I understand same‑day service isn't always possible, and that wasn't the issue. I clearly explained that I only needed the gold value appraised and that the stones were zirconias. Despite this, the associate loudly questioned whether the stones were "fake," which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. I was also told the necklace was 14k, even though it is stamped 750 (18k) and had recently been confirmed elsewhere. At that point, I chose not to proceed. I went to another nearby appraiser afterward and was treated with professionalism and respect. I value good service and tend to stay loyal once I find a place I trust, but based on this experience, I won't be returning to this establishment.
