I understand same‑day service isn't always possible, and that wasn't the issue. I clearly explained that I only needed the gold value appraised and that the stones were zirconias. Despite this, the associate loudly questioned whether the stones were "fake," which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. I was also told the necklace was 14k, even though it is stamped 750 (18k) and had recently been confirmed elsewhere. At that point, I chose not to proceed. I went to another nearby appraiser afterward and was treated with professionalism and respect. I value good service and tend to stay loyal once I find a place I trust, but based on this experience, I won't be returning to this establishment.

I returned to store asked if they would replace the broken clasp with a claw clasp instead. They said would replace for a $200 up charge. I refused to pay that amount and said would just take to another jeweler. They then said would do for $100. I again was not agreeing to pay for a replacement clasp on a $1000+ necklace I just purchased from them. They said would replace with the same one for free but not upgrade. After some further conversation they agreed to replace for free with claw clasp. Upon my return the informed me that they would no longer be doing business with me or my wife. On other occasion we need just a landing ring for a clasp put in necklace and they wanted $70. We went to Micheals purchased a pack of 20 for $4. and fixed ourself. Kara Jewelry is a very unprofessional organization and over charges for there services. They give very poor customer service and do not value customers. This little shop is located right next-door to Macy's on the second floor in the Arrowhead Town Center Indoor mall. A few days ago, I noticed my watch stopped so I went back in to get a new battery. I couldn't remember, but I thought I had received a warranty on my battery when I purchased it in 2023. My service rep was extremely friendly and polite. She asked what my phone number was and found my account. She said my warranty was up in 2028 and she'd have my watch with a new battery ready for me in 15 minutes. I shopped around the mall staying in the area and received a text in 15 minutes that my order was ready. I returned and she handed me my watch and a receipt with $0 charge. Great all-around experience here and I will definitely be returning. I love honest and organized businesses. No haggle and very convenient and easy for the customer.
