found a men's ring that so perfectly matches my women's ring bought from another retailer, however that is where my pleasure with Kay starts and ends. I'm unfortunately used to being invisible in jewelry stores, this time was no different, however the first time we went to this store we were so greatly ignored that a sales associate actually helped someone that had literally just walked in, as opposed to my fiance and I that were sitting near the men's rings waiting for anyone to help us. Needless to say we promptly left but knew we had to return since the ring we wanted was there and we wanted to see it on. When we returned to purchase the ring we had previously only seen through glass I was appalled by the treatment I was given by the young man helping us. There were two rings my fiance and I liked, we tried on the less expensive one first and liked it. I asked to see the second choice because I liked the way it looked a little better and was told in a mocking and condescending tone "of course you do, that's the more expensive one". Excuse me?! Do you not get commission?! Why on earth would you not try your hardest to not sell me the more expensive one that I liked better? I may be a woman in a store with a man, but I'm spending MY money, do not assume he doesn't want to spend excessive money on me either. I could write so much more about how terribly we were treated, but I'll save that for once I'm inevitably treated like crap for needing the ring cleaned. I wish Yelp had the option for 0 stars. My fiancé ordered a ring online due to them not having his size. He had originally had his finger sized there and ordered the size he was told. Upon receiving the ring it was way to big. The design of the ring is something that can't be resized. We took it to the store to exchange it for the right size and was told by Mike (store manager) it would have to be returned and purchased at full price instead of the sale price. It made no sense why he would not honor the sale price when we only had the ring in our possession for a couple days and it was a smaller size. Mike returned the ring and put the money back on our account. I asked him why he couldn't just exchange it and we pay the difference. Mike told us that is not how we do it. He charged our account for the full price and now we are waiting 7 to 10 days to get that money back. I am not sure how Mike became a story manager. He is very unprofessional and only out for a commission. When we first talk to Mike I let him know I needed a wedding band as well. He let me know he would show me rings after he was done with the return. Once I saw how he treated my fiancé for an extra $40 commission, I left. We went across the street to Jared and we gave them the $1,599 for my wedding ring. I hope the extra $40 was worth what you lost in your commission and the sales revenue for the store. I will never shop at another Kay again. Do yourself a favor and go to Jared. They have an amazing staff and they work with you. Kay is the drive-through of jewelry stores. So disappointed! read more

I wanted the ring to have blue diamonds and he sent it out quickly and got an answer in two days. Although it couldn't be done on my ring he was amazing and professional! Fast forward 6 weeks and I bring the ring back after some deep thought on my blue diamonds. Not only did she make me feel completely comfortable, but she reassured me that they could take care of me, and she didn't stop there. Was so happy to be at Kay finding that perfect engagement ring for the love of my life. Spent 2 hours there looking at all different types of rings and designs with the help of Michael. Once I was set on the ring I wanted we talked about finance options for the 3500$ I was going to spend. He informed me they had a program that was 0% interest over the course of 36 months on purchases of 3000$ or more. And I proceeded to ask him another 3 times, so 0% interest for 36 months right? And Michael kept reassuring me this was in fact the case and that my monthly payments would be around 125$ a month. So dead set on the ring we run the credit application and I was approved. Super excited and happy I had gotten the ring my fiancé had been dreaming of for years. Then a month later I receive my first statement for the ring. The balance on the statement now read 3556$ with 39.19$ worth of interest charges. So me being who I am was completely baffled. I called their financial institution who was absolutely no help and said they don't have the same information the store does. So after a 20min phone call that got no where I called the store at Arrowhead mall where I bought the ring. Explained my issue with the lady who answered the phone and she just flat out said I was wrong and that wasn't in fact the case. So I asked to speak to the man "Michael" who sold me the ring. The lady said he is with a customer and I can have him call you back. I advised to the lady I worked at 6pm and would need a call back ASAP as it was already 4pm. To my surprise I get a call at 845 pm just before they close at 9. Unable to answer I receive a voicemail from Michael saying he was returning my call that I requested a call back well over 4 hours ago. I wasn't able to speak to him at that time as I was at work. I will be calling back tomorrow to speak with him regarding his money hungry work ethic just to say what ever the customer wants to hear so they'll purchase the ring. Needless to say I have my paperwork stating 0% interest and as well someone who was with me who heard the exact same conversation I did. If this issue is not resolved for false information from the manager of the store I will be filing a complaint with the BBB, 3 on your side, and will take legal action.
